Do not book with Peru Bucket List

Do not book with Peru Bucket List - this is a 3rd party service provider. Communication was unclear; when we got on the bus, our guide thought everyone was going back to Cusco that day, while we were supposed to take the train to Machu Picchu. He had not been briefed. Thankfully, the guide knew how to assist us. I booked with Peru Bucket List in April hoping to get circuit 2 tickets to Machu Picchu. They only purchased our tickets on October 21st, that is 3 weeks before our visit! They booked us on late trains to and from Ollantaytambo, which meant we had 2 very long and exhausting days. We did not end up staying at the hotel they booked us into, as it has a 2.7 star review on Google and is described as a love hotel in the search results! (Hotel para encuentros amorosos - the hotel is Hotel Machupicchu Inn if you want to look it up. The reviews speak for themselves). Our Machu Picchu guide was late and did not meet us at the hotel as stipulated by the agency. He did his best but parts of what he told us were debunked by our guide at Saqsayhuaman the next day. They say there is private transport back to Cusco, but someone was just waiting at the train station to bring us to a car with 4 other confused tourists with no further explanation. Having read stories of abuctions in Peru, warning not to get into random cars, made this a disconcerting experience. The fact that I gave 2 stars and not 0 is solely thanks to our day 1 guide, who tried to help us and was very knowledgeable about his tour. So thanks, Eddy, for saving an otherwise sad trip.

EDIT: They promised us a 160 USD refund, which they never paid.

Scam business

The entire company is a disgrace! They take your money and transmit you to a smaller business while keeping most of your payment.
It was also impossible to actually get something from the manager and our requests got ignored multiple times.
They still owe us money for a promised refund, but we are giving up hope to get the money back.

I recommend to everyone to book your trip straight from the local businesses.

Scam Company that has no actual Tour…

Scam Company that has no actual Tour guiding business. You pay for tickets months in advance and still dont get them until spamming the owner. He still owes us money!!!. If you eventually get them, they dont even align with the rest of the group and you‘ll do the tour alone without a guide. Stay far away from this company and book directly with a local tour company. Worst trip of our life

Never perubucketlist again

We booked the 3 day MANU experience - which felt like a complete hoax. It was easy bying the tour for our group of 6, but since the purchase - impossible to get in touch with the company. We tried via “manage your booking”, email, phonecall, WA….no reply until 2 hours before info meeting the day begore - where they asked us to meet up at their office which was not possible since we were on another tour. Then they asked us to just come by the office when finishing our tour. Door closed and locked! No one there. Again not answering phone (no. From order confirmation) My son then got in touch on messenger and waited for someone to come. Tour starts - 2 of 3 days is transport - never described when selling. We sleps in 2 different discusting lodges (lodge and sorroundings) and experienced next to no wildlife. Guides incredible bad at giving information. And we did give feedback on our way - but our guide said he had no responsibility since he was hired by the firm just to execute tour and had nothing to do with booking promise versus reality. We saw more wildlife from our hotel terrasse in Paracas. Never using perubucketlist again!!

Unforgettable happy hour in the desert

My husband found this tour for us, and I was skeptical that it could be as amazing as the photos, but trust me... it is even more beautiful than you could imagine. I had high expectations that were absolutely surpassed. The happy hour in the desert was the highlight, but the visits to Paracas beaches, the secret oasis, the winery, and Huacachina sandboarding were also spectacular. It is a full weekend that makes the most of every minute.

Talking with other travelers in the days following our tour we realized that no other Paracas/Huacachina trip comes close to this one. No one else got the desert sunset happy hour or the secret oasis visit. Book with Peru Bucket List, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Peruvian hidden gem

I'm a Lima local and like most people from here, I've been to Paracas and Huacachina at least 50-100 times before, so I thought that I knew everything there was to know about these two places, but boy if I was wrong!

When I learned a while ago that Huacachina is man-made, it kind of lost a bit of its charm to me. Through a friend, I learned about this company and their trip to a hidden oasis, so I decided to check it out and it was a game changer, as I was finally able to check off the bucket list an item that seemed nearly impossible to achieve: "swim in a real, natural oasis". Not only that, but this place is so secluded that the peace and serenity I felt almost brought me to tears. If you're a traveler who lives for special moments then my personal advise is, book it, you won't regret it!!

A great daytrip

Had a fun trip with the team. Sea lion watching, pisco tasting and sandboarding. A day full of activities, everything perfectly organised!
