I went in to get worming tablets for a 5-6 month old cat. Upon arriving I asked the girl behind the counter if she had any ear drops. She brought some bottles and asked what the problem was. I suspect ear mites and so I wanted to see if there were any drops with ingredients that might soothe the itching until I see the vets. She proceeded to lecture me on the ear drops as if I were illiterate and when I asked to actually see the bottle myself she scoffed and became offended. I then just asked her for worming tablets as I was going to find what I needed elsewhere, to which she tried to upsell me the €30 liquid ivermectin solution instead of giving me the €6 cat worming tablets that I asked for. When I pointed to the worming tablets that I wanted to purchase she then proclaimed in front of the other customers that because she knows the cat is 6 months old, she doesn’t feel comfortable selling me the tablets. I am a fourth year Animal Science student with years of experience dealing with all different types of animals over the years and so I know the correct dosage amounts and how to administer medication correctly.

In all my years I’ve never had a situation where I have had to explain to a cashier why I am purchasing worming tablets, let alone battle with their ego and unsolicited advice. I won’t be recommending this shop to any of my clients, in fact I’ll be doing the opposite. Insulting to say the least.

Delivery was really quick (less than 48 hours for an order I’ve placed quite late in the evening, chapeau!) and I am really satisfied.

This review is for the online service. I ordered a komodo ceramic lamp on Wed 16th April. The following Wed, per the tracker, the item was yet to be handed to their courier. I emailed pet bliss that evening and filled in the online form on their website asking to cancel and for a refund, never heard a word from anyone. FYI I contacted another irish company on the Saturday and had the item the next Tuesday, noting Mon was a bank Holiday. Appalling service from pet bliss online.

I recently made a large order of live insects for my bearded dragon. The package arrived the day after ordering but the courier had completely smashed the box and the insects were all smushed and dead. I called pet bliss right away and they were so apologetic and resent my full order the same day and the replacement arrived 2 days later in extensive packaging to prevent any damage in transit.

No extra charged and everything was fully replaced. Healthy insects and no complaints at all.

Their immediate action to this issue was amazing. Would highly recommend and will be ordering again!

Tried to place an order, sent me to video to upgrade, took my money even though item was not ordered

Pet Bliss is a nice shop but they don't treat there animals probally and overuse on female rabbits for babbies.I have experinced this today as my own rabbit has sadly died due to a heart problem I then contacted another customer who had the same problem and was devistated on the lose. I Really think pet bliss should show a little consideration to the animals and not just lock them up in a cages for the rest of their lives.And leave the mother to rest

First order of locusts was delayed. Tried them again and Second order took 3 emails and 2 phone calls to get delivered. Then half show up dead.

Despite contacting Pet Bliss a number of times over past 18months about their packing of items resulting in dented tins, which as we all know are a health hazard....they still send out orders not packed properly...this time nearly every tin of 36 was damaged. The tins had just been thrown into an oversized box

Second time ordering with then 1 time take 4 days the second time I ordered 6 box large of crickets they send 5 large and one medium, disappointing

5 stars well deserved! I ordered online and it was delivered 2 days after I placed my order, as promised. Everything came well packed and in perfect condition. Everything I ordered was amazing value and so worth it. It also feels great to be supporting an Irish business. I am delighted with everything and will definitely be returning to Pet Bliss to buy again in the future.

I ordered live mealworms online.

They shipped in good time via GLS and delivery was fast.

BUT, I ordered two tubs and one arrived in great health whilst the other was literally half full of long (and very obviously) dead worms. Since they were in the same shipping container and were shipped at the same time under the same conditions, the problem was clearly with pet-bliss rather than the courier.

Hopefully, I won't need to order from them again since the half that lived seem to be doing well.

Seamus served me today and he was so helpfull, everytime I go to pet bless he is always ready to help the costumers. He carried my big bag off dog nuts to my car for me.Always good manners towards people .so thank you Seamus for all you do . I'd highly recommend pet bliss shop to all my friends and family.

Visited pet bliss Dundalk store today looking new harnesses and collars along with other dog essentials. Seamus was extremely friendly and very informative and went above and beyond to assist with sizing and recommendations! Highly recommend will definitely be back!

I've been dealing with the Dundalk branch for a few months now. I find the staff friendly and more than helpful. They will gladly spend time advising pet owners about any queries they might have.

I ordered some items online, and they were delivered promptly. Good service.

Ordered a dog toy (rabbit plushy) and it was already torn between the head and neck when I opened the package. Sent them an email about it, but never heard back. 😔

One would think a 50% refund would be fair?

Very good company to deal with online. Have bought items from them twice since the lockdown began and very good prices and very quick delivery. Will be using again. In addition for some of the items I was looking for, way better prices than on Amazon. Good to buy Irish especially at this time.
