Been homeless since 2020 and have been given the run around by the council, was told that my deposit and rent would be paid for but it seems that this council just frobs you off just to get you off the phone or get the interview over and out of the office then claims a job well dealt with! I am a disabled 48 year old and its not hard to believe why people in this city turn to drugs and alcohol it's because you can then use the facilities provided by the council but if you don't do either you get no help thats the reasons why this city is number 1 in the lists of the worst city in the uk! It used to be a beautiful city which has been run down by the governing bodies wgo refuse to except responsibility for the unfair rules in place and to think of the lists of my disabilities that are underwritten to go along with the cause for the neglect is astonishingly unsuitable for a suitable life to live! Experiencing the full neglect of the council first hand can make a man to turn to self harm or drugs and alcohol is a achievement for the council just to rid of life so they can claim that you was taken care of by being told that you are on your own but you're expenses will be taken care of time and time again and when you take the required steps to be told that nothing will be taken care of can have a certain effect on the greatest minds and the downfall of any caring and considerate person hence when looking around at the populations on the streets it won't be hard to believe how a great mind had turned to drugs and alcohol to numb the pain caused by the same council that has swore a oath to protect the community in itself encourages on the same path it creates only to be labelled as liable for any type of help and on this path comes a lifestyle of crime and trials which creates more advantages for the rich which cause more expense for the government and surprisingly we are told to wonder why there is no money for the needy and are told to appreciate the works of the council for the input of minimum effort in saving lives by causing harm to begin with! A total disaster which could be avoided by empathy and caused by corruption and a total shakedown needed to bring this city to it's original beauty again just like in the 90's when people used to flock here in the thousands rather than run from here in the hundreds by a council who refuse to take responsibility for the neglect which is seen as a job well done for not doing the job which they are paid fully for but cutting corners and affecting the lifespan of hard working individuals of a working era! Absolutely dispicable behaviour by a system we used to look up to when it used to create a example of a beautiful way of life to now creating a criminal empire and to think how these people can sleep at night by bleeding the country dry by diminishing responsibilities that puts food on they're tables and funds the good life they live by making the same citizens they have sworn to provide for a living hell!
