Peter Luke Designworks did an exceptional job designing and project managing the complete refurbishment/loft extension/side extension/basement conversion on our Victorian Townhouse in Wandsworth!

We went from a ~180sqm 4-bedroom/2-bathrooom house, to a ~230sqm 5-bedroom/4-bathroom house with Peter’s help. This was a year long project starting with drawings and planning for the new loft and side extension, in which Peter brought many clever and thoughtful design ideas to the table, while fully listening to our vision and adapting designs in iterations to find the right plan for us. He fully handled the planning permission process for us, which got us approval without any requirements to make changes. His wealth of experience was of huge value to us throughout! He ran a highly competitive builders’ tender, which meant that we got an excellent builder for a good price. He accompanied us every step of the way, being able to share recommendations for each of the thousands of fixtures and fittings required for the house, providing design advice while again fully embracing our taste and vision for the house. His project management was excellent and meant that so many little issues / mistakes in the build were caught early and dealt with directly. This minimised extra costs as well as stress for us. Without Peter we, both full time working with a small kid, would have never been able to do the renovation project.

The final product is a stunning, modern yet traditional house, built to an exceptional standard. We can wholeheartedly recommend working with Peter, who not only does a wonderful job, but it also such a nice person and incredibly pleasant to work with! Thank you very much Peter for everything.

I initially asked him to redesign and attain planning approval for the complete gutting and refurbishment of an old Victorian house. Once this was achieved, without applying any pressure, Peter offered his services to project manage the build period. Having agreed a price upfront, he managed the build in an effective and organized manner. This facilitated me focusing on my job while only having the things which actually required my input being brought to my attention. Not alone this but he always came with suggested solutions to the issues / options for me to choose from.

I'm delighted with the service Peter provided and would highly recommend him to anyone interested in achieving the best design, planning and / or project management possible (and enjoy the process along the way)!

Excellent architect and designer. This is the second project I have worked on together with Peter, and once again I am delighted with the results. The project was to convert and update a country cottage into a modern home, whilst maintaining the architectural aesthetic and garden cottage feel. Peter did a first rate job and I would highly recommend him.

Peter helped me with the design and thinking of an additional bathroom and removing structural walls elsewhere, in addition to a loft conversion.
I was impressed by his ideas, his experience with similar work and he’s dedication to get the job done by providing the support as and when I needed it (particular at short notice!).
Do I trust Peter to do a quality piece of work as requested? Absolutely. Looking forward to working with him again in the future.

I had some questions about a property which I was interested in buying and Peter looked into it for free of charge as he was in the area. He called me to go through his findings in detail. Peter also advised me on potential solutions. Excellent service!!

Peter acted as our surveyor for the works that we needed approved in our split-level flat. He was extremely helpful throughout the process and also recommended a builder to complete the works who was an absolute diamond! Highly recommend

Peter has been the architect on my new flat, and I have never felt in safer hands. He worked tirelessly with the planning and not too easy neighbours, to get through everything and more that I could have wished for.
I couldn't have wanted more from him, nothing was too big or too small a problem, which he dealt with meticulously and calmly and incredibly professionally.
