This was a very fun journey for me and i learnt alot of new things that helped me get my sound to a professional level. One thing that was a bit annoying is that the level (ie g2 producer/Dj ) were lo... See more

I started this back when it first started..I watched all the videos and thought it was cool. Then a couple years later I checked back and it is updated and so much more opportunity available.
In 5 Stars, I have to give 3, because just a little 5 & 6.1.2 things. When they give us the opportunity to share our work, they only want hear in certain way Soundcloud links, witch is unfair because that are other music platforms like Hearthis.at that can be similar as Soundcloud. The second thing is that when I make my first investment, I almost finished the Course Dj in the beginning of the Academy, which is the same or almost the same right now! So, I have to do TWICE the Dj Course! The diference is that we have a Module of Production's Course among others Module to grow up as an Dj/Artist/Producer. The 3rd thing is that when we do the Quiz exercises and we give the wrong answer, the module programe should give us the right answer! The 4 thing is the Final Dj Exam, in spite of we can submitted again in case of Negative score, we still don't know which are the wrong answers we done, in order to choose the right one and submit again! And 6.1.2 thing... 2026 Ibiza Dj Talent Pool, the School is already choosing Djs, before the deadline date video submission and if we support them with LOGOS have to ask their permission, also the exercises don't count to the final note! The rest... The Academy is an OPEN DOOR to our dream come true, if we have the lucky to be choose in spite of our work not be so much perfect. If the Academy choose us by the music we pass and not look so much to some error or even our look that could not impress at all, I´m shure that the people is doing right investment. And 99 euros per Year with discount to be a student from a while time ago, is a very nice price that people shouldn't miss!
No words can even explain the Phenomenal Experience I am having
Incredible resource of information on various subjects for the music industry.
The community is second to none, and the tutors are very encouraging, and the feedback is great.
This service aims to take a bedroom DJ and give them the skills to progress in a career that spans not only the UK but globally.
Too many resources to mention, and the deals for the students are very impressive.
I recently purchased this course for $100.
I like how the website looks and the overall idea of creating a community, but to be honest, I really dislike the way the lessons are structured.
There is a lot of “not that important” talking, with guest DJs discussing topics that don’t actually teach *how to do the work*. For instance, I believe it was Chapter 3 where there were 5–6 videos of different DJs talking for about five minutes each about where they collect their music. Meanwhile, the much more important lesson about understanding BPM was only four minutes long and extremely poorly explained for beginners.
Yes, they offer some AI help if you want to ask questions, but as a beginner, I want to spend my time actually learning the basics: music terminology, how the controller works (which was explained very poorly), what key is, what tempo is, what a 4-beat exit is, and other fundamental concepts. Instead, I’m spending a lot of time listening to people talk about whether they use Beatport, Spotify, or SoundCloud to find tracks or Carl Cox explaining body language during playing sets. -_-
Overall, I wish I could get my money back and spend it on another platform. However, based on their replies to other reviews, I don’t think that will be possible.
Pete Tong lessons are so weak, his energy is low, his ability to transfer information is zero.
The only person I found there interesting enough and capable of teaching me something is Italian DJ.
I do not recommend this academy and I regret not following advice from Reddit community where everyone said the same thing I wrote here.
My experience with PTDJA has been the best of any of the other programs I have completed. I have done 3 other programs and this one far exceeds with how thorough and interactive the community is as well as the amount of networking and gig opportunities available to us! I highly recommend!
Incredible community, a place where I feel safe to express myself and learn. Awesome too because there are so many opportunities and people to collab with. I also love the hosted workshops and events. So grateful for this platform, thank you to everyone who is a part of making it happen.
This is a great place to connect and share with the world, wherever you are—whether lost in the mountains or anywhere else on Earth. Since I joined, I have met many people to speak with and visit nearby. It’s really motivational and encouraging to keep going.
It’s a very interesting platform to explore, especially for the quality of the courses. It opens up a new aspect of music in a very understandable way. The techniques are presented by professionals who have searched and struggled for years to discover tricks, and they just want to share their knowledge. We are lucky to be here and make the most of it. That’s the reason I joined first.
Then I discovered many more aspects. People help each other, and the level differences among students are big—some have 30 years of experience, some none. The only point I would suggest to improve the platform is: recording videos for beginners during exercises. That would help visualize the concepts. Of course, we still need to dig in ourselves—it’s our passion.
In conclusion: there is space for everyone in a very respectful and friendly way. There is definitely a great team working hard to provide access to as many of us as possible. So Big Thanks :)
Organization, resources and the content of courses are all great!
I recommend for beginners or experienced djs end producers.
Pete Tong Academy has been brilliant for developing my DJ skills and confidence. The course structure is clear, professional, and well thought out, whether you’re refining existing skills or building a solid foundation from scratch.
The tutors are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping you progress. Concepts are explained in a way that actually makes sense, with practical guidance that you can immediately apply behind the decks. The feedback and mentoring have been especially valuable in improving my mixing, track selection, and overall understanding of DJing.
What really stands out is how motivating and encouraging the experience has been — it’s not just about learning techniques, but about developing your own style and confidence as a DJ. I’ve come away with far more clarity, skill, and enthusiasm than when I started.
I’d highly recommend Pete Tong Academy to anyone serious about improving their DJ experience and learning in a professional, supportive environment.
Producing for years. I felt a real improvement following the courses. Both basics and advanced technics are helpful. I took the full package, with mix and mastering courses and it changed my vision in many ways.
Thanks guys !
Learning from the pros on pro gear helped a TON! gave me some insight and confidence to try new things in the FX realm as well as as well as a ton of technical insight. I can totally see and hear the changes that these courses have given!
Excellent community and people that not only help you learn, but they also help you grow in your career if that's the route you choose to go. Alex, Pete, Carl, Diplo, plus many other super talented people to help you get where you want to go with production and DJ'ing. Excellent course!
I have been tip toeing around the edges of producing for many years now. I would get into it and then I would stop and let life get in the way. Also didn't have any real guidance or path to follow so my limiting beliefs would get in the way around my own ability and financial situation.
I thought my path was in another direction until the Pete Tong DJ Academy popped up on my IG feed and when I saw the kind of deal they had on offer I realised I had purchased the course without even really thinking about it... Yes it was an impulse and WOW am I glad about that.
In the short time I have bee part of the academy I have learned so much and I have barely scratched the surface. The structure of the course is great and prevents overwhelm or rushing ahead. Instructors are top class DJ producers, the community is alive and super supportive and helpful.
There is so much resource and knowledge in this Academy. I am really excited for this revived journey into producing music.
PTDJA has really helped give me the step-up I was looking for with my DJing, as well as a really solid foundation for getting into production. Super helpful and awesome community.
Before I joined PTDJA, there was very little known in technical knowledge when it came to music production.
Upon completeing only the production courses I'm more confient when talking to other artists and in my own creation. from Ideas to building well defined projects using what I've learned form Alex T. Diplo, Parisi, and Ame.
What I love the most about the PTDJA is the ease of understanding, not overwhelming, and the ability to get an insight into other producers' process of creating music.
My goal is to create music to give back to the world for what it has given me throughout my life. I'm very grateful for the education and applying the skills with local artists, also for myself with my music to come.
The community at PTDJA is very welcoming and helpful. I'm excited to apply to the to the oppportunitoes in the future with my own music.
Thank you again.
kind regards,
Chris D.
The experience I've had during the course has been incredible and every day I learn something different from it... I am grateful to the course organizers and for their dedication.
It's a great platform to consolidate your knowledge.
Also the resources they give are very useful!
The video courses are well made and we really learned a lot of new things during the 2 courses. The site is also easy to use and with the weekly live sessions and channel updates you really feel part of a community.
