I have been with Pet First for many years and have also use other insurers. Pet First provides excellent service and response.

I can't say enough good things about Pet First Heatlh insurance. They've really come through when I needed them to. I have 2 dogs (12 amd 9 years old). Both of them have been covered through Pet First for 6+ years and in that time my older dog has had 3 bladder stone surgeries and my younger one had a broken hind leg. The surgeries are expensive and after every one of them I was always afraid my insurance claims would be declined but Pet First always paid out as promised.

I would recommend pet insurance to all dog and cat owners. After discovering a lump on my dogs abdomen I panicked; unfortunately it was Friday night. Worried it could be something serious I decided to visit the only vet open on the weekend. Luckily the diagnosis was negative and Trix is doing great, but this diagnosis was expensive. I was happy for the coverage provided by PetFirst to reimburse 90% of my veterinary visit. It was a relief to submit my claim form and receive a check 8 days later. PetFirst took away the worry for the expense so I could worry about Trix.

I am very happy with PetFirst , for they have always come through when I have needed them, they pay off very fast. When I call with a question they are very helpful and always answer my question. I could not ask for a better company to be with, I have my second dog with them now.

I use to recommend PetFirst 100% to everyone that would listen. They were quick, easy to get things processed, no hassle. Now there is a lot more requests for additional documentation, but they don't call the vet for it. So, I call the vet, vet faxes, then Petfirst doesn't get the fax. Definitely not as satisfied as I was the last few years. Still a good company, but I wonder for how long.

I have had PetFirst on my Black Lab for the last 5 years & will continue to carry it until he passes. It's Peace of mind for me to treat him for any illnesses or injuries, & not leave it to my pocketbook to decide. I highly recommend PetFirst to anyone!

Our dog, Lillie, a 9-year-old Westie, has been covered by PetFirst Pet Insurance from the day we got her. We've had 2 major claims--one when she was 1-year-old and developed bladder stones that required emergency surgery and a second this past year when she needed treatent for skin cancer. She has recovered from both, thank goodness. PetFirst processed both claims promptly and covered 90% of our expenses after the $100 per incident deductible. PetFirst gives you peace of mind so you won't have to choose between treating your sick pet and avoiding financial hardship.

i am a senior on a fixed income and have 2 dogs one is a rescue. i am happy they have kept there prices down
Petfirst has always paid with no questions asked they are a very reliable company, and I have been with them many years.

I'm not happy with their lack of coverage. My recently rescued cats both came down with tapeworms and then Giardia. Both claims were denied!!! Apparently they consider those preventable conditions, even though they'd been dewormed by the rescue. Since when is Giardia preventable? $800 in vet bills and medicine and they approved only $168 for ear infection. Don't waste your money!

I have had great experiences with Pet First for the last 6 years. The coverage is well worth the money and claims are processed in a very timely manner. Highly recommend to anyone looking for Pet Insurance.

Responds quickly to problems with little delay.

My dog is very adventurous & had a couple accidents in his early years. That's when I decided to get pet insurance. Had another insurance but it wasn't worth having. Petfirst came recommended and it was very affordable & still is as my dog has matured. I would recommend Petfirst with all the different plans, there is one to fit every budget & need that will cover your pet's need.

I have always counted on PetFirst to provide the best health care to my pets, especially to my senior Killa who passed away in March 2016. I would not have been able to help her so much without the insurance. The claims are processed in time, they are clearly explained. I have never had to negotiate or beg for any claim.

PF worked with my labs doctors and covered evry bit(less deductibles) on time and no questions asked.Called several times to discuss on going treatments and their help desk was so helpful and attentive .
I was leary at first with pet insurance and now it was the smartest thing I have ever done.

I never had want problems when making any claims. Their customer service are very helpful. Claims are fast within reasonable time or even less.

I never had a problem with the company. They always reimbursed the expenses covered by the policy promptly. Then my dog got cancer and they reimbursed a big portion of the expenses. I would recommend this company to all pet owners.
