Disliked the outrageous hike in renewal price. Alfie’s insurance jumped by £164. I called. I was given a discount when I mentioned moving to another provider I removed travel / health insurance .
Increase now £50.
I challenged operator when they said we can’t tell you why it’s increased.
I asked; can’t tell or won’t tell.
Person on phone has no script for such a question.
Actuaries have done this and it’s a very secret process. 🤬
It’s astonishing how they get away with this secretive process.
It’s the lack of legal and factual transparency that’s iniquitous.

Really easy process
Really easy process. I have a pet with a pre-existing condition, and trying to find insurance that doesn't cost the earth can be a mind field.
It was so easy to do with Petgevity. Input my pets details, also made it a multi-pet policy and what the condition is and got a quote straight away. No, you need to call to discuss, no hidden extra's.
The price is almost £40 cheaper than my last policy with another company.

I moved my boys pet insurance over to petgevity, hadn't heard of them but they have been amazing, I've had to claim a couple of times and they paid out no problems, which I always worry about with a direct claim, Vets was happy with them as well
