I have only used this location for their day camp and boarding but thus far I have had an amazing experience with both. I have a husky that is tough to keep up with and I wish I had started sending her to day camp earlier. Even just once a week has improved her behavior as she has spent all of her excess energy and is much more relaxed when home.

This place is excellent! Professional, friendly and always attentive.

We are first time customers at Pet Paradise and had a great experience! We were missing some vaccination information and they were able to contact our vet and get all of the records with no issues. I loved that they called after we were home to check in on the pups. My only feedback is the description/pricing for some of the services is misleading and I wish I would have had more information. For example, for the grooming services, I had no idea that a "go home bath" was going to be $45-$50. Maybe I missed that in the price breakdown but the whole booking site was so difficult to use that I was not sure what the pricing was for each service. And on that note, I paid for extra play time but did not know that other dogs would be bringing in their own toys and I had put that one of my dogs has toy guarding tendencies so then he had individual play time instead of group play time. I was completely fine from a safety perspective to take my dog out of that situation, but I wish I would have known that toys were involved in play time so that I would not have expected my dog to play with others. Overall, good experience and will go back but I am going to confirm all of the pricing next time.

I don't need to worry leaving my dog whenever I have business travels . Pet paradise has my back! While I am enjoying my travels, I know my pet is also having a good time and being taken good care of.

Our loving Golden-Doodle did doggie day care, boarding and grooming with the Charlotte-Matthews location. He was always excited to get there and in great behavior when it was time to go.
Samson moved to Wilmington and we automatically looked for a Pet Paradise there. We scheduled Samson for grooming on Friday, December 18, 2020 (3 pm) with the Wilmington location.
The morning after grooming, we noticed Samson's upper lip was very swollen and irritated all the way across (uniform to the hair cut). (His injuries include cuts or burns to lip, elbow, belly and paw.) My daughter called and the staff said Samson received 5 stars for his grooming behavior and advised her that it could be bee stings (at this time of year) and to put a cream on it. This was unacceptable and I called to speak with him. The staff member (not a vet) stated that he gave that recommendation arbitrarily. Nor did he offer any compassion or support. I asked then to speak with a manager. He said that the General Manager would be in around 11 am. When I received a call back it was well past 11 am (around 2:30-3 pm) and it was not the GM. Again, that staff member was not compassionate. Rather she was dismissive and said see what a vet says. Again, no offer of support, refund, compassion, etc.

Your commitment states that you proudly guarantee providing a safe, clean and fun environment. That anything less is not Pet Paradise. That your staff is attentive and passionate about pets and will go the extra mile to ensure that my pet has a safe and enjoyable time. You also acknowledge that trust is something earned.

Well, I strongly state that this is not the character or commitment of the Wilmington, NC location. I am sure that Dr. Jaime Pickett, your Chief Veterinary Office would be glad to see how pets and their family’s are treated at the Wilmington location.

The prices are reasonable and they offer top-notch service! I have wanted to take my dogs to a vacation by taking them to a dog-sitting business. Pet Paradise did not disappoint! The prices are also cheap considering the nice service they gave my dogs. I will definitely take my dogs to them again!

If your busy and you needed someone to take care of your pet for awhile, go with Pet Paradise. They will give your pet a vacation experience like no other.
