I run a small dog rescue and have found that when re-registering micro chips PETtrac is by far the most user friendly system and the most helpful on the phone. I wish all chip companies were so helpful and easy to use.

Excellent customer service, new website is user friendly and the team took in my feedback and added what I wanted within 24hrs. I couldn't be happier.

I find it so frustrating that we can't register all our chips through PETtrac as their services really are way above the competition.

Best feature has to be the ability to dual-register microchips. It's like a whole new level of peace of mind when we rehome cats and has proved helpful regularly!

The PETtrac database has great functionality which is extremely user friendly. Navigating around the site is easy and getting ID chips registered or checking details can be done with ease. With it's bright and bold colours and fonts, this website is aesthetically pleasing. On occasions, where I have needed additional assistance, I have always found the PETtrac team helpful and professional.

We use this microchip database regularly in our rescue. The database/website is very easy to navigate and use, and they have a dual registration option for peace of mind. They also have the option to register cats from the same litter to the same owner, which saves a lot of time inputting data. We give Pettrac the thumbs up.

As a registered charity who strives to reunite stray dogs with their owners, Stray Aid is very grateful for the excellent service provided by PETtrac. Some of the other databases are a nightmare, especially out of hours. With PETtrac, we can access owner details online 24 hours a day. Likewise registering new owner details when dogs are not claimed and are transferred for rehoming is very straightforward. Any issues that may arise are dealt with promptly. First class service!

Had to sort out a new email address and update the mobile number to link one of my dogs. couldn't have been more helpful unlike a large rival pet database which has made me greyer

We've had our 3 cats registered on PETtrac and I can't praise them enough for their customer service. Quick and straightforward when I needed to change my name after I got married.

We Have used avid microchips for years. Can we get cheaper microchips? Yes, but we choose not to for the following reasons.
The chips are extremely reliable and excellent quality.
The support from Richard and Avid as a company is second to none. Any queries, questions, help or advice especially about changing details for pet or owner as is available as soon as you call or email. Orders are sent really quickly, which is great when if you’re working in a busy veterinary practice and realise you’re down to your last microchip!
Registration is so easy, and also easy for clients / breeders to set up and change owners details. Lost or found pets are easy to find registered details for very easily.
I would 100% recommend Avid microchips and the PetTrac database.

Berwick Animal Rescue Kennels have been using UK PetTrac Database (Avid) and their chips for over 10 years and during that time their service has always been exemplary. Delivery is always prompt (usually the next day). They have repaired scanners when they get launched into the air for numerous reasons. Registering the chips is so simple and straight forward and if you make a mistake and realise after you press the button, a quick phone call and the problem is sorted out. We do not often have to contact them, regarding chips, by phone as the ease of use of their online platform using sorts most problems, but if we do have to ring them, answering is prompt and efficient. Re registering chips, which can be a nightmare with other companies, is straightforward too. Throughout the whole process confirmation of what is happening is always clear. There is a dual registration option so chips can be registered in new owners names as well as a back up of the rescue. Throughout the years we have had many animals turn up with “mysterious” chip numbers. Avid are the only ones who will keep going until it’s been sorted. They have helped up with the registration (and tracing) of overseas chips. Their prices are always excellent. Our main hope if we ever get to a one site has all microchip data is that it uses the UK PetTrac platform.

We have used the PETtrack Database for many years at Hope Rescue, and find it the most easy to use with excellent support.

I always find Avid one of the easier chip companies to work with. Their website is easy to use and if you do need to speak to them calls are answered quickly and they are always very helpful.

As a Charity we have used Avid Pettrac for a number of years. Before the legislation requiring all dogs to be microchipped we had our own trained chippers who found them very helpful. We have found that we no longer need this service but once I got my head around it the online registration and transfer of chips to new keepers is relatively simple. Whenever I have hit a snag they have always been very helpful

We have used PETtrac now for a number of years for our animal sanctuary. Ordering the chips has always been easy and fast delivery. Any problems we have had with registering or changing chip details over, the staff have always been friendly and helpful.
We use the mini chips which are nice and easy to use.

I've ordered my Microchips for a few years now from them, the service is quick and easy , next day delivery usually. I manage a cat rescue so always need new supplies, I receive them packaged well.
Friendly ,helpful staff always deal with my order with a pleasant manner.
