Last Christmas I ordered two separate photobooks. One arrived and one did not. In January I contacted Jessops. It transpired they thought only one book had been ordered, eventually finding the seco... See more

2020 calendar online
Ordered 2020 calendar online and picked up from local store. Ridiculous rendering of dates for March and August whereby 31st of both months appear on first row (before 1st date) instead of creating a new row below 29th or 30th. 31st should be at the bottom, not the top. Asked for contact details for supervisor/manager to discuss but request ignored.
Very disappointed - do not order online print service!
I made two orders as part of Christmas presents for this year and upon receiving my paid orders, I am very disappointed with the quality of product from Jessops Aberdeen. My partner collected one for the me and the quality was so poor he didn't take it away with him as he didn't realised I had paid for it. When he realised I had he walked back to the shop to ask for a refund which had not been offered by the staff. I also ordered over 200 6x4 prints (costing over £18) using the online service to make up a photo album as a gift of our summer travels. I have just put the album together to find there are a lot of the photos I ordered missing and the quality of what has been printed is not great. I used to work in a photo lab and realise the quality of photos can be affected by various factors. However, these were taken on a good camera and were uploaded directly from this device used to take the photos. Two Christmas presents ruined - I am not happy with this given the amount I paid and will not be using Jessops service again.
Appalling customer care yet again
Appalling customer care yet again - I don't know why I went back. Used their photo album service because 1/2 price offer - but this does not happen automatically, you have to search for a code on the website which being quite late at night I missed. This is clearly a strategy. Phoned first thing next morning but unwilling to help, would not apply code after the event, would not allow me to cancel and re-order. I would not mind but it was not a small amount involved. Jess who I spoke to would not put me though to her managers and would not give me a name to contact, eventually she cut me off - and I was been very polite so did not deserve this. Contacted again through their customer services email - to date this has been ignored. This is not my first bad experience with Jessops but definitely my last - will never use again, not even the shops for my camera purchases.
Photo Prints have changed
Jessops have obviously changed their Photo print partners? No index no photo numbers or dates and slower. No emails to say they are coming. Print quality is ok but the extras aren’t there. I didn’t find the upload programme very User friendly. Was one of the best for straight photo printing in bulk. (We send about 3000 a year ) Now a bit average. Might try others
If I could give zero stars I would
Terrible customer service. I ordered online and have only received part of my order and have been told 'the store is sending it out in the post' .... What store?? I've been told this twice now and 10 days later still not received all of my order even though i was advised 1 to 2 days!! When you get through to their customer service department they are very robotic and jobsworth! Having spent close to £2k with Jessops I regret ever having dealt with them! It's a real shame as my local store are great and they even get frustrated when phoning Jessops customer service.
I will NEVER buy from Jessops online again!
Wasted my time for hours
Wasted my time for hours on there damn website trying to create a photobook. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME. Terrible website.
Exhibition ruined, never go near this company.
Order for 13 photos in 12x8 format to be printed using their "3-5 day service"made on 9/10/19. It is now 22/10/19 and still not received, email sent asking for details and to be updated. Reply received and told someone would be in touch, after 48 hours nothing. I've now phoned customer service and informed them to speak with PayPal as I have now had to raise a dispute in order to get a refund.
These prints maybe were of no meaning to Jessops but they had meaning to me for an exhibition, the lack of communication and effort is shocking but what with Jessops facing financial administration is sadly no surprise.
I will never use this company for anything ever again, and will spread the word to anyone and everyone in order to help them avoid this joke of a company.
Anyone interested in using Jessops Photo for a service be prepared for ludicrously slow delivery times of the likes you have never imagined, total brain-dead airheads on the Live Chat and over the phone, no communication, no effort.
Also why has there been no follow up regarding ANY of the negative reviews left on this website?
You have been warned!
takes 2 weeks to deliver some simple photos...
To be honest, I really wish I had read more of the previous reviews...
To take almost two weeks to print and deliver some simple 12x8 photos is pathetic, the quality is not always true to the colours in the original photo file uploaded. I have never had a problem printing in store, this service works very well however the online price is £1.50 whereas printing in store is four times that at £6.00... I will in future be using Photobox or look for another company.
Utterly useless and unhelpful
I ordered over 100 photo prints on 19th August. They hadn't arrived two weeks later so I contacted customer services who assured me they would contact the store and come back to me. Needless to say they didn't - three times. I continued to phone and they said they would reprint them (not interested in the fact that they had lost all the photos of my children). They then said they couldn't reprint them and I would have to add them all onto their website. I explained I couldn't as I had a new phone and all the photos were now only on their app and this would be too time consuming. I therefore asked them to credit/refund me so that I could repurchase them however they agreed to refund over two weeks ago and I have yet to receive any refund. I contacted them again today and received yet another basic email to say sorry for the delay and they would now process it and it will take 7-10 days. So I have now been waiting two months and still have nothing apart from unhelpful emails from them. I asked for a direct contact to complain too and this was not easily forthcoming and was then just given two names with no contact details. Shocking customer service and they don't appear to care less. Will not be ordering from there again that's for sure.
No integrity, honesty or consideration for customer care.
I bought a pair of binoculars from Jessops online late last year. They arrived the next day and were a good price.
So far, so good.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago. The binoculars became defective. As they were still within warranty, I contacted Jessops Customer Service to arrange a repair under warranty. The call handler informed me they couldn't be repaired, so I could have a new replacement pair. Once the old ones had been returned, the new pair would be dispatched immediately. There was no mention of being subject to stock availability. I opted to take the binoculars to my local Jessops branch (partly for the reassurance that once they had the binoculars, there can't be issues with them not being returned to the Head Office) The only alarm should have been, that the shop assistant was surprised Head Office had told me I could have a replacement pair and not a refund.
After a week of not hearing anything, I contacted Customer Services. I was informed that the replacement binoculars were not actually in stock, and I couldn't be given a time frame when they would be.
A simple call from Jessops when they realised this, would have been good customer services. When did they plan to tell me?
I looked online and found a pair at the same price from another company. I called Jessops Customer Services the next day to request if I could have a refund. I was told this wasn't a problem and I would be refunded within 3 - 5 working days and whilst I was on the line was told this had been authorised.
Fast forward 9 days, no refund received. I telephoned AGAIN and was told as the purchase had been through PayPal, they would arrange and immediate refund.
I hadn't been told this originally, so why did they tell me now? What happened to 3 - 5 working days?
I checked emails later that day to be told, as the refund was later than 6 months after the original purchase, I would have to be refunded via BACS.
I sent my bank details via email and also asked to confirm that payment would be immediately and not have to wait 3 - 5 days.
No refund by the following day so AGAIN I called Customer Services to be told the refund had been authorised and would be transferred within 3 - 5 working days. Heard this before?
No point getting giving the call handler grief as they are simply working from a crib sheet, so I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager. After being put on hold I was told there wasn't one available, but one would call me on the number I was calling from.
I specifically asked if it would be the same day to be assured it would.
I didn't get the courtesy of a call back. That is an honesty and integrity issue and an example to me of how little Jessops think of their customers. It should not take me 20 days to have my refund, apart from withholding my money unlawfully.
Take note Jessops, there are other company's providing the same products at as you for the same price. Keep up your disdain for customers and you will soon have no customer base.
Will I use or recommend Jessops gain?
NEVER.
Time wasters!
Order placed on 27th August. They don’t have a tracking system and i should wait for 2 weeks which is fine.
3 weeks later, i emailed them “where’s my print?” They replied “ Please may you confirm whether you have now received your photo order?”
Their customer service doesn’t have a clue! They don’t know if i have received it or not! They don’t even know where it’s?
That’s Ridiculous! Time wasters! Avoid and save your time and money :@
DO NOT give this company your money
DO NOT give this company your money. I was fed misinformation on multiple occasions by the customer service team and the store. I went in-store to buy a new camera and lenses where I was told by the assistant that my order would be delivered to me within 10 working days. After 10 working days had elapsed I called looking for an update and was told that they couldn’t give me an update on the delivery, they couldn’t advise me on what I should do and they couldn’t even cancel the order unless I went in store (not local to me).
3 days later I spoke to another representative who advised a delivery date which also turned out to be false as over one month later the order hadn’t arrived. Despite emails to customer service and regular phone calls chasing for an update I was left completely in the dark regarding my +£2k order and forced to go back to the store just to get the order cancelled and refunded.
This is the worst customer experience I’ve ever had, definitely stay away from this company.
Worst Customer Service Experience
This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I contacted Jessops through live chat and was told my photo book had been completed but not dispatched. I was told that Jessops would contact FUJIFILM to see what the issue is. They said I would receive a response from them the same day. I received nothing. The next day I emailed Jessops and was told a response would be 48 hrs. I waited 48hrs when my response arrived I was advised that customer service had passed my enquiry to photos customer service???? (Not sure why Jessops Photo can’t answer its customer service enquires) 4 days later and still no response!!! I have now been waiting for a month for a photo book that should have arrived within 10 days. Everyone concerned was happy to take my money but no one wishes to take ownership of their problems!!!
Dreadful Customer Service
Dreadful Customer Service
I ordered some standard prints through the click and collect service. They took my order and my payment, Then nothing... I contacted them through live chat and they apologised took my number and said someone would contact. No contact and they would not answer the phone - it rings and then hangs up.
I went round to the shop and on the second visit they offered to do my prints if I brought them on a usb. So I ended up going to the shop 3 times. I am stunned by their complete indifference to customer service.
Don't count on anything under 8 day delivery
Ordered 3 10X8 glossy prints on 1st July for collection in store. This is 2 to 10 day delivery. In my naivety I though should be 5ish working days.
9th July popped in to see if they were there. No and the assistant told me he would email me when they were in.
17th July phoned Jessops main number and told they were in the store!
22nd July, collected them today
Prints are very good, It just took so long
Ordered 6x4 prints of holiday photos…
Ordered 6x4 prints of holiday photos taken on a nikon d7200 and a Samsung s9plus. Prints all came back with vertical lines, looking like a 1980s tv screen capture. Also didnt even bother to tell me they were ready, stopped by on a whim 2 weeks later. No idea why they are so garbage but not worth chasing up. Will go to professionals in future.
Terrible service
Terrible service! terrible staff! used first time AND LAST TIME! The staff doesn't know they job at all ! unfriendly and useless !AVOID THIS PLACE!
Purchased Tasco Essentials 10x50 Porro…
Purchased Tasco Essentials 10x50 Porro Prism Binoculars to then find when they arrived at home, in very small print on the base of the packaging where no one would look was the following warning.
"Warning:This product contains chemicals known to the state of california to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm. "
Nowhere on the online page does it say about the risk of cancer or damage to my reproductive organs from the chemicals they made it from otherwise I would not have made the purchase
A bit disappointing.
The quality of the jigsaw was excellent, however I was disappointed that the vibrant colours of the original photo did not transfer to the finished product.
Useless service
Useless service. I had made an error with the details of the dispatch address and realised immediately after and sent an email to the customer support - received no reply after a few hours so decided to call. The response I got was that a 'request will be put in', not much hope in that. The 'Live Chat' believe that it can't be changed, once ordered the details are 'locked in' ! I have personally never heard of anything so stupid, when advance notice is given yet nothing is even attempted to be done about it. Last time I use Jessops for sure.
