They used an automatic renewal program to take my money without my consent. I requested a refund from the customer service center, but I was denied, and I am Korean.
I only do basic stuff that requires more than ms paint, cropping images, changing resolution and saving with reduced quality. Not going to pay the ripoff adobe prices for this. Takes up a lot less ro... See more

This is just, hard annoying to use, and half the time it doesn't even work properly
Free and great !
Damn, rating are very bad but it's free ! How can you complaine of something free, just be greatful that it exist. I use it for basic stuff and it work perfectly.
What a crap program
What a crap program. It is easy to use when you know photoshop. But when you continuously want to lose your complete files during savings over and over again, use photopea. I am completely done until they fix this!
i think that i might have just been scammed…
i think that i might have just been scammed and gave permission to my laptop and think that i regret that and i have also noticed that half of the 5 star reviews sound like bots so thats why i am giving this 1 star
atn actions do not work
atn actions do not work, unusable. It just looks like Photoshop, it doesn't work much.

this absolutely sucks and is hard to use , shows no way of learning how to use it at all i hope whoever created this loses their computing privileges
This app can suck my balls
This app can suck my balls. This app is the worst thing that happened to me besides me having four children.
laggy asf don’t recommend don’t use it
laggy asf don’t recommend don’t use it
Don't bother
Tried to use it, the screen fills with an advert that lasts about 30 seconds, goes away, then returns 5 seconds later. Becomes literally impossible to do anything.
Photopea more like Photo pee
First of all the image DIDN'T EVEN SAVE. We all tried, the whole neighbourhood tried to save it and it didn't. This is more pea than photo because that must be the size of the creators BRAIN. I hate photopea, stick to ANYTHING else. YOU SUCK!!!!!!
It looks like Photoshop but it doesn't…
It looks like Photoshop but it doesn't work. What a horrible program. I basically only need it to make backgrounds of pictures white but selecting a subject and reversing it is impossible most of the time. Not with the select background tool or the magic wand. Everything takes forever to load or and it crashes nonstop.
Amazing website
Amazing website, amazing photoshop alternative. Works great and super useful.
I only do basic stuff that requires…
I only do basic stuff that requires more than ms paint, cropping images, changing resolution and saving with reduced quality. Not going to pay the ripoff adobe prices for this. Takes up a lot less room and less resources than the full programs too and having web based is ultra convenient.
All the negative reviews - mate if you're doing artworking taking hours - just sign up to a full desktop suite or go back to paper.
Don't listen to the doughnuts
Whoever has given Photopea bad reviews is either a sh*te editor or just doesn't know how to use it - go use PAINT you doughnuts.
TIP: Learn how to use *Photoshop* on YouTube and you'll find all the tools are available on Photopea - some tools may be in different sections (like magic eraser).
I've used Photoshop before and so have learnt how to use tools and shortcuts while editing. I can say Photopea is pretty much 90% Photoshop! I use the same keyboard shortcuts to navigate my way around.
I have had no issues with saving .psd files and guess what... I haven't made any account or paid a single penny to Photopea!
Like alot of people, I just couldn't be bothered to do the whole free trial of Adobe Cloud etc.
Save yourself from heartbreak
Complete waste of time for any designer!
It's all well and good that they provide us a way to edit on chromebooks unlike photoshop but you will wate hours of your life on this garbage site.
I have now lost two pieces of work that have taken me hours HOURS! To make. You save your work and wait for the saving bar to complete and go and you close the software. Then low and behold your hours of hardwork are in a 0bytes file which cannot be opened. I am willing to except the first one was corrupted by me for closing too early but I've learnt from my mistakes and waited for the saving bar to complete just to be made a fool again by this awful website.
If you have access to photoshop on your device then please please use it. I know it can cost an arm and a leg but it is so worth it. Even a broken whiteboard and dried up pen is better then this platform of false hope.
*To the creators of this editing platform. Either do the decent thing and delete this app and save other designers from the heartbreak of losing their hard work or at the very least provide a restore option.
It's Literally the best thing happened…
It's Literally the best thing happened to me. As a hybrid Freelance Graphic designer constantly switching between different softwares and the data isn't synced properly. With photopea however, it has its own cloud storage and website you can be anywhere in the world and access your files. 10/10. And i forgot IT'S FREE!!!. The dev team has my massive respect. You can upgrade your storage plans for dirt cheap.
Lag rage from a photo editor?
I haven't experienced lag rage since dial up in the 90's until I decided to give this program a shot. Literal hours wasted and then the browser locked and I lost everything.
It looks like it should be a great program if it actually worked. I'm on a high end rig with excellent connectivity. If you're desperate and willing to sacrifice some of your sanity (and in my case a computer mouse that found its way to the other side of the room after realizing what a waste of an afternoon this program was) give it a shot. Me, I will give someone some money for a program that works as intended.
Life saver for those with low budget.
Life saver for those with low budget.
I'm so glad it excists, helped me out with so many projects, has all the options I would ever need, I recommend to everyone who wants to edit their pictures quick and free.
Photopea sucks
Photopea sucks. All they want is to show you dumb ads that disturb you and annoy. Now the update means they want to force you to show ads before they let you use their platform. They will now lose a ton of users, I'm one of them. Byeeee.
Absolutely unusable
Absolutely unusable. Essentially just a template of PS and that's it. Like, the software is absolutely unusable. It's just a visual template of a photo editing software. May as well just post a 1080 x 1920 png of the website template up on a domain and leave it at that. Would be more useful. Crashed my browsers so much it was insane no matter what tool I tried to use. I am on a brand new Microsoft Surface. It doesn't work and kept crashing my system just on a basic png. Tried it on both chrome and firefox. Like, just go away. Leave some space on the internet for something else. Useless.
