It takes awhile to get your first sale. It took me about 80 pictures to get there. However, I think if I can keep adding my best work, I will eventually get there. The platform is 10 times better than... See more

STAY AWAY! Not a single shot sold. Now I can’t login, and they just keep withdrawing money every month. I can’t quit my subscription.

It's actually a scam. Didn't sell at least one image. And they automatically renew the subscription for a complete year. Without any announcements or email. It's just an overpriced scam.

Picfair promise so much but actually offer nothing. You have to do everything for yourself while they take your money. It is just a glorified gallery. Then when it comes to renewal time, they don't email you, you will just find the money gone out of your bank. This of course will be three times more than what you initially paid when they promised the earth.
A complete waste of time and money. Just build a website and save your money

This company is a rip off.. They steal your money. I cancelled after having paid them for 6 months and NOT using their services. I set up a store but nothing came of it and I thought I had closed it in January but I didn't so I saw I was being charged and went online and cancelled again to make sure it was closed this time. When I looked the payment was still pending on my cc and I asked for maybe June and July refund but they refused to give me even July only or any type of refund because in their system it was completed. STAY AWAY. NOT WORTH IT!!
Wish I had read the reviews before creating an account. They've been charging me £9 a month for unpublished photos and account. I've asked for a refund, but they won't agree. I've deleted my account now. DO NOT USE.
I started with pic fair it said free selling site .I found out today they have taken £69.90 out of my bank since 2021 I had no idea as ive never been on the site for nearly 3 yrs .I gave my bank and card details incase I sold any images or at least that's what I thought.they have said its my banks problem not theirs.i don't know how it comes to £69.90 it wouldn't come to that if I had the top service I did ask them how but the didn't say.im going to find others this has happened to and look into it more.
This used to be a good site providing a stock photo sales service. Buyers could search for photos across all photographer's sites.
Now, it is just a site for individual photographers to host and sell their own photos - probably fine for that, but there are loads of other similar providers to choose from.
Just not worth your time or effort. Realistically you're just not going to sell anything, anytime you visit the Picfair website it's trying to drive you to subscribe, not show you anything that is on sale there or even a featured store.
Customer service is really poor, I was finding I had to raise a new ticket everytime I wanted to speak to someone. Replying to an existing ticket always led to no response.
As a platform it works ok.
However, the chances of sales are very very slim, unless of course you spend time and money promoting your site yourself.
Additionally your expensive subscription renews automatically for the next year with no notifications and they won't give you your money back.
Scam! Even when you don’t subscribe they auto subscribe you and charge you and refuse to refund you.
Clearly a scam! No refund, no contact information, no nothing. Don't subscribe!
i signed up believing the cost was $4.99/mo. that was only a one month discount price. ever since then it is $11.99/mo. so today i'm just checking out their website as if i wasn't a customer and seed they are charging $6.00/mo billed monthly or $5.00/mo billed annually, yet i am paying $11.99/mo still. i have had 10's of thousands of views and i have been doing photography successfully for decades. zero sales. i realize it is a self promotion gig, but why am i paying to sell pictures way below market value as commercially licensed photos when no commercial customers will find my pictures unless i do the sales work and give all the money to picfair? one might as well go door to door and keep the money for one's self.
Nope!!! Don't waste your time and money!
What a ridiculous website! Charged £90 for annual subscription which has no warning at all. I haven’t opened my account here for a long time and was just surprised I was deducted £90 on my bank account. I purchased around £30 last year for annual subscription but here one year later I haven’t even earned a single penny from this website ever! It’s a crappy website that’s why I don’t open it for a long time even forgetting I am still subscribed to this and no warning what so ever on the upcoming annual charge. They should have at least send an email for this amount of money to be charged soon out of courtesy. Such a crap website. Please don’t subscribe!
I was interested until I saw how many typos they have on their website and decided to read the reviews. Hard pass.
I paid the subscription, uploaded a lot of high quality pics. I lost a huge amount of time to complete every step of the description and hashtags. I set very low prices and linked the store to my Instagram business account and waited, and waited, and waited...
In one whole year not a single sale.
Don't waste your time. AVOID PICFAIR!
What an absolute waste of time and effort. Checked my bank today to find that they had taken this years subscription. No renewal notification or information about the price doubling. Absolute disgusting behaviour and no remorse for what they have done. If you ask for a refund they refuse saying that it’s only in the first 7 days and nothing about the fees doubling in year 2. Will never use these again and would advise anyone thinking about using PICFAIR to think again.
An efficient and reasonable platform on which to place ones work. It offers plenty of guidance, is mainly intuitive to use, and delivers. You do, of course, have to let your potential customers know your site exists - don't just sit back and expect the marketing to be done for you. That is something you have to work at. And yes, work has been sold to publishers and individuals.
Awful Company! Whatever you do, Don,t join! Don't be tempted by their welcome offer. I had the same images on Getty and I would sell over 50 a month. With this company ` Pic fair` No Sales...all year. They just entrice you to join up and that's how they make their money, not from your images.
