From the first call with Cameron, I felt a lot more confident about actually going ahead with it. The ongoing support from James, Faye and Shannon throughout getting my mortgage sorted and understanding the buying process was genuinely solid. Glynn has also been really helpful in explaining the different insurance options without overcomplicating things.
You could probably find cheaper mortgage advisors out there, but the level of support here makes a difference; you get what you pay for hands down. Having a full team involved, everything organised in one place on the dashboard, and regular updates made the whole process a lot smoother than I expected.
Overall, a really good experience, couldn’t really as for more to be honest, and I’d definitely recommend them.
I’ll be in touch in 5 years time when my fixed terms up 😉

I used Picnic as they are associated with Experian. The process was simple and the mortgage advisors were very knowledgeable and attentive.

Initially they seemed very professional but then everything end up in a nightmare
1. My mortgage advisor request a CML that was wrong and I had to contact an independent mortgage advisor from mortgage bureau that had a phone call with the lender and told has how to CML should look, because we send the wrong CML i got delay over one month
2. Secondly , I keep chasing for updates and looks like they never try to sort the issue, been waiting for 2 weeks since the last CML for a lender response and I asked specifically my mortgage advisor to give them a call because I was hoping to move this month , still no response he is ignoring my phone call and messages and as a result I have to move in accommodation
3. If the person assigned to my case is on holiday then no one will peak the case
4. On your first phone call you are promised a life time product but there is no document to state that, not that I would want it after this experience as I start the application ( to the lender ) at the end of January and in April there is no sign of it getting done anytime soon

The whole team that was assigned to me have been helpful and clear at explaining each process involved. The process was quicker and easier than I thought it would be so if your a first time buyer like me or even if your not, I couldn’t recommend picnic enough

A much needed held by the hand experience for myself who was a first time buyer. Navigating in regards to buying a home was made simple, easy and quick. Matt was helpful to the questions asked and kept us on track for what we were wanting. Genuinely, this was much less stressful and quicker than I had initially geared myself up for. They found a good deal, never felt I was over paying for anything, the team found me a great life insurance quote too and made it seem like a walk in the park.
5/5 stars for all involved, I would recommend.

Using the amazing Picnic team to broker and arrange everything concerning the purchase of my home was such an easy decision to make and we'll worth the fee...I had a few bumps on my journey (due to my accountant etc) but with the help of Chloe and Nicholas my mortgage was arranged. They have all been very helpful, informative, polite, professional and extremely supportive aswell as understanding of my situation. The portal has also been extremely important in receiving/sendingmessages and documents aswell as just 'touching base' with regular updates...very happy and over the moon with all the support I have received...keep up the good work

On the whole picnic have been very good, the initial calls were very easy and Layne from Insurance in particular was great. The website is easy to use. It has felt at times that I'm being passed off to someone else over and over, seems there's someone new for every stage but keeping with 1 or 2 would have felt better. As a result of this passing around one of our email addresses was set incorrectly resulting in some random member of the public being asked for pictures of my house, to which I had to ask twice for it to be amended. Also the automated daily messages to leave reviews is way too pushy and casts a shadow over all that is good.
