Good news

Unfortunately Pictorum have gone into liquidation. This has been a lengthy process for collectors not quite knowing what was happening with their investments.
Mathew has started a new company.
I had conversations last year with Mathew and to his credit has now been in touch to advise the return of my paintings. He has also a sale for one of my collection.
This is good news after a long time of not knowing!!
Thank you Mathew

Duped by Matthew and Jackson Navin

Matthew and Jackson promised to invest my money in artwork with a 6 months return with a good ROI, but never happened. Continuous follow ups via email and calls for months didn't yield any result so sent them a pre-action letter. I wish there was a way to combine our efforts to take legal action against them. Any suggestions?

Untrustworthy. Disrespectful. Foul Play.

I am an artist who has previously worked with this advisory and gallery. I waited over a year for payment for sold works. There were months where I has radio silence from the team or it was just excuse after excuse, despite having a consignment agreement and threatening with legal action. It's incredibly disheartening to an artist who pours their life into their work and relies on these payments as their livelihood. I'd rather have not made a sale than have 50% of the payment go to this incompetent, unprofessional team. To anyone reading this, please do not trust Matthew Navin, Pictorum, and whatever name he changes this advisory/gallery to in attempt to cover his back... If you are a serious art investor and want to support emerging artists, go directly to the artists or the hundreds of other galleries around the world which have a much more trustworthy reputation before handing over tens of thousands of pounds.

SCAMMERS

So my last review was in September, still no bill of sale confirmed despite requesting and Matthew Navin is no longer answering my husbands calls, its A Mansfield before a bs mail saying no investment in my name, just do not invest with these scammers, my husbands retirement fund, no update in 4 years … unbloodybelieveable how they get away with this 😡😡😡😡
Update Feb 1st - absolutely no change, not even access to TAGSMART to look at your supposed ‘investment’ if there is one way for a company to undermine a market , it would be this b****** company - where is our money Matthew Navin ?????

Failed to pay my buyback claim Painting not delivered as yet AND

I foolishly believed Jackson Navin when he created a timeline to repay me some six months after my claim for a refund which was agreed at inception.
I did not receive it. He wasted my time, and possibly lost my money.asked for the chance to sell it, and therefore asked me to change my Trustpilot review to enable that, and I did that too. Sadly, they did not have the funds to pay me because (IMHO) they are under- capitalised.
I still do not have the actual painting, although It is a good painting, and I have registered it as mine
Jackson lied to me and that is unforgivable, as is agreeing a payment and not paying it. RESEARCH THE COMPANY YOU INVEST WITH THOROUGHLY. Do not do what I did, I may need to take legal action to obtain my contractual rights, but I know these guys are working hard to turn the situation round, I certtainly want delivery of the actual painting

AVOID IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN !!

Despite my husband posting his review on 9th August, it actually prompted Matthew Navin to email us (after 17 unanswered calls) with a load of bs promises, working on a deal, bear with me etc etc (as we have done for the last 3 years) we were quite clear in our instructions, no access to Tag smart, appear to have no bill of sale relating to our artworks (husband stupidly bought several) .. oh he’s disappeared again since then, make your own mind up or steer clear …wish my husband had !!!! And before Pictorium say (standard response on a public forum) we don’t have any artworks in your name, yea it’s Mansfield and this is a 10000% factual review 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Pictorum Advisory 43 months late with sale of my portfolio

Firstly, I believe that 1 star is possibly 1 too many for this company based on my experience. I was persuaded to invest into Pictorum Capitis, now Pictorum Advisory ?,as opposed to other investment opportunities I was considering back in 2019 by Matthew Navin and his then assistant, Arsen. The words that convinced me were their promise of a 30% return, less fees, within 18 months. Technically, I should have received all of this in January 2021. However, the first and only sale so far ,was for only 1/6th of my portfolio value and did not happen until April 2023. Matthew has apologised numerous times for the delays and has also promised a greatly improved line of communication, alas this has not happened and I have been considering court
action for some time. Furthermore, the delay in the sale of my entire portfolio has greatly reduced the true value of the investment, once the steep rise in inflation is taken into account, over the the past 5 years. I have been forced to continue working as Pictorum have failed to sell the portfolio in a timely manner

UNACCEPTABLE !!!!!!!!!!

We invested in 2020, it was my part of my retirement pension and never a long term investment, one of the artworks sold however I have now been chasing for the balance for over 3 year to no avail, plenty of promises, to date in the last month I have called Matthew Navin 17, yes thats right 17 times but he now chooses to not answer my calls or texts, NEVER EVER again !!!!!! I left a review on another site and was actually threatened with legal action, we want OUR money back, oh and to save you saying we have no investment in your name, its A Mansfield, this is not a FAKE post, its my money that you continue to hold to ransom !!!!!!
Update 6th NOV - we received a call from Matthew after posting this review, promises, promises, as of today, since my review I have now called you a further 4 times which have all gone on unanswered, not even an answerphone - just avoid - this is a major stress I do not need - promised we would received an update - you can guess the rest - no money - no information - just a joke of a business

Genuine after all

Previously I had given a 1 star rating, because it couldnt go any lower, and warned the public for a scam. I had invested with the option to withdraw after one year, but when it came to that, it was not possible. Communication was poor, often ignored and it took 4 years before I received my refund. But fair is fair. Mathew did keep his word in the end. All the reasons the reasons and promises made which I deemed as tacticts to keep me 'hanging' proved in the end to be true. Hence I have now put a 4 star rating and want to share that after a couple of years I did get my investment back + the promised 5%. So fair play. Would I invest again? not sure.

Not so sure anymore

Having invested in early 2024, I am now attempting to get an up date as it appears the company is active but is being struck off. No comms from the company have come to me about this , I just happened to check. I have now emailed and asked for an update and to get my original deposit back. The communication is generally pretty poor and with the sums of money we are talking about, this is unacceptable.

We made our original investment 4 years…

We made our original investment 4 years ago and we now have seen the details of our portfolio, which has been spread across a variety of art work. We have been given a positive strategy to start receiving results from our investment and looking forward to the personal touch in the future.
Please ignore any of my previous comments.

Great company and returns thus far

I started my first investment with Pictorum last year and from the start, me and my partner have seen nothing but great customer service, exceptional investment advise and a consultant called James Thomas who understands our needs, expectations and timeframes. We have also gained a real understanding of art as not something to just appreciate the look of but more so to utilise as our now strongest investment vehicle we have over our properties and other assets.

Thank you again James and the whole Pictorum team for everything so far! Time to add more I suppose !!

Fantastic experience so far

Fantastic experience so far!

I just wanted to extend my gratitude in thanking James and everyone else in the team for their hard work so far.
James has helped me to understand the benefits of investing into art and educated me on everything I needed to know. They conduct themselves in the most professional manner, always keep me up to date and therefore I know I’m in good hands.
I attended a great exhibition in Mayfair they put on last week and although only starting not too long ago with the Pictorum Advisory team, I have met the whole team and fully understand their business model and have really high hopes for the future. I look forward to a long lasting relationship!

Thanks again

Excellent Job James!

James was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the on-boarding process and clearly has a passion for art, and vitally, being able to fluently communicate art's benefits to his clients. Thoroughly recommend James and look forward to future dialogue, purchases and sales!
