Story behind the name
In the early 1600s, Dutch explorers set sail to unknown parts of the world, eventually boasting the largest naval fleet on Earth. To protect themselves from bad luck, mariners inked tattoos of a pig and a hen on their feet because crates of pigs and hens were oftentimes the only items left floating after a shipwreck. The sailors believed a pig and hen tattoo would help them not only survive the strongest of storms, but also allow them to float back safely to their beloved homeland.

Beautiful Jewellery
Pig & Hen makes beautiful jewellery (especially so for men) - their pieces are great to wear and look fantastic. They're also very well constructed and robust. My latest bracelet is the best (a 6mm brontide) and it's adjustable so can be worn however you prefer (they're also available in different sizes too). What impressed me more was that there was a problem with the delivery (thanks, FedEx). I contacted Pig & Hen because of FedEx's failings and they (P&H) were very supportive and helpful. I will definitely be getting more pieces from them.

Lots of great designs
I like there are a variety of designs of these bracelets for men. It is simple and easy to order and made a great present for my husband. The only thing I would say is that they are easily prone to breaking.

Wrong item sent
I ordered a bangle for my partner for Christmas. It was supposed to be a solid silver coloured bangle with patina green inlay. When it arrived it was actually a black twisted material bracelet and clearly the wrong item.
A huge disappointment obviously as it was a gift.
On contacting your complaints department it was finally acknowledged to be your error, the correct item was sent but I was again charged postage git delivery!! An insult i feel as it was entirely your mistake.
