Currently going through having a…

Currently going through having a kitchen put in, planner done the planning wrong as I had a oven and grill and the plan said just oven so now Iam getting a larder that takes 4 weeks to come to I will have half a kitchen done.
They started the work 31st jan and ripped kitchen out and I have had no hot water in the house since then only hot water in the kitchen, and the date today is 13th Feb, I have called numerous times and nothing, it’s a good thing I have an electric shower.
They don’t communicate with each other meaning the carpenter and plumber, electrician don’t talk to each other to know who is to come and what is to do next. u leave messages with them and no one calls back, if they do it’s 2 days later or when you leave more than 2 messages. They don’t take instructions very well and they don’t keep you updated as to what they are doing. Very bad company to do work for you, I would not touch them with a barge pole.
Very disappointing, so angry with them.
DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Slow kitchen progress

So where do I start?!
Currently getting a kitchen fixed, dont know who’s coming or going most days. None of them speak any English so can’t even communicate
Been 3 weeks and not a lot of progress, supposed to be finished by this Friday but can’t see that happening! Currently got all the units in the front room as can’t put in the kitchen as the floor isn’t dry! Had 1 man bless him worked all day by himself plastering the whole kitchen and then setting the floor. They come round today and couldn’t work because the floor was still wet!
Only twice has someone been round for a days work, yesterday the plasterer and then last week the electrician. Rest of them come for about half a hour to a hour tops and then bugger off
Such a shambles!

4 DAYS AND STILL NO ELECTRICITY

I am currently getting my kitchen refurbished through PiLON and on Tuesday the electricians attended to refurbish my old sockets as well as add some new ones. By Thursday evening I lost power in the flat. I did everything I was supposed to (turning everything off, resetting the fuse box) as soon as I attempted to turn anything back on the power went out again. One of the workmen informed the site manager and on Friday they sent round a “handyman” to take a look at it. He was not a qualified electrician but proceeded to try and tell me what he thought the issue was (needless to say it was everything else but the rewiring of my kitchen). It is now Monday, and I have been 4 days without power/heating and the second day I am unable to work. I have contacted PiLON this morning to enquire if they will be sending out an electrician to resolve this issue and as yet have received no response. I will be making a formal complaint to my housing association as well as directly with PiLON.

Same story as lots of other people on…

Same story as lots of other people on Google reviews. I'm with a housing association (Metropolitan) so for that reason seem to be treated with complete disregard.
I am supposed to be getting a kitchen and bathroom refurb with them but they won't/can't even book the initial survey appointment with myself.
They have been calling me to arrange said appointment for the best part of last year but when I engage with them to try and confirm a day they either tell me they can't do it and they will call me next week or book it in and then cancel. They can't book in a date further than two weeks in advance and despite me giving them regular days that I could make it most weeks they expect me to receive a call from them and be automatically free for their (and only their) date less than a week away. They send out text/post appointments without asking me if I can make it, one of these appointments was for the following day less than 24hrs away! Today they called to cancel my appointment for next week. I have lost a day's work and therefore I will be out of pocket because of them.
If anyone from PiLON is reading this I would like compensation for the loss of my days work.
I believe that because I am with a housing association I am being treated differently to their other customers.
There's definitely something fishy going on with all this between my housing association and them.... it just doesn't add up.
What a shambles!
