I grew up with pink bike... I cant believe that its become a hard right organization.. Ive bought bikes, sold bikes, Parts, events all through pink bike.. Now its nothing more than haters..? This wasnt the community I grew up with...

The MTB site that has everything in its hands but fails due to ignorant management.

Not really sure where to start to be honest

try removing a picture you uploaded and watch the fun begin which is an issue masses have mentioned over the years and its still happening

like others have also mentioned these could take so much business from the likes of ebay/fb and create a decent buy and sell platform but they wont

the sites fonts and overall main page is to be desired its clunky and cluttered

they have spent too much time on making advertisers and other businesses welcome and not enough on its actual bread and butter customers.

their customer support is almost none exsistant and read other reviews for that

the buy and sell section has had its fare share of scammers cause there is no checking going on so if you buy from someone in another country you are doing so at your own risk and PB wont entertain you if your scammed

it needs a mass of investment with a lot of customer feedback used to make it better but i wont hold my breathe as its been like this forever and no one is either intrested or listening there

As a relatively new user to PB I have just incurred a very frustrating experience with a Live Chat agent. I posted an ad yestterday in Search of a e assist bike and opted to BUMP up the ad for a nominal $4 - payment was made via online and then I received an email with a link today requesting a second step verification of my credit card - I was asked to input my credit card balance - very strange and then I received a note the PB doesn't recognize the Bank that the CC was issued under-- it is a major Bank in Canada associated with Master Card. All the live agent noted was PB doesn't work with this Bank. Talk about jumping through hoops. The Live Agent had very poor client service approach. Clearly I will delete my ad and will NOT use PB in the future.

Does not accept new registrations.
I just signed up for this platform, in order to post my ad for a bike. I added lots of personal info and validated my email address.
I was then not allowed to post the ad for 24 hours. So I tried to contact customer services. It then said, I cannot message anyone for 1 hour after registering.

So what a complete waste of time. I cannot post any ad and I cannot contact customer services for dispensation.

They "could" moderate content rather that putting in these weird rules, that are totally counter to a usual online experience. Very odd.

The site seems very outdated, but people have recommended it so I was prepared to give it a chance.

Pinkbike or 'PB' as we know it has absolutely TONS of potential to generate so much more money, the buy/sell it side of the site is terrible and outdated, they could take so much business from ebay and facebook marketplace but PB cant see it?.

For me id start to offer free accounts or premium options, id charge users for premium accounts but what they get is a verified account so buyers can see they are genuine, then give the premium users say 5 free adverts per year with all the bells and whistles on it, but non premium accounts have to pay a small price for any adverts, there should be the option to allow users to build a feedback side of the buy/sell to allow other users to see what other people have said, There should also be a "Swap" option which ebay, facebook and allmost all other sites dont offer, still charge free accounts for any swap adverts thou.

As it is now the site is difficult to remove photos that a user has uploaded, the iface is complicated and a mess, there is little customer service and just in general the site is tired.

I cant tell you how many lads would migrate to PB rather than use social media and the scam accounts on facebook that are commonplace trying to get lads to send their MTB bling to these scammers whilst FB does nothing, PB is a well-known brand and could if they wanted to steal masses of buy/sell adverts from so many sites and PB could make good money from it.

There is also one other thing PB could do and start attracting people to a forum more than they are,

Some of the absolute basics are vacant from PB like removing pictures or basic means of contacting someone there, lastly. the main page is horribly cluttered with everything just rammed on the page...

Tried setting an account up as seen a bike I'd like t buy on there. Been 48 hours and 3 emails later and still no response.

More like saltybike. Pinkbike comment section is the best and worst part of the website at the same time. They have some of the best reviews most credible reviewers in mtb, so there is that.
