We bought some screens and software licenses from the Pioneer group back in 2020, and in December 2021 our license expired for the software.
We paid the renewal fee mid December but Pioneer Group failed for weeks and months to activate our licenses.
Our digital menu displays were blank during our peak Christmas period and in early January we had no choice but to switch over to a competitor as our customers were visiting the venue and were not able to view the full menu, consequently causing us a potential loss of income due to blank screens.
We have spoken to both Lauren Butcher and Ben Holland at Pioneer + Signagage Live and nobody is interested in helping or even refunding. It has been almost 3 months and we have yet to receive a refund.
It is totally unacceptable that first, they take our funds and do not activate our license, secondly, our venue missed out on almost three weeks of showcasing and upselling our food items due to the lack of response and inability to activate a simple license.
And finally, three, to demonstrate total disregard once again but not issuing us our refund.
I would highly recommend looking for an alternative provider as to avoid any downtime in your business operations.
