We had Piptree cater our wedding and couldn't be more glad that we chose them. From the very start Alice and Richard were delightful, hosting us for a mouth-watering and very generous tasting that created a real sense of anticipation for what was to come on the day.

As well as creating a fantastic, inventive and delicious menu, the team's level of service and support was what really stood out for us. They couldn't have been more accommodating especially in overcoming admin challenges (we had to change the venue mid-way through planning!), adapting to suit our requirements and making us feel entirely at ease with the event.

On the day itself Dan and the rest of the team carried out service immaculately and the event went off perfectly. We had a lot of compliments from guests about the food and would highly recommend Piptree to anyone planning an event to remember.

The whole experience with Piptree Catering was 5 stars, from the moment we met them, trying their food, to the ease of the service.

They were so flexible with any of our requests and the team they had with them were so attentive to guests and friendly.

We had our wedding in a remote field in Surrey (not the most straight forward), which they had no problem with logistically, the food had so many compliments by all our guests and the team were so friendly and attentive, things couldn't have gone better.

We have already recommended Alice and Richard to friends and guests of our wedding asked for their details as they were so impressed.

We recently had Piptree cater for a corporate event. Everything went great - the food tasted delicious, the display was very aesthetically appealing and the service provided was excellent. We will definitely be hiring Piptree Catering again.

Richard and his team couldn’t have been more helpful. Super professional team who took all the pain and stress out of what turned out to be a fabulous 30th. Not only was the food top notch, but the serving and waitstaff were punctual and super kind and great with the guests. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Piptree were absolutely fantastic catering our big day. They offered an amazingly generous package for the day that included canapés, a three course meal and an evening meal of hog roast, all for an affordable price which meant no other caterers compared. Alice and Richard kept in touch right up to the event and were helpful, answering any questions we had quickly. They gave us an incredible free tasting and even let me bring my parents along as they happened to be visiting at the time, which made it a really special event where we all got to try the food (which was outstanding). For all the veggie/vegans out there, they gave us such a good vegan main to try that we genuinely found it hard to decide what our main should be. They went above and beyond to cater for allergies and dietary requirements to the point where our friend who had a soy allergy was brought her own canapés and she couldn’t believe it, she was expecting to just not have canapés and bring her own snacks as that’s what she’s used to. So it really meant a lot to all of our guests that piptree made sure they were all catered for equally. We ran a bit over on timings with our speeches but piptree took it in their stride and made sure we all still got our desserts and had a chance to eat before the next part of the day. Everyone felt so well fed, many people came up to me to thank us for the lovely food and it was so wonderful that no one went hungry and everyone was able to enjoy the delicious food throughout the day. I would highly recommend piptree to anyone planning a wedding as they made our day incredibly special through their services and their personal touches to ensure the food was right for us were just above and beyond.

What can we say but…WOW! It was an absolute pleasure working with Alice and Richard from our very first Zoom meeting to the tasting, organising everything on our own personalised WhatsApp group to the INSANELY good food, service and staff on the day of our wedding. Every moment was a joy and they went above and beyond at a very difficult time to make sure that we were happy.

The food itself was to die for. Richard and the kitchen team certainly know their flavours and how to construct a meal that was both visually stunning and utterly delicious. All of our guests commented on the high standard of the food and we’re blown away by the attentive service of the front of house staff.

We were excited to work with a local company who genuinely cared about working with us, rather than for us and we’re so happy with that decision. And we remain great friends which is testament to the effort they put into making our wedding day the best it could be. Thank you for everything Piptree!

I organised a reunion at the Bushy Park Sports Club for a group of colleagues who used to work together - Piptree provided a hot buffet and dessert. I'm so glad I went this route rather than trying to book a restaurant. Piptree supported me along the way and were really flexible. The staff provided a great service, clearing the plates too, and the food was delicious.

The experience with Piptree has been amazing. They have communicated very well with me and offered lots of options. The catering during the event was set up beautifully and the food was delicious and above our expectations. All of the attendees complemented the food.

What a wonderful company! We gave them very short notice to do the catering for our event and a few last minute changes. Both Rich and Alice were able to deal with it all and keep me calm.

The food that they served was top class and the waiting staff were extremely helpful and polite.

Piptree Catering catered my 40th Birthday Party in my garden.

From the very beginning the team were amazing. Alice took the time to find out what I wanted, asking about my food preferences and tailoring the party to fit my style.

The consultation about the menu was great and it was wonderful to have Richard on the calls to share his expertise on the food and offer new ideas.

They could not do enough and were keen to touch base in the build up and check about menu design and check everything was okay.

The day of the party was great. The food was amazing and it was greatly received by everyone.

I asked for some staff to help with the bar and serving and the team who arrived were amazing. It was clear they all knew each other and worked so well together.

However, it was also how helpful they all were. Asking if they could answer the door, show people where to put coats and presents and even offering to look after the dogs when it was their dinner time.

I employed a team of wonderful caterers and got an amazing party planner team instead.

Lovely people, lovely food, a fabulous day and I would hire them back in a heartbeat!

I found Tiptree on the internet when looking for caterers near to Teddington. The website said they were good and indeed they were. Alice and Richard are delightful and made just the right suggestions for my party for forty. Many of the guests remarked on how good the food was and the service - serving drinks to begin with then helping with the buffet and clearing the plates after each course - was at just the right level, swift and discrete.
The website was right! So, luckily, was the weather. Good value too.

Richard and Alice were fantastic at catering for 90 guests at our wedding. They were very innovative when the water cut out for a period of time and even covered the bar for a short period when demand rose. They created some great BBQ platters for the tables and were very willing and helpful in serving our own deserts.
Piptree were great at constantly communicating right up to the event and asking helpful questions which had slipped our minds, they really knew what they were doing.
We would definitely recommend Piptree to others.

Piptree provided a tasty cold buffet for me for a boat birthday party. The feedback from my guests was very positive, which was good to hear.

Restaurant quality food and I was able to leave it all to them and relax - I have no hesitation in recommending them and would use them again in a heartbeat.

We hired Piptree catering for our wedding on 24 July, and it was simply delicious. The whole process of finding Piptree, organising tasting with Richard and Alice and them helping event plan our big day was so smooth and we felt really safe in their hands. They went above and beyond with sourcing additional event staff, and on the day itself the team were professional, friendly and personable. They are a small family run company, we chose a three course sit down meal with canapés and we only received compliments on how delicious the food was. Piptree also created a bespoke vegan menu to cater for some of our guests. Would 100% recommend Piptree for any event, not only is the food delicious but the event support was absolutely excellent.

We hired Piptree catering for my best friends surprise 40th which involved two separate surprises on Friday and Saturday. From the beginning, Alice was extremely accommodating and flexible to our needs and designed a menu for both occasions that was ideal. The food was delicious and Richard went the extra mile on Saturday when we had a full catering set up with canapes and Hog Roast. Nothing was too much and it gave a really special feel to the whole day. The quality of food is outstanding and the focus on sustainability and sourcing locally is also a great plus.

Piptree catered for our wedding last Saturday. We hired a boat along the Thames and had a fantastic time.
