I have been using Pixajoy from before covid- maybe from 2017. I am a satisfied user of pixajoy and appreciate its user friendliness.It allows enough user autonomy when designing fotobooks.

Delivery charges are not clear that it would be per item and not per delivery. Ie, to post 1 item would cost SGD 5+, to post 4 of the same items at the same time to same address is SGD 20+. Each item is small and the total weight of the items is less than 1kg. I cannot understand how the SGD20+ can be justified, even if it is coming from Malaysia to Singapore. You have no choice but to pay for the delivery as the cost of the items are already prepaid.
I was disappointed to see that, without knowing it or selecting them, Pixajoy had added extra items to my checkout. This included an 'upgrade' to the print finishing and a (useless) wooden photo stand. Because of the way they display these 'upgrades' at the checkout, it's not obvious at all that they have been added. This amounted to an extra ~RM30 to the total cost of the photos which I only noticed just after purchasing.
I contacted their online live agent about this, who told me that someone would contact me to resolve. They never did and it's not worth my time to keep chasing.
With these kinds of dodgy practices I could not recommend Pixajoy.
EDIT: After Pixajoy saw my review they contacted me and offered a partial refund. I would have appreciated if they responded to me the first time... I fear if I did not leave a review I would have had no response from them. They said they will change their system so that optional extras are opt-in at the checkout instead of opt-out. However the wooden stand is still added to the cart by default. Take care if you don't want this extra expense (the stand is not worth it).
