Amazing website

Pixella AI feels like a scam.

I paid for what I believed was a one-time image generation, only to discover later that I had been signed up for a $49.99/month subscription. The recurring membership was not made clear enough, and I never intentionally subscribed to a monthly service.

What made the situation even more frustrating was trying to get help afterward. There doesn’t appear to be any real customer service. Instead, you’re stuck talking to AI-generated responses that give canned answers and avoid addressing the actual problem. When I complained about being charged for a subscription I never intended to purchase, they refused to refund me. Rather than return my money, they offered me a free two-year subscription—as if giving me more of a service I never wanted somehow solves the issue.

I wasn’t asking for additional access. I was asking for my money back.

The entire experience left me feeling deceived, ignored, and incredibly frustrated. If you’re considering using Pixella AI, pay very close attention to what you’re clicking and monitor your bank statements carefully. What appeared to be a simple one-time purchase turned into an expensive recurring charge and a battle against AI customer support that refuses to provide a real solution.

I sent an email and they replied very quickly. ( A lot of businesses don’t even reply to the emails and that is very annoying and stressful..) This company engaged in emails to sort out exactly what I wanted to do. This made me happy.

I'm using this to create pictures of fantasy animals so I have a reference to back to whilst wring and to keep them straight in my head at first where I found this it makes out it's free then it wants you to pay a little bit and subscribe for a week I thought why not what it already made is quite good and I won't need it for long turns out what you buy as the subscription means nothing all it gets you is the picture you made without the watermarks and you can save it I thought I would at least be able to make a couple as what the subscription says you can do sounds good but no to make anything you have to buy points on top of the subscription honestly I think this is border line a scam to get people to do think but if I knew it from the start I'd be ok with this app it did make something really good but what it says you get when you buy the subscription is disingenous

Unfortunately, the app was not for me. If I were to use it then it would be no more than 2 or 3 times a year. That said, the support staff have been great in understanding my needs and there was no problems at all in cancelling my subscription. Michael and Mathew were the staff I spoke with via email and both were extremely helpful.

Needed to amend a photo and looked at pixella. The amended photo on my screen looked exactly as I wanted. I then downloaded the image after paying $1.49. The downloaded image was then completely different and not what I wanted or needed. I then sent a reply seeking a refund as the download provided did not match the original draft copy that I was happy with.
I thought that was the end of it until today when I was hit with a $49.99 charge for a service I neither needed nor had signed up for!
I contacted their customer service requesting a refund and apart from trying to get me to resubscribe the service received was exceptional. Within 4 hours of being charged I received a notification from my bank that the refund had been issued.
This 4 star review is for their customer service and not the ai photo editor which massively disappointed!

I used the app to modify one photo & got caught out on the subscription that I hadn't noticed. I contacted my bank who advised me to email a refund & cancellation request to the company. I did that immediately and got a reply straight away, with a full refund and confirmed that no further payments would come out. Their customer service was very good
Giving three stars so that others will see my review and be aware it's a subscription app, not just one payment for a photo you wish to edit & you need to be aware of cancelling it in time as well if you aren't going to be using it.

I purchased the 7 day trial but forgot to cancel before the 7 days was up, so I got charged a monthly fee. I immediately went to cancel the subscription, but took the 99c yearly subscription upgrade deal, this was subsequently charged to my card. One month later they tried to charge a full months subscription, luckily, the account I used had low funds and the charge was rejected.

I contacted support to notify them of the unauthorised charge but received a reply saying that " the cancellation wasn't completed so the charge stands". Firstly, if the monthly cancelation wasn't completed, why did the 99c yearly upgrade charged to my card, and secondly, once you click on upgrade or cancel, there's nothing else to click - that's it, one click!

My card is switched off so they won't get the money, any further attempt and I will be reporting this to VISA.

Scams you into buying it with small text. The larger text says it’s only $1.49 but in tiny light grey font underneath it says it’s $40. Absolutely so cheeky and should be illegal to trick people like that. Like go create a proper business where people will actually want to give you $40 a month! Lazy POS.

they will take your money without authorization they dont offer refund as part of terms and condition. If you try to reach them its a BOT who will respond

It's not so intuitive for people new to AI and this platform. But I got what I needed eventually. Beautiful finished product. Really happy with it so far.

The results were impressive. I asked it to blend two pictures together.

So i paid for the trial, only about 1.14 pounds, used it once or twice then never logged back in, sure I cancelled it. Anyway Skip to today I see a charge for 33 quid go out for pixella.ai. I contacted support on day of renewal and requested they refund me, I also cancelled the subscription. At first they offered me a free YEAR, yes YEAR but unfortunately I dont need this and refused it, then a guy called james emails saying sorry we cant refund you, terrible service this, its not a scam by any means but it is a money pit for these type of companies that would do anything to try and make you stay, I mean a FREE YEAR! Its laughable. I wouldn't recommend signing up at all.
