Bayswater Pizza Pilgrims

We went to the Bayswater branch today with my family.

Whilst the food was very good, the same can't be said about the overall restaurant experience when compared to the Bank and Kings Cross branches.

At this branch, we dealt with 2 members of staff:
- 1 was a gentleman of Indian origin who was very polite and helpful; and
- 1 was a gentleman of oriental origin who appeared to have a bad attitude

In the other branches weve been to, we found all staff members to be polite and positive.

In addition, the music was a bit stop start as the Bluetooth kept disconnecting. This was not the case in the other branches.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend the Bayswater branch as the Bank and Kings Cross branches offer a far better overall experience.

Post a Pizza - Laughable!

Truly laughable!!
I wish I could upload a photo of what you actually receive. When firms like HelloFresh etc can offer meals for £4-5 a portion some how it costs £26 for Pizza for 2.
I was given a voucher and because of how expensive it is I assumed there would be some fancy twist.
Nope.
We are talking about £4 of produce (max) maybe less if you assume they buy it in bulk. I'm not plucking these numbers out of the air either as i used to work for a large Pizza firm.
I appreciate they have to post it but the mark up on this is ridiculous.

The pepperoni is nice and so is the honey and yes its a 'fun experience' but you can buy dough in shops these days and wouldn't spend much more on the rest of the kit.

Receiving it via the post all at once is convenient but I'm not sure that convenience is worth £20.

The instructions change from 'grill' and 'oven' a few times so its not too clear which they mean (although both would be fine in my opinion).
You also need to start the dish in a frying pan, so if they do mean grill then to enjoy this as a couple you would need to make sure you have 2 x 12 inch frying pans and a grill big enough to fit 2 frying pans in at the same time. (Most people do not have this) otherwise you'll take it in turns to eat (fun).
For this reason we went with the oven method so we could simply use pizza trays.

Appalling Service

I want to write a review because to say my family ordered a pizza for £10.00 and then the buzzer didn’t ring and the workers that worked there just left without saying they didn’t even take the buzzer I’m going to complain to the customer service and tell everyone not to come here they literally took our money and never gave us food and to be honest they left with a mess they didn’t even clean up I’m so disappointed.

Delicious Pizzas and Outstanding Service

I recently had an amazing dining experience at Pizza Pilgrims Liverpool Street. The food was delicious, with perfectly crispy crust and flavourful toppings. The standout, however, was the exceptional customer service by Ima, Flavia, and Luigi. Their warm welcome and attentive care made the visit truly memorable. I'm definitely planning to return for more of their fantastic pizza and top-notch service.

Just had a takeaway pizza from the…

Just had a takeaway pizza from the Cambridge Pizza Pilgrims (don't know if there are other branches throughout the UK) and dismayed to read the review from the man who said they didn't care about serving him a burnt pizza and were racist (no surprize really) - I have just had their margherita pizza and not impressed either. They are entitled and arrogant as most people in Cambridge. I could have bought chargrilled vegetable pizza from Tesco for £3, and it is miles better than the over-priced rubbish in there; and in future I will go to Tesco to get my pizza. The fast-food outlets and restaurants in Cambridge are RUBBISH, (like everything else in this town) except McDonalds, which, although some of the people who work in there are also rude, are better - at least you get what you pay for in McDonalds.

UPDATE (#141600)

I have now upped my review from a 1 star to a 4 star as Support emailed me back after I complained about one of the pucks of dough went bad which resulted in it not working while being cooked

They sent out a completely different kit for.. free! They even included 2 cocktails on the house
I don’t usually change my review from 1 star all the way to 4 stars although I cannot fault support and the replacement kit was lovely!!!
Thank you Pizza Pilgrims

Pizza was terrible and racist staff

Pizza was terrible. My experience was horrible. I sat down and order 2 pizzas and a cocktail and asked for a table water. The guy walked with the water slammed on the table and looked at me as if I don't belong here. Maybe because I am Asian. I cut a small slize of pizza it was burned and non edible. Seems the management don't care so I didn't eat it and paid and walked away when the staff was happy to take the payment and don't even have the courtesy to ask why I haven't had the pizza. Maybe they are either racist or they don't care. If I could give no star at all, I would.
