Money hungry thieves that couldn't care…
Money hungry thieves that couldn't care less about their customers... unless they are squeezing as much money out of them as they can... that they care about.
I used the program on a 7 day trial of a monthly plan and because i had sick kids i forgot to cancel.
They billed me 600USD (that's nearly $1200 in my country) for a yearly plan (which i didn't sign up for or need).
Also, their program did not do what i needed it to do (actually let me draw a deck), so i used apple keynote which did the job. Note, i only need this for 1 job as i was doing a DIY job in my back yard. I don't need an ongoing sub.
I sent the pictures of my keynote, drawing, explained the situation, said i'm happy to pay for the month but i shouldn't have to pay a yearly fee for a software i used once and didn't do the job that i needed and ran like a slug. They said they wouldn't give me a refund, offered me half my money back if i signed up for an ongoing subscription... which i don't need.
I have zero respect for this business and in my view with this absolute lack of care they don't deserve peoples business.

Not able to do anything on any screen…
Not able to do anything on any screen relating to the images i take. Just lots of stock photos. No options come up to do anything on any screen, when i press arrow to hack a page i am taken out of the app. The help screen just hangs and am unable to find, my details page, to unsubscribe. Beware of their trial. These guys genuinely want you to go over so they can take anything out of that fee. First company that I ever faced that said you aint getting it all back we want some of it. I took it on the chin, but be careful.

I asked for a refund and was denied.
Until there’s a serious UX overhaul, I can’t recommend this product to anyone.
As a seasoned software developer with over 20 years of experience using and building digital tools, I was shocked by how difficult Planner5D is to use. Basic tasks like drawing a room or rotating an object took an unreasonable amount of time. I spent over 1.5 hours just trying to create a simple layout—most of it wasted trying to locate hidden or poorly designed features.
Even with the help of their AI assistant and documentation, actions like resizing windows, renaming projects, or aligning objects consistently failed or behaved unpredictably. A simple task like rotating a shower element took 10 minutes and external help. That’s not acceptable for a modern design tool.
I tried placing a mirror on the wall—four times. Each time, the object seemed to disappear. Only in 3D view did I realize it had been placed on the external wall of the house.
The product markets itself as easy and intuitive, but the reality is anything but. If their business model depends on a product-led growth strategy, the product must work without requiring a manual or AI guide just to perform the basics. Sadly, Planner5D falls far short.

They say they have a 14 day no questions asked refund policy but they will not issue a refund during that time unless you can prove that something is defective with their software. All you get during the Sign up process is “you can cancel for 14 days, no questions asked” but the real rules are buried in their terms of service

Scam refund policy
If you have forgotten to cancel your subscription, and accidentally get charged (£400 in my case). You cannot ask for a refund in 14 days like any normal services. You will have to show evidence of defect in their app.

Do not use this software, use home by me. It’s free and so much better. Planner 5d can take up to 24 hrs to convert one floor plan. You can not do anything while the software try’s to work out the plan. No button to cancel. The support system is terrible no response. I canceled after 15 mins of trying and they wouldn’t give me

Very difficult to use. No support. They offer a design service on top of the regular rate because they know how hard it is to use. I tried to use this service but website won't even let me. Pretty sure it's just another scam. They responded. Confirmed. It is a scam.

App offered me a 3 day trial so I committed to it, when approved I did not see any billing informations so I thought no money needed, of course. I looked right back at my bank account and they had taken money for a YEAR WORTH OF USE, they claim its because I might have sometimes used the trial already, its a fn scam.

Glitchy as hell
Glitchy as hell. Fails to convert blue prints into useable blue prints. I only signed up because I wanted to save time by uploading a blue print and working off that... It did not work at all.
I even had the lines redone so they were thicker and bolder as I thought that might be why it missed so much. Nope. It's just terrible software.

Disappointing Experience with Planner 5D – Misleading Pricing and Lack of Support
I am deeply dissatisfied with my recent experience using the Planner 5D app. The advertisement clearly stated a price of $4.99, but upon selecting the offer, I was unexpectedly charged $59.99. This significant discrepancy in pricing felt extremely misleading.
Following this, I reached out to the support team to request a refund. Unfortunately, my request was denied without any alternative solution. Despite multiple follow-ups and a willingness to explore other options, I received no meaningful assistance.
To add to the disappointment, the app does not deliver the quality it promises. The rendering capabilities are far from professional, the visuals appear cartoonish, and the overall functionality does not justify such a high cost. In my opinion, the app is not worth the amount charged.
This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend Planner 5D to anyone based on the lack of transparency, poor customer service, and underwhelming product quality.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to improved practices in both customer communication and product representation.

DON’T USE THIS PLANNER!!! Like so many others, I was scammed by this company. I signed up for a trial period, used for no more than a couple of hours and then realized the software was not user-friendly. No big deal because I was well within the trial period, right? Wrong. At least that’s what the customer service rep informed me. Said I didn’t sign up for a trial when I know 100% I did! I even put a reminder in my calendar to cancel before the designated date.
Per Service Rep Cora:
I'm afraid I am not able to offer a refund in your case since according to our Refund Policy, the delivered digital content is considered non-refundable and you do not have the right to withdraw from a transaction or obtain a refund once delivery of digital content (virtual items or subscription) has commenced. At this point, your transaction is considered final. Please note that you agreed to these Terms of Service during the registration process by ticking the box.
It’s a SCAM. Run away!

I wanted to buy a monthly subscription, but the site is made so that I did not notice the checkbox about the annual subscription. They took the payment for the year from the month. I wrote to have an undue understanding and return part of the money and cancel my subscription for the year, making it a monthly subscription. But with automatic cancellation! The next month, the site that I forgot about and which I used for 15 minutes, took another 20 dollars from me. I used the site for 15 minutes, but it turned out that I paid 40 dollars.

Worste app ever. Doesnt scan your plan and use ai at all... it is false claim. When you realise you cannot do anything at all and ask a refund within the first 24h they don't accept. Dont try it ...use sketchup free instead!!
