Rachel designed our garden from photos and a short video we sent her. We could not be happier with the 4 designs she came up with to choose from, and what an incredibly speedy service; just two days! We hadn't thought about a few things which would determine design, but Rachel did and asked pertinent questions to ensure the best possible outcome. And does she offer value for money? Absolutely! Many thanks Rachel.

Rachel helped me to redesign our narrow but long back garden which needed to be low maintenance, interesting for kids and relaxing for the adults. I have found Rachel an absolute pleasure to work with. She listened and understood the brief perfectly, came up with some great ideas and the final outcome is brilliant. We will start the work this autumn but the money spent on Rachel’s design has saved me a ton of time and energy on the mistakes we would have made without her. Highly recommended.

Rachel was great to work with. I needed my garden redesigned with a tiny budget and Rachel has designed a garden with small but impactful changes which fulfilled our criteria to use the garden to meet our changing needs. She gave us detailed plans on where to move plants, suggested ways to make the garden feel wider and less rectangular and provided a mix of plants for us to add in and how to care for the new and existing plants. I’m waiting for Autumn to replant and add new lawn and plants in.. excited to implement the changes! In the meantime I’m reading her book and listening to her podcast to develop my knowledge and interest in gardening. Plant plots is such a great business and SO helpful!

I am a very busy professional gardener, maintaining domestic gardens. This leaves little time, energy or enthusiasm to look after my own very tired and sad looking garden. I read Rachel’s book which fired me up with enthusiam and decided to contact her for a fresh pair of eyes on a particular area I was really struggling with. I sent her photos and measurements of the area and we also talked. Rachel then quickly came up with a lovely plan having completely interpreted and understood my needs. She had to work with what was already there as my very small budget did not allow for any hard landscaping changes. I am thrilled and excited to get started on her ideas and would highly recommend Rachel to anyone wanting a garden design at a sensible price.

I cannot thank Rachel enough for creating an amazing, creative and practical design for our small garden. We have moved to a new build property which sloped sideways and has the turf placed over the rubbish rubble - not a great start to a blank canvas. After hunting through garden designers who wanted extortionate amounts of money to come out and even look at our disastrous garden, I stumbled across Plantplots and I'm so glad i did. After making contact with Rachel and talking through our wants and desires list for the garden, she set to work to create us a most wonderful garden plan to work to. Rachel was so patient working with us when we chopped and changed the design along the way. Nothing was too much trouble. Now with my plan finalised and in my hand, i literally can not wait to get started on our new garden.

I wish I haven't play I-know-what-do and spend massive massive time reading about plants, soil types, pruning rules, sun positions, resistance to cold, hardiness and more and more. Yes, it is all needed too, but this doesn't help to create enjoyable environment!

Rachel really took time to listen to what I was after, and gave me two or three drafts, before we arrived at the final design. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I am so very pleased with my design, and can't wait to bring it to life!

We are absolutely DELIGHTED with the final garden design plan we received yesterday! We enjoy pottering in our garden, but the configuration is currently the same as when we moved in 10+ years ago (boring borders), and we needed someone to take a fresh look at the layout: Rachel did exactly that for us... and also so much more! Her excellent landscaping suggestions really suited our 'contemporary urban' wishes (btw she was really flexible, accommodating our changing ideas mid-way through the process, e.g. about suddenly deciding to add a pergola and kids' swing into the plan) combined with her careful consideration about the planting (e.g. with recommendations for plants which won't trigger my hayfever, guidance about which plants to 'keep' to cut garden center costs, our colour preferences- no yellow, and my fussy planting wishes- no fluffy flowers) will transform our outside space. Her real-life gardening advice was SO practical, e.g. about the neighbour's trees, bike storage. We found that the Whatsapp messages back and forth with Rachel got the whole family talking in a focused way about what we all want in/ from our outdoor space... and because the end design is so personalised the whole family are really excited to get started on our new project! HIGHLY recommended.

Rachel provided a basic garden design and planting scheme ...it is a limited service not a full garden design service but has given me lots of pointers for my existing garden and how to take my ideas forward.

Amazing!! My garden was long overdue for some colour and for a novice gardener that does not have a clue, this was just perfect. The results are lovely and I am looking forward to finishing my planting and landscaping in the Autumn.
