A waste of time and money

When I first tried out Plantrip I was more than impressed by the output and speed. Yesterday I took out a 1 month Pro subscription and dived into planning a 30 day road trip around England. My entire day was wasted.

The first itinerary looked good at first glance, so I selected a detailed itinerary so I could see travel times for each day. It crashed. How am I supposed to decide on an itinerary without these kind of details?

I entered the same request data, and tried again for the basic itinerary. It worked but this itinerary was different to the first. Each itinerary it returns is different to the previous one. How am I supposed to refine a trip if it keeps changing?

Selecting a detailed itinerary caused it to crash again.

I started from scratch again and this time clicked on Map. It crashed. Another promised and critical feature that doesn’t work.

As the map feature didn’t work, I entered the daily destinations suggested on one the itineraries into Google Maps. Over the first 5 days, it showed a route criss-crossing back and forth across the same area, at which point I stopped. This route was frankly ridiculous and would cost me many valuable holiday hours wasted driving unnecessarily, in addition to wasted fuel.

Looking into a recommended ’tour’ on Day 2 of one the itineraries, I found that it doesn’t exist, nor was there any record of it ever existing. Of course this makes me wonder how many other suggestions are wrong.

Each time Plantrip crashed and I was forced to start from scratch, entering the same request data, the cost estimates were different. From less than £200 to over £9,000. £200 for a 30 day trip around England?

Don't waste your time on this product.

Have to purchase a subscription

Tried to generate an itinerary for Vienna (a city I have already visited).
Takes a long time 'creating your itinerary' and then abruptly page directs to 'Upgrade to Paid Version'.
