I had a very good turnaround from ordering my plates, to delivery. I was kept in good communication with the tracking of my plates. Once they arrived, I was glad to be given a complimentary keyring with my reg & fixing kit. Thanks again for your service

Don't bother take ya money no refund no reply..

Rear plate delivered which had a fibre trapped within the laminate. They were very prompt at replacing this. Came to attach the front plate and realised they had sent me the wrong size to fit in the plinth. Sent three polite e-mails requesting a replacement. Nothing received so have requested a refund through my credit card company

Much like everyone else - paid for next day and waited 3 days for them to turn up - having paid the premium delivery price. No refund, in fact no response to email either.

Ordered a set of plates cost £60 including £9.99 for next day delivery
I have not received the plates yet and it's 3 days now and counting 27th March 2023
Website doesn't give you any information about them??
Don't waste your money and DO NOT use this company!
Have contacted VISA to get FULL refund and money has now been refunded

Ordered number plates and paid for next day. Website clearly guarantees next day delivery but 3 days later and no delivery. They say because of royal mail delays but they are aware of possible delays and still advertise next day delivery. Why didn't they use another currier if they know there are issues with delivery or why haven't they changed their website to indicate next day delivery just isn't possible at all. Why isn't this illegal as clearly false advertising.

Their star rating looks made up as its not from trust pilot obviously.

Plates bought in July. Arrived very promptly and fitted. A couple of days ago I noticed they appeared to be de laminating. Closer inspection and a quick e mail to car plates direct confirmed that it was protective film which I should have removed prior to fitting. My problem was that the film was now brittle having been exposed to the weather since fitting and would only come off in very small flakes. Entirely my fault but without asking and in response to my query I was offered a free replacement set which arrived today. They didnt have to do this so ten out of ten for faultless customer service.

I have tried contacting this company, Plates Direct, couple of days after receiving plates on the 20/05/21 at a cost of £56.96. No reply.
Some of the 3D gel numbers, simply weren't stuck to the plate.
Its true, plates direct, do not reply, I should have read the reviews. I was willing to pay good money for a product that in good faith, I thought was a good product. I accept problems, with an order, usually its sorted, what I can't accept is, no response.

Ordered 3x number plates and nothing has arrived. I have emailed but have had no response. Ordered and paid on 10th May 2021, Paid £7.99 postage and it is now 9th June and have received nothing. Website is unsecure and no phone number to contact.

Ordered on Saturday morning of a bank holiday weekend with next delivery, received the plates the following Thursday afternoon, 5 days layers. There was nothing on the website excluding weekends or bank hols from express delivery or next day dispatch. Initial responses to emails were rude and unapologetic, subsequent emails requesting a refund were blocked and returned. Had to get plates made elsewhere in the end. Very poor service would not recommend at all. You can tell from their website that they shy away from customer interaction, no contact details online, on emails or on delivery slip.

Awful they ignore your emails have sent me 4d plates out where the lettering is full of scuffes. I have emailed 3 times no response!!

Ignore your emails! Take your money and provide no customer service!! Awful !! Should be ashamed of yourselves

As you can see they are telling me they are been delivered ! One was !! I don’t ordered TWO and a fitting kit!

I hope they are never RIPPED OUT OFF!

Number plates arrived, special ‘3D Gel’ plates. Firstly the 3D Gel doesn’t even line up with the standard printed text underneath. It’s been put on so poorly it’s bubbled and is peeling away. The actual plastic plate itself is of poor quality.

And then you’ve no idea how to contact anyone as they have no ‘contact us’ section or any company details.

Not impressed given the plates cost me the best part of £50!

Really pleased with these guys. Plate arrived next working day and means I can get back out legally.

Great service, very quick turn around, quick response to questions I emailed them, just a shame that when drilling the holes extremely carefully and smaller than required the front plastic coating unstuck and left a bubble effect. Value for money apart from the need to replace now.

Slight issue with the first plate received which was resolved very quickly and effectively. The mark of a great company is how they handle problems when they arise, and Plates Direct tick all the boxes.

Don’t go anywhere else to buy your number plates.

I edited my this Review as they replied again & Lied Bluntly ! They are dodgy, Twister & rude people, They saying we refunded rather I got them into Paypal & got refunded thru PAYPAL ! before they refused to replaced Plated or Refund, They threatening me of Prosecution when I met my Solicitor friend & we opened their website then discovered they got no CONTACT US info, NO ADDRESS no PHONE number ! They have been trying to twist and lied that I requested EV Plates and keep diverting from real issue ! all lie, I have all proofs and they are misleading people, the feedback or Review they getting here on Trustpilot most of them are fake and your self created reviews which are not verified and those self created names only have left 1 review from their account and only for Platesdirect, Since they Flag my review on TrustPilot and pretending that they do not recognise this sale I gone further and provided proof to Trustpilot as well as now will go further to concerning Authorities because I found them dishonest and fake rude people, They got not Contact us Info like business Address & Phone number, Our manager wanted to speak with them but they hiding somewhere in UK and doing Illegal work.

Few days ago I left feedback regarding this fake and dodgy company who have no "Contact Us" option on their website, no phone number and no address !

They flagged as unconfirmed transaction on Trustpilot which was utter lie because "SOPHIE" their agent was talking to me via email and same time they were pretending here on Trustpilot that we do not know the transaction, they replied here on Trustpilot and I do not understand what they were talking about EV plates? I ordered for plates and before ordering I sent them message with screen shot, I sought confirmation & their customer support officer Sophie confirmed it, but they sent me wrong colour plates and not cooperating, now they threatening of prosecution in paypal messages! so far as they saying something about prosecution so If I use the plates they made for me I can face prosecution and will they be escaping from that prosecution ? they are a dodgy business who got no "contact us" option on their website which I realised now, they do not have any address or phone number on their website, they flag unknow on Trustpilot website and pretending to Trustpilot as they did not sell me plates ? I have sent all proofs ! I contacted them and wanted replacement of plates but they assumed I was asking for refund ? they never behaved good and rude in emails eventually I had to knock PayPal door after all disappointment. Here is the message below I sent them via email and they confirmed with screen shots that they would be able to make such plates.

"Please have a look the screen shot and Please confirm whether you would be able to make such plates as it shown on your website & in screen shots so I place an order."

Last thing to tell that their 5 stars feedback here is fake ! that's because they all feedback they are creating themselves here to give fake "GOOD" image ! if you look feedback here which giving five stars to them most of them are unverified & the users those left feedback here only have 1 comment only and that only for "Platesdirect" they using Random names to boost fake feedback here on TrustPilot that is why the feedback is unverified !

Website very easy to use. Best price I could find. Next day delivery. Will use again and recommend.
