I feel completely misled
I feel completely misled. The website clearly advertises this as the main game, but after purchasing, it turns out to be only the DLC. This is highly misleading and disappointing.

We believe this review goes beyond expressing dissatisfaction with the product and appears to be an attempt to damage our rating. This is already the second complaint/review regarding the exact same product. ( 16.7.2026 )
We have not received a single support message from you regarding this issue. Instead, you posted a negative review within approximately one hour of placing your order, without giving us any opportunity to investigate or resolve the matter.
If there had been any problem with the product listing or your purchase, we would have been happy to assist you immediately through our support channels. Leaving multiple negative reviews for the same product without contacting us first is neither fair nor constructive.

This feels like a scam
This feels like a scam. I purchased Lords & Villeins. The product was listed as a 'Main game', but the key I received is for a DLC.

Hello,
We are very sorry for the confusion. The product was incorrectly paired on our website, which caused the DLC key to be listed as the main game.
We couldn't find any message from you in our support system. If you experience any issues in the future, please contact us directly and we will be happy to help and resolve them as quickly as possible.
We have already refunded your order in full ( $1.75 ). We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

It was an overall good experience
It was an overall good experience, but it was weird to have the prices change so much within the time that it took to check out.

Dear Customer,
Thank you for your positive feedback. We're glad to hear that your overall experience was a good one!
Regarding the price changes, this may have been caused by a promotional discount that was active on the product at the time. Once a promotion ends, the price is automatically updated to its regular rate. Fortunately, situations like this are quite rare, but it can occasionally happen if a promotion expires during the checkout process.
Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you again soon!

In retrospec
I left a negative, but all too brief and nondescript review of a single transaction when it happened. I had contacted playland, and they had said "so, what"... I was upset... But I deleted that review, and this one is more detailed, and not as harsh. I paid for a key to the invite only game "Path of Exile II", i could have bought it from the publisher's site, but I didn't. The key wasn't as described... it unlocked the game, but none of the features, had none of the bonuses.. it was someone's free "invite", not an actual product key... Playland likely had no recourse, but didn't lay it out it those terms, they brushed me off, basically said "it happens, get over it"... that stung... but the service in general didn't deserve one star, and a non specific rant... so this is the fix...

First time buyer
This was my first time buying from them and I got exactly what I purchased with no issues. The process was smooth and the extra discount that had brought me there initially was automatically applied at check out. So I got a pretty good deal on a brand new game.
