Anyone who has gamed online will know…
Anyone who has gamed online will know this is the poorest of the worst. Much like Ontario, BC has to embrace free enterprise as this site is poorly regulated for RTP. If there are positive reviews its probably some poor sap working there who knows his days are numbered. Its an AVOID AT ALL COSTS garbage site with the worst customer retention in the industry. This site is an example of how NOT to run an online venue. Its not just sour grapes folks. Try ANY other site..even the shady offshore ones and you will do better. what surprises me more is that its allowed to operate by your provincial government. They have known for years how badly it ranks and have allowed it to operate with the knowledge that it ranks in the bottom 5% of all online casinos worldwide. Shut it down and rid the internet and the province of this absolute and disgusting garbage. Celebrate it when it finally evaporates into the abandoned domain names category .

The constant crashing of the site is a real disappointment. It also seems that if you win and withdraw funds you will not win substantially again until you spend almost as much or more. Very disappointed overall.
Terrible site cannot win anything on…
Terrible site cannot win anything on their site I tried every game very slow logs you out and poor customer service they don’t know how to please the customer no bonus nothing I made more than 2000 dollars deposits but did not win anything they should close this site down
This is the worse experience
This is the worse experience, first you will never win here or well 5 cents or max 10$ if you are “lucky”, never ever big prices, the app is so slow and kick me out of the games very often, don’t play here
Things have changed drastically on…
Things have changed drastically on Playnow.
I have been unable to access my account for over 10 days due to an apparent geolocation issue, even after I have completed all the suggested troubleshooting tips by chat support, and having my ticket escalated without any response or follow up.
10 days after my initial ticket, and immediately after I complained about going to the regulatory body that oversees PlayNow, my account was magically granted access again to login.... LOL
Now get this. This login session was only granted to me for one hour, before it automatically logged me out again, and proceeded to give me the same issues I have been facing for the previous 10 days.
There is clearly something seriously bugged with PlayNow's internal login/session token systems, and there needs to be a serious look into what is causing these problems, as it is preventing users from accessing the site and withdrawing funds. I'm sure I am not the only user experiencing this across the country.
I have already filed a formal complaint with the relevant regulatory authority, to look into this matter further, and they will take the necessary steps to investigate.
Until then, I suggest to everyone able to use this site to GET YOUR MONEY OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
There is serious problems going on at the fundamental level, on the technical side, support side, and terms side.
The fact they do not allow you to withdraw your funds unless you request a formal account closure (which takes weeks to process) is borderline criminal.
Do NOT put your money into this site. They will lock it up, disable you from playing, and make you jump through hoops, and only after you threaten to report them to the relevant regulator body will they actually take action, albeit temporary, to show they attempted to act in good faith, when in fact they do not.
This site used to be good back in 2022-2024, but now it is a complete mess on all fronts.
DO NOT USE PLAYNOW FOR YOUR GAMING OR LOTTERY LEISURES.
You have been warned.
When a Casino Breaks Trust, It Becomes a Public Problem
I am completely sick of this kind of casino still operating and getting away with the harm it causes. This is why so many people are writing honest reviews and speaking up. This is not about one bad day or one unlucky session — it is about a repeated, shared experience that feels draining, unfair, and deeply wrong. It felt like my money was stolen. I played for hours and watched everything get drained with almost nothing meaningful coming back.
Many of us are hard-working customers. We earn our money through real work and real responsibility. When we choose to play, we expect entertainment, transparency, and some sense of balance — not to feel like we are being slowly drained with almost nothing in return.
Playing here does not feel like normal gambling. It feels one-sided, where money goes in continuously while meaningful outcomes rarely come back. People play for long periods, experience very few spins or features, and walk away stressed, angry, and defeated instead of entertained. This kind of experience destroys trust.
What makes this situation even worse is that this is a government-run platform. When a public institution operates something that so many players describe as harmful, predatory, and damaging to real lives, it becomes a serious public concern. This affects mental health, financial stability, and people’s confidence in systems that are supposed to protect them.
My experience with British Columbia Lottery Corporation / PlayNow reflects what many others are saying: this platform does not feel fair or responsible. That is why there are so many honest reviews. People are not lying. People are not exaggerating. They are warning others.
We are not asking for guaranteed wins. We are asking for fairness, transparency, and real player protection. We are asking to be treated with basic respect as customers and as people.
If this platform cannot operate in a way that is fair, transparent, and not harmful to people’s lives, then it should not be allowed to continue operating. It should be seriously reviewed and shut down until real protections and ethical standards are enforced.
May be legal, but really needs some oversight
The site constantly signs me out in the middle of spins. I am often logged out after getting bonuses come up, and it takes my money and the spin doesn't complete . I have been in the middle of a bonus, took a screen shot and had all relative information and playnow never even got back to me. This is a regular occurrence. I only continue because I'm retired and dealing with health issues so I get bored. The largest jp I ever won was 4300 on bingo and 3700 on powerbucks , yet I play max all the time. They say its random but I think there needs to be a better level of Mandatory pay outs. There is no way to save your favorite game, no way to look for games with special features, and the line hits have become less and less every year. I am an Elite encore player and I do get bonuses which I enjoy but you basically have to spend 15 to 20k or more to become an elite member . Also they send you really annoying emails telling you you're playing too much . If I wanted your opinions, I'd ask for it! Seriously I can spend my money anyway i want! Anyway, until I find a better site , I will continue to play as I am on bed rest. Until playnow gives me a jackpot worthy of what I spend in money and time, I would never reccomend the site. I have aspergers autism and im basically a savant so I know the algorithm being used is unfair. The law of averages for the time and money i have spent , should have given me more than one larger size jackpots (5k+), this says to me they are not paying fair. The customer service is terrible, especially the female agents. I dread calling playnow because of their poor customer service and how they have belittled me. That is my review . I hope to find a better site or the bc government reviews the algorithms used by playnow and forced them to " pay fair"

Terrible payback
When I first made my account, it seemed good lots of bonuses and good money to play ratio. I believe it does that to reel you in. Ive been a regular player for over 10 years and now that it knows im a regular player it seems im depositing 20-30 times and not even breaking even or even being able to withdraw anything to recoup some loss. Save yourself the hassle and head to a brick and mortar casino.

After 45 mins expect loading delays
Playnow is legit and decent but after 45 mins of online time everything loads so slow and then once you try to refresh or log in again its "it's been a hour " gamble sign for you to acknowledge and signout. I get people have gamble issues. Although for those who do try every once in awhile for fun or interest ... The loading and Messages are annoying
Absolutely Garbage
Glitches out all the time. Cheap looking website, games are not great, and it over all feels untrustworthy.
Misleading advertising
Misleading advertising. They imply on their site they match you on your deposit, they do not. Instead they created their tokens system, that is 100% misleading unlike other online casinos which truly match dollar for dollar. I have filed a complaint with credit card company. Quite disgusting to be a Canadian. I have experienced other online casinos and they matched, will not trust lotteries here any longer online.
