Straightforward, no fuss approach

Highly competent, higher confidence

From engaging on day one with Max, Nick and the supporting team at Playter we have never had anything other than exceptional service and support.
Their product works seamlessly, their communication is always exceptional which gives a high degree of trust and confidence.
We continue to work seamlessly with the wider team continually developing new ideas that fit into the requirements that we have.
We couldn't wish to work with a better partner in this space.

Easy to use!

Declan and Belinda made the onboarding pretty quick and happy to support on any queries we had.
Platform is easy enough to use and helps spread the load of bulky invoices to manage cashflow.

Great concept poor execution

Playter has a great concept but really poor execution and customer experience. Their platform is very clunky at best, If LEGO made a platform, PLAYTER.CO would be it.

We signed up with them a few months ago and got an initial deal which was workable. We used their 3 months advance service and it was an okay service at best.

We tried again a few months later and the platform did not play well but we fumbled our way through by having to send initial BAC payments for their fee and 1st monthly payment.

Having not used their service for a few months we tried again today (31/07/23) but now Playter are being greedy on their rates. We understand there have been increases in the world but still no changes to their platform.

In addition, now that we are a customer, the sales guy doesn't seem hungry for business anymore. When I rejected the high rate offer he offered me today I was told “okay thanks we will leave it there” and hanged up !!.

So, if you're looking for finance solutions keep searching there are others out there who really want your business.

We're very sorry about your experience with Playter. Since February 2022, Playter has raised it's rates just 0.5% whilst the BoE has raised it rates over 5%.

We understand that the product might not be for you at this time, but our pricing has remained incredibly competitors compared to most other lenders out there are we always give you the right not to take out the funding we offer.

We will take this feedback and look to improve in the future.

Have tried on several occasions to…

Have tried on several occasions to contact this company for more information on how they use our personal data as they are requesting personal information despite it being for a company. Have called over 15 times now and each time they either say to call back or they pick up and cut the phone off straight away. It was a challenge in itself to get a contact number for them and now they keep cutting me off. The third party company using them says they need the information for fraud purposes (despite the information they request being completely irrelevant to the business). I am worried this company is not fully legitimate themselves and have no confidence giving over personal information and photo ID when they can not even be contactable to explain why they need it and how it will be used. I would avoid using until they can provide some explanation.

We're sorry about your experience with using Playter and we can assure you that we work hard on our customer service to give all the information you need.

Regarding personal information, we are required by law to undertake a Know Your Customer (KYC) on everyone who uses the service as we are providing credit. This helps us (as well as the regulators) understand that we are taking payments from someone who is part of the business. It's a process that all companies like us must undertake.

We are registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (Reference number: 986360) and have helped over 1000 businesses improve their cashflow by spreading the cost of their invoices over multiple instalments throughout the year.

We will make sure someone gets in touch as soon as possible to resolve this issue and explain further why these checks are needed for us to comply with the regulators.
