If you plan on backing a project using pledgebox, it’s not worth it. Run away. They have never ending email lists that you cannot unsubscribe from. They don’t respond if you try contacting them. Seriously, think twice before backing a pledgebox project. I won’t do it again.

Non existing service - PBID008584767 Cancel it and refund.
Have tried contacting them for MONTHS without an answer. Just wanted to know when an item would be shipped, being polite about it. No answer, waiting a month I wrote again, no answer. Why have a mail we can write to if NO ONE ANSWERS?! Now my patience is up and I want my order cancelled, pleeeeease.

They’re allowing people to commit fraud on their platform. I am constantly getting emails to send more money to a pledge that has been ignoring many of its supporters.

They are just scammers, who put themselves between the client and the creator of the campaign, creating disservices and not providing any guarantees.

I back a lot of projects on Kickstarter, and I understand that some companies use PledgeBox for their projects' delivery and survey... However, when PledgeBox sends me an email informing me that my order is being shipped, I want to check my order details or track it without creating an unnecessary account on PledgeBox; this is not possible...

Now I have an order coming from a company I backed on Kickstarter, PledgeBox sent me an email a couple of weeks ago, but I can't see any details of my order except by creating an account (which I'll never do)... PledgeBox should sort this out... Creating an account shouldn't be by force!!!

Scam! I funded a project on Kickstarter and Pledgebox was responsible for shipping (costs). Paid the costs, but after finding out the project was scam I wanted to get in touch with Pledgebox to refund my paid shipping costs. They do not reply to any mails. So another $39 down the drain. PLEASE BEWARE!

Skam!!! Becarfull they dont send you the order, never received my item its FRAUD!!!!!

Never received item. No communication with seller, they just ignore my emails. Will never back any project again. No customer support, what so ever. If you like throwing away money, go for it.

Pledgebox obviously sells user data to third-party.

After backing a project and being forced to use pledgebox to receive the reward, I started getting tons of spam (kickstartgogo, backerhive, backerrock, and others).

Also worth mentioning, the site doesn't scale. Go figure...

the page is permanently down. I have the goods at home for a long time and no information from them about shipping. the only thing that comes every day exactly are spam offers

The site is constantly down for us (the creators) and the backers. Support takes several days to respond and the site remains down for days.

How can we ask backers to trust our campaign and surveys, let alone purchase add-ons if the survey links don't work because the site is down?

In the space of two weeks, the site went down twice, for a total of 4 days.

The embarrassment and unprofessionalism of having to explain to the backers twice that our chosen survey website is down is unbelievable.

As of now, backer.pledgebox.com says "Whoops, looks like something went wrong"

No account links work, no survey links work, I can't access anything as a backer.

It was, admittedly, easy to use, although it also suggested to use an address that no local postmans can read correctly and everything gets delivered to a different place completely, so double check that you use correct address, not the address pledgebox autofills.

Edit: the backer's site now works, so I'll give a slightly better review 😅

Ring on pledgebox is down. Clearly pledgebox is unable to deal with slightly suitable projects. In the era of cloud computing and scalable resources this seems unacceptable. To avoid at all cost for your projects.

I have made payment for Halytus Full Hookee.
Contacted halytus, they claimed no record of order. After that no more reply from them.
What kind of service is that from Halytus.

It seems like a rip-off have to jump through lots of hoops with all kinds of passwords.
Don't get any real information they've just been pushing it on saying everything ISO k and now it's too late to get money back from my credit cards

PledgeBox operates like a legal loophole.
While they work smoothly when a Kickstarter campaign succeeds, their true colors show when a project fails. As a mere intermediary, they offer no legal recourse for backers to reclaim money spent on additional purchases beyond the original pledge. This lack of accountability leaves backers in the lurch, highlighting the risks of relying on platforms like PledgeBox.

"Kelly" is sending me spam emails very few days even when I ask her to stop. Im assuming they are using bots.

they are NOT trustworthy and I would stay clear.

there are other options that dont use illegal tactics.

Absolute scammers do not trust them.
They have no interest in any support when things go wrong.
They have scammers putting up products taking money from pledgers and then closing down ,pledgebox Kickstarter do nothing to follow it up .
They are implicated because they take a huge percent of the money that is pledged then don't care .

Just received my first PledgeBox survey for a Kickstarter project. Filled in my name, address, etc. Went to pay and was given the option of PayPal or CC. Both choices resulted in the following error message (note the bad grammar and misspellings:

The error message (see attached screengrab) says:
"Payment account error: There is an error occurred when processing your payment: creator's PayPal account has the issue that The merchant account is restricted."

The error message is so badly written - I'm not even certain which payment account is in error - mine, the creators, or the merchant's.

EXTREMELY suspicious.

The experience with Pledgebox survey was easy and simple. The amount of marketing of other products is a weekly problem. The unsubscribe will not allow you to only unsubscribe from the marketing side but will also discount you feedback on the products you backed. These should be separated, updates for Pledged products and a separate confirmation for marketing emails.
