I placed an order on the 7th of Jan, after few days they sent an email saying it was going to ship on the 12th. After that no news for few days. On the 16th they said the order was about to be shipped, they created a label on the 17th and today (the 19th) the order has not been shipped yet. I emailed more times and they just do not reply. I will have to try to get a refund from the bank/paypal.

My monstera had some diseaed leaves.
My 2 x Mothers tongue plants were lost in the post and delivered 2 weeks late whuch wasnt good for the plants.
I contacted customer care about the infected plabt and when both plants were misding but was ignored.
I did intend placing another order but will purchase somewhere else following my expetience!

Very disappointed. Ordered 3 plants on the 30th of December 2025. As of today, 12th of January 2026, I have still not received the plants. Communication is non existent - their phone number is not in function, they are not responding to my emails and whatsapp messages too.
The plants have been for 2 weeks in this cold, freezing, below 0 temperatures. They are most likely dead already.
Suggesting a refund/replacement doesn't work as they have 0 communication via their channels (what is left from at least).
I want my money back!

1 star is too much. The plant took 2 weeks to arrive and when it finally came, it was completely dead. The leaves were fully dried out and wilted and the plant had to go straight to the trash. What a waste of money and time. I ordered from Germany.

Very disappointed with this first order. The quantities do not match the order form at all, and customer support is not responding to requests to resend the missing items. I wanted to return my order, but the return process is not explained anywhere in the customer area. You have to dig through the FAQs to find it... and on top of that, the customer has to pay for the return shipping costs.

Before I ordered I checked online and found reviews and videos showing plants packed carefully in foil and arriving in good condition.
What I got looks completely different: My plants from small to large are frozen through despite paying for the heat pack. The soil is frozen solid. Some pots cracked due to the ice. Steams and leafs are frost bitten and mushy (those not still frozen). Couldn't check the roots yet - the soil has no give whatsoever because it too is frozen through, I have little hope to find roots that will survive.
My plants were not wrapped in thermo foil like I had seen, but in brown paper. The little ones came in a plastic carrier that wasn't wrapped at all.
Despite deliberately choosing the other carrier (because the delivery experience is better and the parcels in my experience are handled more carefully) the order was sent with DPD - who have mutliple days where they do not deliver standard fee deliveries (on some not even the express ones) in my area this time of the year.
I already contacted the support but have no answer yet. But some of the plants I wanted are listed as out of stock now, so there is very little chance to get what I truly wanted, even if I gave the shop a second chance.
EDIT (02.01.2026): I'll be issued a refund so I'll not lose any money but the time and energy invested in the shopping process, being around for delivery etc. was wasted. Would upgrade to 1,5* if possible because for me the total is too negative to warrant 2*.

I thought it’s going to be a nice looking plant as it is shown on the picture on their website. But what was delivered looked very poorly taken care of, plant in stress… Two leaves were damaged (beaten? torn?) and in the addition the leaves on the bottom side have brown discolouration - caused micro cell damage - brown speckles). Very upset. I wish they would take it back and give a better one…like the one they show on their website…ps. The added heat packs for which I also paid were ice-cold!
An update: they refunded 25 euro out of 75 full cost, and they didn’t want their bad plant back, which again shows they don’t care at all.

I have ordered from PLNTS hundreds of times over the years and usually I am quite happy with the plants themselves. When a plant arrives damaged, customer service normally replaces it or offers a voucher, which I appreciate.
However, the last few months have been extremely frustrating.
Shipping costs keep changing without any clear logic: first €10 to Belgium, then €6, and now suddenly free shipping from €50. That alone is confusing, but the gift card system is the real problem.
PLNTS “gift cards” are not real gift cards — they are discount codes. This means:
• You can only use one gift card per order
• Gift cards cannot be combined
• If your order is higher than the gift card value, you still pay shipping
• Even if you only need to pay a small remaining amount (e.g. €5), shipping is charged again
So in reality, these gift cards do not work like gift cards at all.
On top of that, the Advent Calendar is very disappointing. It sounds fun, but almost none of the “daily gifts” can be combined with gift cards. That makes the whole concept feel pointless.
Customer service does reply after 1–2 days and usually tries to help, but honestly, this system should simply be fixed. For a company of this size, this experience is not acceptable.
