We needed an emergency plumber to fix our macerator, so we found Plumbing Immediately by a process of elimination. They were able to come out to us straightaway. The plumber was a polite helpful chap called Connor who kept us posted on his arrival time and then during the work.
Literally the only issue - as always the case with call-outs like this - is the cost. A modest call-out fee became a very significant bill. At least it turned out to be a relatively straightforward job and no parts were needed.
And please don't quote charges without VAT. I've never understood the point. Domestic customers have to pay VAT, so tell us the charge in full upfront.

poor value.
We contacted Plumbing Immediately for what was presented as an emergency toilet unblock. From the outset there was no transparency on pricing. No clear estimate, no breakdown, just vague assurances.
We were then charged £500+ for a very quick job using basic drain rods. The toilet re-blocked within a couple of days, which clearly indicates the original issue was not properly resolved.
Despite this, Plumbing Immediately offered no warranty or guarantee on their work. When we contacted them to put it right, they refused, instead suggesting a “discount” on another paid call-out. Paying again to fix a job that was not completed properly the first time is unacceptable.
To make matters worse, they then ignored calls and emails, leaving us with no resolution. Payment was requested via bank transfer, which my wife unfortunately complied with, meaning we had no recourse through a credit card provider.
This company shows:
• No pricing transparency
• Excessive charges for minimal work
• No accountability when the work fails
• No aftercare or customer service
• Questionable payment practices
Under no circumstances would I recommend using Plumbing Immediately. If you are in an emergency situation, this is exactly the kind of company you should avoid.
I was impressed with the craftsmanship of the plumber Frankie, who was sent out to me in the late hours of the evening to restore heating in my home.

I tried to unblock my toilet for hours. I couldn't. This company saved my sanity and my toilet. They sent out an engineer in a convenient time and my toilet got fixed in no time by Andrew. He was very friendly and explained everything thoroughly. We had a nice chat.Highly recommend them.
Make sure you know your quote before commitment.

Dreadful - this company demands extortionate prices for doing minimal work - they capitalise on the fact that it is an emergency and charge through the roof for doing the bare minimum. They charge over 200 an hour - and were interested in payment rather than the problems they left my boiler with. As other reviews suggest avoid them -
A great service, the price was fair and the workmanship from the plumber was professional and friendly. I would recommend

Excellent work - really transparent about costs and time. Recommend Luka

I had an F28 error on my Vaillant boiler. While waiting for a plumber I was resetting the boiler to keep warm. A plumber came, opened the front of the boiler, said he couldn’t see anything wrong and charged me £82. He said I could ask for him to return if
the fault reappeared- which I knew it would. It did return and I called twice asking for the plumber to return and kept getting the reply “I need to check with the manager”. They had no intention of sending the plumber again and just wanted my money. A decent plumber has now found the problem (ignition electrode is faulty) and I will be demanding a refund. Unprofessional company- only want your money for the minimum work. Steer clear!!!!
Unreliable service, poor communication, and pressured payment
I had a very poor experience with Great Britain Services Ltd. I called at 9am about a leaking boiler and was promised an engineer within 90 minutes. This never happened. The first engineer later said he couldn’t attend, then cancelled entirely at 2:45pm.
I repeatedly chased the company and was assured someone would attend that evening, yet no one contacted me. After calling again almost an hour later, another engineer finally arrived at 4:30pm — hours after the promised timeframe.
I was then pressured into paying the full call-out fee on the spot, with the engineer refusing to leave without payment. I had not received the invoice beforehand and only saw it after he left. I was left with no heating or hot water in the middle of winter while caring for two babies under two, and to make matters worse, the engineer failed to put the bucket back under the leak, causing further water damage.
I emailed a formal complaint requesting a refund and received no response. This service was stressful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this company.
The plumber came out within an hour, diagnosed the leak repair and then completed the job. Frankie was very friendly and helpful. I will recommend

Booked a call out and diagnosis after my preferred engineer was not available. Within minutes of the engineer arriving I was presented with a job sheet for an hourly rate £299 per hour plus the £79 + VAT call-out, with no diagnosis. Feeling a bit of donkey and cutting my losses, I opted not to proceed after 15 mins of the engineer arriving. In their defence I have only been invoiced the £94 call-out but am no further forward. Feeling a bit of a prat.
Very friendly plumber and helpful service. They came in less than and hour and fixed my heating back on.

I definitely would not recommend this company. They said my call out charge would be £75 but charged me £95 despite the engineer no more than 30 mins and didn't fix it. The invoice they emailed me didn't have "Paid" on it, neither did it have the engineers gas Safety number and despite MULTIPLE phone calls they won't give me the number, leading me to believe that the engineer didn't actually have this. I can't get the money back for the call out now. Not happy.
Wish I had read reviews here before booking them.
* Had a broken boiler problem in zero degree weather.
* Found Plumbing Immediately online
* Asked about labour charges and was told 'engineer will make an assessment' when he arrives, so agreed to the £69 call out fee
* Call out fee literally just covers the cost of driving to your location - they won't even look at the problem until you agree to a minimum one hour £275 labour charge.
*Told the engineer I didn't want to pay this charge until I received assurances that he felt like he had a good chance of fixing the problem.
*Engineer said he will 'definitely' fix the problem, and not to worry.
*After removing some sludge, engineer decided that there was a part that needed replacing at a total cost of almost £1,200.
*At this point you might as well just buy a new boiler, so I declined.
Although the engineer arrived just after 90 mins, their pricing is disguised and extremely high. They don't tell you what the charges will be to even start looking at the problem, instead letting customers assume that the assessment is covered in the call out fee. This should be renamed to 'driving to your house fee' to be more accurate.
They use tactics like adding a 15% 'admin' fee before charging 20% VAT. Do not use this company.
I had an emergency, unidentified leak and they were able to send a very helpful man within 90 minutes to identify the source of the leak, intelligently plan how to deal with it and ultimately secure it before heading off. I was impressed with the decision making and quality of work.

To start with, I requested a call back via a link on the website, never received one. So called the next day and explained the situation that I needed a Saniflo engineer for my macerator. They turned up an hour and half later, which is good.
Connor was good, polite and efficient.
Before he started the job, he requested I read the email that had been sent to agree to the pricing and confirm the go ahead.
It's my fault that I read it quickly, just saw the figures and thought it was reasonable ish.
There was more work to be done than anticipated, over 3 hours.
When i got the invoice through for payment, which had to be settled before Connor left, it took my breath away.
£126.90 for admin fees, 3 hours work, £777.
Plus tax and call out fee, £69.
Should have read the email properly, I've been scammed.
Website very believable. Please be aware.
Frankie and Connor both did an amazing job unblocking my mnholea

Unfortunately our boiler broke so we started speaking but plumbing immediately website promised to come and fix it within 40mins with transparent pricing.
On Pricing:
They refused to give a price on the phone, insisting it was only possible once the plumber had arrived and assessed the job. This was a lie, as the only information the plumber asked for on arrival was our email address to request head office send the invoice. The price was over £400 for a job others would do for less then £200, and included an admin fee despite not having done as said on the phone (covered below).
The big problem we had, was because they delayed their arrival (below), we couldn't reject the price when he arrived because using a different plumber would involve out of hours charges - so they backed us into a corner by stringing us along.
On Timing:
I called them at 10:15 and they said they were busier but would be with me within 90minutes. I would be updated soon by the plumber.
I called again at 13:50 when they still hadn't arrived or called and they said they would contact the area manager who would call me back, before ending the call.
I called again at 16:00 when they still hadn't arrived or called. This time they went away before promising I would be called again.
Finally at 16:30 they called me and they arrived at 17:00.
The plumber did fix the issue.
Conclusion:
I will be complaining through citizens advice when they open in the morning. They did not do as promised and should be avoided.
AVOID SCAMMERS & NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE
Had a blocked drain, it wasn’t fixed, or unblocked, and left it a worse state. A hole was put in an outside pipe & not even unblocked the drain. This now needs repairing at an additional cost to me. He has charged £750 for something he hung out for 2 hours, & only drilled a hole! Shocking! He even had the cheek to tell me it should have been 3 hours. Avoid this company like the plague. They just want to drain money out of the vulnerable, no pun necessary!
Avoid this platform - they charge large, undisclosed costs - instead, go direct to a recommended expert.
This business does not appear to be a plumber or Saniflo engineer; they are simply an aggregator that arranges for other plumbers to attend (anonymous, and therefore of unknown reputation).
My problems with their service are as follows:
1) Poor communication: There was no confirmation of appointment, by text or email.
When I then called, on the appointment day, to confirm that it was going ahead, there was poor reception (so a mobile number at their end). They then called back, on an unrecognised number, and had to ask me for my details in order to find the booking.
2) Very expensive: All their "quotes" are excluding VAT and an admin fee, so don't be drawn in by "cheap" quotes.
In my case, a quoted £79 call-out cost, was actually charged at £95.
They then quoted nearly £600 to clear a blockage. This cost was in addition to the call-out cost.
I declined the job and said that I would undertake some further research.
That research showed that I could get a Saniflo approved engineer to attend, assess and fix the problem for a fixed cost of £140.
I appointed and have separately reviewed them.
3) Unpleasant procedures: The plumber who attended was inconsistent in his advice, and appeared to make a judgement about the problem without investigating it.
He didn't clearly explain next steps. I declined further work because their quote was expensive, but also because I didn't fully trust the engineer's information.
This was reinforced by his further actions.
I asked if the company would send an invoice for the call-out charge, to which he answered positively. He then sat in my kitchen, tapping away on his phone. I had to keep asking him what the procedure was and why he was still there.
In short, he didn't know, or at least gave contradictory information, culminating in his asking me to send him a copy of the call-out charge payment transfer confirmation.
Instead, when I finally received the invoice by email, I sent the payment confirmation to the contact number that I originally interacted with. I showed the payment confirmation to the plumber who attended, and asked him to leave, which he finally and grumpily did. Other, more vulnerable customers, might have found his behaviour intimidating.
As with point 1, procedures and communication were haphazard and unprofessional.
