Wonderful experience - highly recommend.

Check in could be completed on line prior to arrival. Once completed, the host provided a comprehensify outline of parking options, local traffic regulations and how to locate and enter the unit. The host was exceptional - very responsive, providing assistance when necessary and very responsive to any of our enquires.

Error with hosts??

Tried to book accommodation which showed as available. Failed. Contacted support who said it was an error with the host calendar.

Found alternative accommodation. Tried to book. Exactly the same error again. Same excuse offered up.

The booking process was really easy

The booking process was really easy, communication was seamless and the apartment was spotlessly clean. It was right in the heart of Central London however when you stepped through the front door it was an oasis of calm. Definitely will use Plum Guide again - brilliant.

Trusting PLUM to deliver all you need

I have found Plum Guide to be most satisfactory in choosing rental apartments in a number of cities in Europe. When thinking about all that is needed when one visits another city, knowing that the lodging is comfortable, safe and well located is a tremendous plus. And as important are the hosts and representatives available to meet and greet and make your stay all it needs to be.

A first timer finds and enjoys a great apartment thanks to Plum Guide

This was my first time renting an apartment short term from any service. I chose Plum Guide as my broker sent me the referral with a discount offered to his firms customers. Plum Guide screened against my requirements, I got a manageable list and have enjoyed the apt. Plum guide responds to my specific inquiries helping me navigate. Some lovely properties, but unfortunately our experience was not a good one.

Plum Guide has some wonderful properties and are operating in a cut-throat market. They seem, as they claim, to have worked hard to choose particularly interesting places to stay that stand apart from the norm.

Beware however that some bookings are not instant. Even if the property is showing as available for the dates you are booking this does not guarantee that the host will accept the booking. In our case the host did immediately cancel the booking, with no reason given. This was quite upsetting.

I realise this practice is not uncommon, but a site that describes itself as something special should perhaps be a little more careful of its customers and ask hosts to at least offer a reason why a booking is declined. It just felt peremptory and rude.

To make matter worse - and it appears this is NOT the fault of Plum Guide. The charge that was taken on my credit card was immediately voided when the booking was cancelled by the host, but it's now 6 business days on and that pending charge has still not been removed from my card. This appears to be the bank's fault however.

Will I try again in the future? Probably. Their agents were very responsive and helpful.

As advertised and we loved it!

The marketing of properties of Plum Guide was what drew me to their site; they do a fantastic job. I'm glad to report that the property we chose was true to what was advertised. Check-in instructions were clear and they reached out several times prior to check-in to see if we needed additional assistance such as transportation and house cleaning arrangements. Will be using Plum Guide again on our next international trip.

Exceptional Care Team

Plum Guide takes the quality and standards it sets for its host properties very seriously. The Care Team is exceptional!
We had booked an apartment through Plum Guide, which was subpar: the apartment did not look like the pictures posted and had stained carpets, poor heating, etc.
I sent a complaint to Plum Guide with supporting pictures and the Care Team kept me informed as they investigated. The apartment and the host are now permanently not listed on Plum Guide.
My trust in the Plum Guide selection has grown. From the first message of my complaint to the resolution, the process was impeccable. Plum Guide proved its worthiness.

The Perfect Place for a Multigenerational Christmas

The Light Eternal was the perfect place for us to experience a multigenerational holiday visit to Barcelona - age span between 6 and 77. It is a spacious apartment in the center of the city, making it easy to get to sights or just explore. We felt like we were part of the neighborhood - we loved the tiny bread store around the corner, the small markets just across the street, and amazing restaurants just blocks away. The large bedrooms (and beds) were a treat. We love cooking the incredible food available in local markets and suggested a few more cooking utensils and repairs in the kitchen and received a very positive response from the management team. This was a good find.
