Plutio customer service fixed my problem!

I've been using Plutio for about a year now and found it has a healthy range of all tools needed to run a startup firm in architectural design. When there is a bug, I have been able to get it fixed with customer service. Leo fixed my problem today with smtp email configuration!
This platform may not have the large market share of some other platforms, yet it is feature rich and flexible in a way those are not. It has an incredibly clean and uncluttered interface which is important to me.

Horrendous Customer Support

I was trying out Plutio and ran into an issue syncing it with my Google Workspace calendar. I reached out to support and experienced some of the worst customer support.

I used the platform’s built-in chat, but it would take them hours to respond, and the chat was deleted four times, so I had to go through the process of contacting them and explaining the issue multiple times.

Support couldn’t have been less interested in helping me resolve the issue and was more interested in telling me, multiple times, that it was working for everyone else. Their only suggestion was to disconnect it and reconnect.

They eventually informed me that the issue had been resolved, but it hadn’t. As of writing this, it’s been four days since I told them it wasn’t fixed, and I haven’t heard from them.

The name on the chat and email was Leo, the founder of Plutio, so this wasn’t just some random support person.

Obviously, I decided not to go with Plutio since they are so unreliable. I strongly suggest anyone considering them test out their support first.

Great tool with excellent support

I’ve been using Plutio since the beginning of the year for my proposals and invoices and I’m really impressed. The platform is very intuitive and easy to use. The support team is always quick to respond, helpful and works hard to find solutions fast.

I had been looking for a system for a long time where I could build proposals in a modular way, add client-specific extras and attach the contract right away.

Plutio delivers exactly that, so I am very satisfied!

Lacking fundamental components. Very weak! Much better options for the price.

Sadly, Plutio displays false advertising when it comes to their "automations" features displayed all over their website. Not only are the majority of the platform's workspaces completely disconnected, having no consistent task synchronization across different data tables, but the there is no internal automation tool that allows the configuration of triggering specific actions. For any real automation capabilities with standardized trigger, condition, action parameters, Plutio refers users to utilizing third party APIs and NCL tools such as Zapier or Make. you

I emailed them my desire to cancel and requested a refund. They declined my request and only refuted the shortcomings that I addressed with them.

Here's a segment of my request that Plutio declined:

After reviewing the advertised specifications and platform capabilities of Plutio, we signed up
for an annual subscription under the agency plan. However, we soon discovered that the
platform does not meet several essential requirements for our operations. It lacks consistency in
task identification, and it fails to retain assigned task data and property values across its various
tools.
While we appreciate the numerous templates and customization options, the platform falls
short in effectively triggering task creation with proper DDS or placeholder specifications, other
than in its proposal and contract generation features. Even with snippets, the inability to create
tasks using pre-designed templates with snippet inserts hampers our workflows and prevents
automation within the platform.
We reached out to support regarding these issues and received confirmation that the features we
need are unavailable in Plutio. Additionally, relying on third-party integrations or API
implementations would still lead to significant shortcomings in key operational components.
Fulfilling our minimum requirements through integrations would require extensive
customization for each client using the platform. Please see the attached PDF of an email
thread containing Plutio support's response to one of our requests for reference.
Lastly, the platform's ability to translate certain terminology (e.g., projects) is severely lacking.
While customizing portals and menu labels is useful, translating all key terms across the
platform is not an option, which could create confusion for clients and internal users.
However, Plutio's failure to meet our expectations stems from a
misrepresentation of its advertised features. Therefore, we request a pro-rated refund to
reimburse us for the remaining 10 months of our annual subscription that we have not utilized.

Will be using Plutio for years to come

I've used Plutio a couple of times for a couple of businesses in a freelance capacity. Whilst I don't run the invoicing side (I have a dedicated platform provided by my accountant), the rest of the system is superb.

It's great to be able to combine the functions of a straightforward CRM to track customers and sales pipelines, a proposal and contract manager, and a project management tool with integrated time tracker.

Not sure what the other negative reviews are talking about, maybe it's not for them, but I love the platform and it's a sensible price for all the features it packs in.

Highly recommend

I am a solopreneur who has been using Plutio since 2017 and over the years, it has improved to the point where almost all of my business is managed through it.

My clients are non-technical minded and I was able to create a Client Portal hosted on Plutio to collaboratively work with them to get their project done and for ongoing support.

From the initial Proposal through Project and then to ongoing support subscription, I handle my business all in one place.

I run my business through Plutio. It's been a game changer. Would recommend it to anyone.

The main benefit is that it's very customizable, making it suit my needs.

They are also still releasing great updates very frequently, so it only becomes better and better.

I have been using Plutio for about 3…

I have been using Plutio for about 3 years now for my freelance work, I don’t have a team so everything I input is just for me to keep organised. The features I use the most is invoicing, subscriptions and contracts, as well as keeping records with my client contacts with regular notes.

Il be honest, earlier this year I was looking to jump ship as the founder of plutio went radio silent, minimal updates and support with given and things seemed bad. However, it seems the founder has gotten back on track and is not only keeping the community up to date but also getting their feedback. After trying a competitor (Agiled) I was missing some many features that I took for granted and the ease of use that Plutio provides. I have now doubled down and got a second workspace for my other freeelance venture after speaking with their team and being reassured.

There are features I’m missing like automation in contracts and productised services, but for my use, the core platform is a smooth system that works well for me.
