Got there eventually!!

The sauna pod didn't work out-of-the box as advertised due to lower heater output. However, the team met my needs with amazing support and I am now extremely happy with my smoking-hot indoor sauna tent.

Tamara was my customer-facing rep and was helpful, positive, and a pleasure to work with.

Needs a lot of extra effort to reach optimal temps

The sauna is advertised as being able to reach 185 degrees, but I have never gotten it hotter than 145-150 after an hour of heating. Saunas need to reach at least 150 degrees in order for them to be beneficial to cardiovascular health, and this barely reaches that threshold, and only after A LOT of help. It's important that the ambient air around the sauna be at least 70 degrees, that moving blankets or woolen blankets be draped all over it and around it, and that the heater is plugged into its own 20A outlet; with those three things in place, it still takes an hour to get it to 145-150. After about a half hour of heating, it'll definitely reach about 130, which is hot enough to sweat, but if you're looking for the actual cardiovascular health benefits of taking saunas, put the extra effort in to get it hot enough.

The SaunaPod heater is capable of reaching temperatures up to 185°F under ideal conditions, and the expected operating range for most users is typically between 150–185°F depending on factors such as ambient room temperature, electrical supply, heat loss when entering the sauna, and where the thermometer is placed. Portable saunas naturally have temperature variation within the enclosure because heat rises and cooler air stays lower.

Based on the information previously shared with our support team, the temperatures you reported are within the normal operating range for many portable sauna environments, especially during colder months or when heat escapes during entry. This does not indicate that the heater itself is defective.

Highly Recommend

I am writing to share my exceptional experience with the Ice Pod Pro and Pro Chiller, which I have used since October. Switching from bags of ice to the Pro Chiller has been a game-changer; the water remains crystal clear and steady at 49°F.

Recently, while changing the water, I discovered condensation between the inner and outer walls. I reached out to customer service, and Maria was incredibly helpful. After I provided a video of the issue, she processed a replacement Pod Pro at no cost to me within just four hours.

I am thoroughly impressed by the company’s accountability and commitment to stand behind their products. This level of service is rare today, and they have earned a customer for life!

Excellent Customer Service

Had an issue with a small part on my chiller hose, so I contacted The POD Company customer service and within 24 hrs, Maria replied with a solution to my issue and the part will be delivered in 3-5 days! Couldn’t ask for a quicker and more proactive response. Thank You! Brian

Great product & customer service

Great product and great customer service. Order has been shipped within 2 days. After having small troubles 3 month later the customer service helped solving the issue within less than 2 hours and send out a replacement part.

Great Product and Service

First of all, so grateful Sauna Pod has made a quality Sauna accessible to those who cannot splurge on the more expensive alternatives. Being able to implement a sauna habit in my life has been a huge upgrade to my quality of life both now and for my future self. Second, their quick response and solution to an issue that came up with my sauna had made me an even greater fan! Thanks for assisting in keeping me healthy!

Original chiller stopped working

Original chiller stopped working. Contacted customer support and they helped me troubleshoot the problem. Once we found that the issue could not be fixed they sent a replacement promptly. Great customer service and help along the way, I greatly appreciate it.

Don't buy a cheap chiller from amazon

I bought a long pod last year and have used it every day. I bought a cheap chiller from Amazon and it never cleaned the water and finally broke down after 8 months. I went back to the Pod Company and ordered one of their standard chillers. Meghan was very helpful and helped me complete my purchase. I am an exclusive customer for life.
