The installation itself was carried out to a very high standard. David was professional, neat, and tidy throughout, and took the time to walk me through the app and assist with the setup, which was appreciated. 5 ⭐
However, the process leading up to the installation was very poor. There was almost a three-week delay from Pod Point, during which I had to chase by calling customer services myself. Despite sending two emails clearly stating my available dates, a completely different date was proposed, which was frustrating and unnecessary.
The additional £200 charge, paid prior to installation, was also excessive. This covered only an extra 8 metres of cable and approximately 3 hours of labour, which does not justify the cost.
David’s work was excellent, but the poor communication, significant delays, and unjustified additional charge seriously impacted what should have been a straightforward experience.

Jim was very polite and personable, he was also very knowledgeable, he took time to explain to us.

Installer kindly came back later when I was on the school run at 8am. Worked quickly and efficiently when he was here and installed the charger as per my requirements. Made sure all was working before he left!

installer came out to first look at my house before the install date was told I would need to pay £200 for extra cable casing. the day of the install he managed to run the cable without and was told we would be refunded the £200 yet to see it!!! also any time you try to call in to have this resolved it never happens and there is clearly a communication issue and no one else you can speak to all you get told is I will send a form to be filled in and it never comes through. the emails that do get sent are something completely different to what the call was about its beyond a joke refused to do the install until the £200 was paid and now the install has been done and by the way the installer was great just the customer service after the fact its absolutely shocking!!!!!

Straightforward installation by engineer who kept me updated all the way though.

Pod solution is easy to use and really simple to navigate though.

Engineer engaged and discussed installation, useful knowledge to have when operating the new Pod Point. Very friendly and took less than an hour to install.

Staff answered my question by email quickly and in language I could understand. I followed the instructions and my problem was resolved.

From my initial phone call to podpoint, through to completing the questionnaire, and subsequent installation, everything went smoothly.

The installer (Corey), was really helpful and easily answered all of my questions.

No issues with using the charger so far.

The charger was installed today but I am unable to use it as will not connect with my car.
