Interesting podcast, weird business model
Tried to install podimo via Google play store but it was not available in UK. Tried directly the website, same, not available in UK. They take your money but that's it. I requested my money back (even wrote an email via they website), didn't even get a reaction / answer. I don't trust them. All my favourite podcasts which moved to podimo lost me as its audience. Pity but hey, that's life.

It is true that we are not in UK Google Play Store at this point in time, since we haven't launched in the UK yet. We are working on a solution to make the app available in countries we haven't launched in yet.

Worth the money
I was looking for the possibility to hear audio books without limit. Can start new ones, if I don't like the one I've selected and downloads them to hear them on my hikes without having internet access. I got all of this with Podimo for a valuable price and the possibility to terminate my subscription whenever I like. That's perfect for me. Meanwhile I also detected interesting Podcasts which was not my initial intention. I also like the proposals according to former audio books or speakers. I miss a bit more known authors and famous number one titles but maybe you can not expect this for an amount of 5€ a month. I still have a lot of books on my list I want to listen to.

Not perfect yet, but getting there.
I am a paying user and work at the company. I listen to both english, spanish and a some danish podcasts. Audiobooks was added recently and now I get to play to my daughter some nice stories for her to learn danish as well.

Wants you to pay for a subscription model when you can get most of the Podcasts for free. Serious podcasters actually warn their audience about this app / service. Don't fall for it.

However, Podimo is full of great podcasts from around the world, available for free via open RSS feeds. We also have hundreds of new and unique shows that can’t be found anywhere else, available through a subscription. Every time a member listens to a show, we give the share of their membership fee directly to the podcaster. Specifically, the monthly membership fee from a particular user is paid out proportionally to the podcasts she or he listened to that month - depending on which one was listened to the most. This way, Podimo listeners can directly support their favorite podcasters every time they press play.
