Manzoor delivered car. He was very polite and the communication was fantastic.podium is good company
Podium has been an extremely USELESS
Podium has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The app works poorly, notifications are often delayed by hours, and when I do get a notification it’s incredibly hard to even find the message once I open the app. Sometimes it doesn’t show up at all.
They promised call screening and simply don’t deliver on it. The AI bot does the opposite of helping. It answers questions incorrectly, confuses clients, and ultimately creates more work for me, not less. Calling it a free add-on doesn’t help when it actively makes the service worse.
I’ve also had seven different customer success managers, which means no one ever knows my account, my business, or the ongoing issues. Every complaint starts from scratch. There is zero continuity or accountability.
The pricing is astronomical for how unreliable and clunky the platform is. For what they charge, I expected a streamlined, dependable business communication tool, not something that actively interferes with daily operations.
I would not recommend Podium to any business that relies on timely notifications, accurate client communication, or real customer support.
Terrible experience. Do not recommend
Started out well, but after a couple of years we realised what terrible value for money this service is. They make you do all the work for no results while they collect the fees.
We have been trying to cancel for months (including in writing) which they ignore. They just continue to take payments. We blocked payment with our credit card provider, so they set up a new merchant code and went back to debiting.
Now they say we are contracted for a further 12 months. They claim they sent us a renewal agreement recently which we have no record of.
Pricing Is an issue. It keeps increasing as service declines. We were charged over $1,200 per month while only sending a few campaigns a year. The larger your database, the higher the tier they lock you into. Absolutely no consistency or transparency in billing.
Podium is good at aggressive sales tactics. Terrible at customer service.
6 years of telling them I'm not…
6 years of telling them I'm not interested and they still continue to call and pester. A cleaver person would have moved on.
They are perpetual callers who bug the crap out of you

Burnetts Automotive on McCall Rd
Burnetts Automotive on McCall Rd. Manhattan, Kansas. A long time car repair, tires, battery business in Manhattan. I drive an older car, Burnetts has worked on this car large and small repairs, tires and battery replacement. Always an excellent results with the repairs with reasonable pricing. So never dis appointed with their service. More importantly their customer service is more than expected, I am much older than I used to be, so their respect and consideration, their appreciation of me as a person and customer is important. I find that doing business with this company is a good thing for me.
Excellent Digital Podiums and LED Displays
We recently got a digital podium from Purplewave FZE and it works great. The touch display is smooth, all ports are easily accessible, and setup was quick. Highly recommend for schools, offices, and corporate events.
When will these people quit calling
I really wish I had read these reviews…
I really wish I had read these reviews before signing up! We chose Podium mainly because of the advertised QuickBooks integration for reviews—but that feature never worked as promised. We decided to cancel and switch providers.
Initially, Podium claimed I hadn’t contacted them within the required 30-day window, so they said I’d have to keep paying for another month. Then, trying to get the PIN to port my number to a new carrier was a nightmare—they seemed to hold it hostage. It took three weeks and countless emails and phone calls before I finally got the PIN.
Now, two months after my original cancellation request, they’re telling me I’m locked into the contract for another year! Most responses I get seem automated, and there’s zero sense of urgency—unlike the prompt replies now that I’m pushing to cancel.
Horrible customer service. Avoid this company at all costs!

Do not recommend
Podium seemed perfect at first glance. After we found a more affordable alternative we put a cancellation request in that was then ignored for 2 months. I contacted customer support and they said the account manager had to process the request. Our account manager wants to "discuss" our subscription instead of cancelling it. They have been charging our card for 3 months after we stopped using the service. We ended up having to reach out to Visa to block all payments to Podium. Very unprofessional and unethical.
Avoid, avoid, avoid
Avoid! Avoid! Their product works OK, but their company culture is horrendous, fraudulent, and incompetent. I was a customer for a few years. Like I said, their product mostly works but, if you ever have an issue, good luck. And, if you ever need to make the slightest modification to your settings, Podium restarts your contract. I've never encountered a company like this in my 20 years in Tech.
Warning Waste of time and money to all E-Commerce Businesses
Warning to All E-Commerce Businesses
Podium is not a suitable product for online stores. It does not support Google product reviews, which are essential for generating Google Shopping Star Ratings and boosting ad performance.
This platform is clearly built for brick-and-mortar businesses that rely on Google Maps and location-based reviews, not for e-commerce operations.
💰 The costs are outrageously high compared to the limited functionality provided.
❌ No product review integration
❌ Not built for Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
❌ Poor value for money
If your business relies on product reviews to drive sales, avoid Podium. There are far better, more affordable review platforms made specifically for e-commerce.
Podum ask for a 12 month contract after signing it they change there costings I still could get out of my contract
SCAM COMPANY – DO NOT SIGN WITH PODIUM
Avoid this company like the plague. Podium is a textbook example of dishonest business practices. They promise flexibility, then trap you into a contract you can’t get out of — and then have the audacity to keep billing you even after you’ve tried to cancel multiple times.
We were told our contract ended in August 2025, and tried cancelling MONTHS ago. Only now are we being told it’s actually August 2026? Total bait and switch tactics.
The platform barely works (messages now fail to send!), and their customer service is a joke — unresponsive, dismissive, and conveniently silent when it comes to cancelling. No transparency. No accountability. Just empty promises followed by unauthorised charges.
We’ve now had to escalate through the Australian Small Business Ombudsman and dispute the charges through Capricorn, since they’ve ignored our emails and failed to follow through on their own contract terms.
If you’re a small business, DO NOT TOUCH PODIUM.
They’ll lock you in, bleed your bank account dry, and leave you with a broken platform and zero support.
Our experience with Podium has been overpromised and way underdeliver
Our experience with Podium has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend their services to any business.
At signup, we were promised a call queue feature, which was not available until eight months later.
The call reporting tools were inadequate, providing little to no insight into where calls were coming from.
Phone quality was consistently poor, with many customers unable to hear us clearly.
A significant number of our text messages failed to deliver, and because there were no notifications, we lost valuable customer opportunities.
Customer service has been ineffective. We were repeatedly transferred between agents, and follow-up on issues was virtually nonexistent.
The service is priced at nearly three times higher than comparable platforms, despite offering less reliability.
Finally, when we attempted to cancel, our contract specified that cancellation within one month of the next billing cycle would avoid additional charges. We canceled 31 days before our next payment, yet Podium still attempted to bill us for another full month.
Overall, Podium has over-promised and under-delivered at every stage. The lack of reliability, poor communication, and disregard for contractual terms make this platform an extremely poor choice for any business looking for dependable communication solutions.
Two stars = Nice ppl but bad service
Writing a review after being a customer for over a year now. Right from the start of the contract I felt like I wasn’t getting what was advertised to me at the time. And said features were additional add ons costing me more money. After consulting with a representative at a coffee shop and doing some strategy, it still didn’t work and most of my customers stopped receiving sms because well it’s annoying. Then I tried to cancel and they would not stating I was locked into this contract and could not leave without paying a fine. Well I stuck out the contract and now I’m getting a phone service for a fraction of the cost and all the same features. $500/month compared to $50/month. Pretty much a no brainer to switch. Two stars just because they were nice but they just sucked.
Trash Cans
If you’ve ever wanted to feel like you’re breaking up with a clingy ex, Podium’s cancellation policy is here to make your dreams come true!
Apparently, to cancel your account you need to notify them 30 days before your contract ends which is adorable, because who doesn’t plan their relationship breakups a full month in advance?
It’s like this:
Want to cancel? Too late!
Didn’t mark the exact date in your calendar back when you were young, full of hope, and signing the contract? Congrats, you’re auto-renewed for another year! 🎉
On the bright side, they do make sure you’ll never forget them because nothing sticks in your memory like monthly charges and the sweet sound of customer service saying, “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do.”
Would I recommend Podium?
Absolutely Not… if you enjoy time travel, because you’ll need to go back in time to cancel on the right day.
Ok product
Ok product. Over priced. And once you're onboarded, the customer service is lacking. Unethical billing practices.
If I could give 0 stars
If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Podium may have tools to support automation, but its customer service is the worst we’ve experienced. We spent months trying to cancel our account—despite our contract ending, they continued charging us and failed to process the cancellation in a timely manner. Communication was almost non-existent. Our account manager kept changing with no updates, no continuity, and zero accountability. Even after finally closing the account, they made no effort to reimburse the extra months they charged us. An expensive and frustrating experience—absolutely would not recommend.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
*AVOID AT ALL COSTS - DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING*
Read reviews from any online platform about this organisation before you proceed. They will use every sales tactic in the book to usher you towards signing a contract. Prices that were agreed will increase rapidly and promptly after they have your payment details. They promised that the we would be able to cancel at anytime. When we requested to cancel after some insane charges to our payment card, they blatantly ignored our request. This forced us to lodge chargebacks with our payment institution and block any future transactions from the company. Ombudsman and ACCC are working with us now to force some normal level of business ethics onto this organisation. What is more concerning is the ACCC were aware of “issues” surrounding PODIUM CORPORATION (AUS) PTY LTD in Australia as well as their entity in Utah in the US, Pdoim Corporation Inc. Just don’t do it to yourself. Have a look at Birdeye and the many other cheaper alternatives to a pretty basic piece of software.
