While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I don't use POEditor very often but whenever I use it, I'm very satisfied with it. It's pretty straightforward to use and it does a great job in keeping the strings in order and enumerate the various tabs. I appreciate also the feature that lets you know when the translation is way longer than the original text. Definitely recommend it!
I'm the CTO of a software vendor delivering an Energy Mgmt System SaaS platform for large accounts.
POEditor is a real time saver for us. It also dramatically increases the quality of our translation process.
It doesn't do a lot of things but what it does, it does it very well and goes straight to the point.
It supports quite a few file formats, including ours. It's very easy to get started. The UI is simple and intuitive. The API allowed us to integrate the translations in our CI/CD process.
Last but not least: The support is outstanding!
Very expensive and unwieldy, has not been a time saver.

I used a few translation apps in my life and this one was by far the easiest to navigate. Would be nice to have more features for Quality Control though.

Terrible service with poor UI caused double charge for my translations. They just "group" all orders that might be draft and send it to translation. There is no way to cancel order, even after 3 minutes after submit. They don't want to make refund.
Much better alternatives exists on the market. Just don't use it

I am the lead developer for an open source project, and we use PoEditor to manage our translations and translator team.
PoEditor makes it super easy to not only manage translation, but also to integrate their progress into your project via their API.
I cannot recommend PoEditor.com enough.
I managed the translation of my open source game using poeditor. It worked very well for me.
I use POEditor for a small open source project after running a trial with 3 other localization services. The project's translation files were constantly out of date since it was difficult to find what changed after terms were added or updated from the primary language.
POEditors GitHub integration is great, makes it very easy to keep things up to date. Far more convenient than any of the other services I evaluated. Even with that integration I still wish they took the next step and provided a way to automatically pull new terms from git as they appear and push new translations as they are made. Also there doesn't seem to be a way to get notifications when new translations are made - since there aren't automatic pushes I need to go and check if anyone has made updates periodically.
The dashboards are great, I can see all the changes people are making and exactly how far along translations are for each language. It would be nice if there were status badges that I could embed in the projects website like transifex has.
POEDITOR is now the official tool for the recalbox community i18n translations, for both the recalbox frontend and website.
The frontend is really easy to use for non technical translators. The exporting tools are really easy to configure.
We recommend.
I've first heard of the localization platform POEditor in a tweet. The author said this app could be connected to Github to manage localization more easily, and as I host my language files there, I decided to give it a try. Proved to be one the best decisions I ever made.
