If I could give less than 1 star I would

Despite having held this account for around 10 years and already verified my ID when I signed up, at length (they only seem to care about your identity if you are withdrawing winnings not when you are losing)

They have blocked a recent withdrawal

They did not tell me why, or that it would be stopped

They only left a message in the accounts tab under pending saying to email them

I emailed them

They requested new ID documents stating that they need to check who I am...

Who I am hasnt changed, my payment method hasnt changed, they were happy to take my money but not give it back.

I sent what ID documents I have, 2 weeks ago, I have contacted their twitter support page, and been on the live chat numerous times

This site is a joke. It's not even a lot of money, but you can tell when you go into profit as the original payment method is no longer used and they insist you select another to repay you

Which I did.

Again ive used this site for a decade now and I am genuinely concerned they are just going to hold the funds or close the account and I have no recourse

They have 0 customer service and no contact number

i wouldn’t give it any stars it is annoying that if you have a problem no one can help i have been in a chat for over an hour first agent just left second agent ended chat happy to take money and happy not to help people with queries it’s disgraceful

DO NOT USE THIS SITE - they continiously took money from me dispite me being GAMSTOPPED in the UK. I took it up with my bank barclays who are currently investigating. Pokerstarz closed my account down so I have no way or reaching out to customer services.

They know they are in the wrong as some transactions were actually refunded!!

Utterly appalling customer service. Online chat does nothing but "transfer you to the responsible team" who may or may not send you an email which is then routinely ignored.

They will accept your deposit before freezing your account which is then practically impossible to re active.

Clearly they don't care about the players.

Disgraceful.

I will give it 1 star because that is the minimum.

They rip off in every respect, putting money on and taking money off when you have won, that is bad enough.

Customer service awful take three days to answer and then never deal with it send you a record message .

On the poker site itself it setup senecios on every hand, disappointing, even thou they claim it is a random flop (definitely not true), on each day that you play there 100 different ridiculous sceneries they are near impossible to happen when you play live.

I advise strongly never put a lot of money on this site ever.
It is disappointing ever since there where split between UK and Ireland and European it is not a site you can play as only Brazilian win every hand which is not possible unless is setup.

What's the point in a live chat when no one responds!!!

Check youtube for videos on their slot features they ain't even worth playing for, I use to play on big bite rtp it 94.50% yet if you watch the the videos you will see if nothing of the sort,, they red flag your account when your up to claw money back,, watch the videos

Awful. Verified 3 days ago. Not paid. Live chat = no reply for 3 days during whole day. Emails ignored 3 days.

Worst company going hiding from customers. No head office number. Owned by flutter... so part of sky bet, paddy power etc. Do not use pokerstars .. nothing but stress

Site functionality is ok, but customer service is TERRIBLE.

Withdrawal requested more than a week ago, still showing as pending.

I’ve received nothing from them other than threats to cancel the withdrawal if I’m not in contact.

No response to 3 or 4 separate emails. No phone number to call and no one will call me.

Takes literally hours to get through to anyone on live chat by which time you’ve either given up or the connection’s timed out.

On the rare occasion you do get through to someone, they’re useless and tell you to wait for an email which never comes.

All the while they’ll happily send offers and bait you for deposits.

Joke of a company. Avoid if you value your time & money.

New to pokerstars...I've been playing on 888 and partypoker for 6 year..888 I took a 5 year break from and I'm currently going through a downswing with partypoker..pokerstars I'm in profit and they are treating me good...I won entry into Sunday million via 1.50 spin and go... keep up the good work. This company is truly, truly awful. The website is a shambles, uploading doesn't work, customer service is virtually non-existent etc etc. The chat bot is useless and then you wait hours to communicate with an actual person. The actual person has so many chats on the go, you then wait ages for a reply. Then there is the issue of conflicting requirements. I wasted hours of my life on these jokers - and that is just trying to register! Thank goodness I never got to the stage of depositing money. One star is way too good for these people. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

It takes days to reply, unbelievable.
Each day only 1 reply if you are lucky, sometimes 3 days with no reply, regardless of how fast i reply.

It's just mezmerizing.

You will top up your account without any problems. Your money will be accepted without any verification. But if you want to withdraw your money even to the card from which you deposited the money, you will have to provide a lot of documents and bank statements before you can get your money back. Identity verification should take place at the stage of replenishment of the account, why do you accept money without checking any documents? It's been more than 20 days and I can't get my 200€ back.

Customer service is an absolute disgrace, I currently have over £1k in my balance which I can’t withdraw and no one to help resolve. No email address that is answered, no tel number and a chat service that takes an age and just boots you!
Genuinely slightly worried this site is now ran by scam artists

Their customer service is a disgrace. I've been waiting for a month to resolve my issue. They don't reply to emails; it takes hours to get through on live chat, and when I do, one of two things happens: they disconnect, leaving me to wait hours again, or they say they'll escalate to another department.
Absolute joke.

This company is unreal - I have had a verified account since 2016 but had not used it for like 2 years. I logged in last night, deposited £25 and my account was immediately restricted. I then received an email saying they wanted my bank statements, which I will not send (there are plenty of investigative stories that show what gambling companies do with bank statements).

Unfortunately they dont have any emails that accept responses. I went onto live chat where I stated I wont send my bank statements and that they need to refund my deposit to the original card and close the account, the agent just ended the chat. I tried again and the agent was again so rude, purposely acting like a robot and not responding to my questions before ending the chat.

I have now submitted a complaint to IBAS to get my measly £25 back.

Online Software Discrepancies with PokerStars

- [ ] Dealt same hand as someone else and split pots suspiciously way to often.
- [ ] See high pocket pairs dealt regular, if I have Aces, someone will always have a smaller pair and hit trips!
- [ ] So much suspicious play, I’ve had on numerous occasions, running close to the money in tournaments, I get Aces and go all in preflop…only to find someone will call taking themselves all in!! With something like 6-4os and hits a godamn straight or full house on the flop!! Who the fcuk does that unless you know what cards are coming!!!
- [ ] If I have kings, there is every single time an Ace appears on the flop! Reminder!! 52 cards in a deck, and hey presto some jerk with A-6os wins!!
- [ ] Flop shows pairs more than it would in reality, for example, I counted this happening at the start of my last tourney over 20 hands it happened 12 times….. 60% of flops dealt show a pair!! Again… another reminder…. 52 cards in the deck!!
- [ ] When I’m 96% -98% pot odds winning a hand, my actual wins from that position is around 10%-15%, as the software “predictably” pulls out the only 1 or 2 cards in the entire deck of 52 cards to beat my hand!!
- [ ] Every now and again you do get a run of hands that do actually win! But these are very few and far between, and most importantly, NEVER.. At key stages when you want it to be, they always lose at that point!!
- [ ] I’ve played poker stars for about 5+ years now, and have tried to complain about it to the customer services on numerous occasions, only to be sent a pretyped letter about how the software is completely random and is audited regularly….. HOWEVER POKERSTARS!!!! If it’s that godamn random, how is it I can be way in front on a hand (talking 96+ %) but know that the card to beat my hand is coming before it’s shown on screen???
- [ ] I actually asked customer services about conducted an independent check of the software myself, as they say it’s an independent inspection…… they just closed the chat on me!!!
- [ ] Bad beats!!! I’ve had so many, I’ve even been beat while I had a Royal flush!!! Hear me out…. I flopped the Royal flush and was slow playing it, had a couple of players in the pot raising it a little, got to the river and one of the players went all in, and as soon as that happened I got disconnected!! Even though my WiFi signal was absolutely fine!! And had been for the last 4 or 5hrs I was playing before this!! I complained about that and again had the chat session closed down on me.
- [ ] The times I’ve had straight flushes and 4 of a kind beat as well, absolutely ridiculous, I feel my account has been hacked or it is the biggest scam in history!! Would not surprise me if this site…. And all of the other online poker sites!! in my view none of them can be trusted.. it’s about time the authorities come down on it all,

Signed up, deposited £10 (so, so glad it wasn’t more) and almost immediately had my account suspended for no apparent reason. I hadn’t even played a hand.
Received an email asking for some documents so I obliged… no response. (Funny that they should do this AFTER I deposited some money…)
Clicked on “contact us” but you can’t use this section without an account… Which they had taken away from me.

Absolute scammers. Why is this website still going?

They sent me a promotional offer which sounded good so I made a deposit. The offer was a 100% bonus on my deposit and for every $3 paid in ‘rake’ it would unlock $1 of the bonus given.

Simple enough… or so I thought. Little did I know it was a deliberate effort to confuse and mislead customers like myself.

The amount ‘raked’ is not how much of your bonus you have played through, only a very tiny fraction of it would be rake (about 10 cents) for every dollar spent. So it would take a ridiculously long amount of time to qualify to unlock the bonus. You would need to spend about $30 to unlock a single dollar. Totally bonkers.

I asked to speak to a manager but apparently no managers are available to help out customers. You would assume it would be their job to deal with any unresolved complaints.

This was a deliberate effort to confuse and mislead, because

a) why was the term ‘rake’ not clearly defined within the email?

b) why were the exact amounts of the fractions for term ‘rake’ not clearly laid out, and examples given. It was all deliberately omitted from the email.

I would also like to point out that the spin and go $1 tickets for which the prizes can be anything from $2, $3 or more, for a 3 player game had a tendency of landing on $2 a lot!

And I would assume I had a mathematically (not impossible) but improbable number of bad hands! Seems a little suspicious.

But that isn’t my main gripe. The main gripe is that they are scamsters and con artists because I played through plenty of ‘rake’ as far as I’m concerned. Somebody won it so therefore it was all ‘rake’.
