36 videos in with Poko Motion and I'm still using it regularly

EDIT July 10, 2026: Bumping the rating to 5-Star as I am now getting video quality consistently good.
***************
36 videos in with Poko Motion and I'm still using it regularly. Quality has been better than I expected, a few I made today were some of the best results yet. What's kept me around is how fast this team moves, they rolled out parallel video generation with a queue within days of me starting, up to 5 videos running at once, and cleaned up the setup flow so picking aspect ratio and style is now two clear steps instead of aspect ratio somewhat hidden or default that I had discovered after getting my very first video generation.

Support has been quick and actually useful every time I've reached out.

The AI agent glitches sometimes, I've had to redo a video here and there, but between the output quality and how responsive the team is, it hasn't been enough to make me look elsewhere.

With time and they will mature to a level where I wouldn't be surprised if they deserve 5-star rating pretty soon.

Excellent Results Once You Develop a Workflow

I use Poko Motion to create product marketing videos for my publishing business. There was a learning curve at first, but once I developed a structured workflow, the results became consistently excellent.

The biggest strengths are the clean interface, responsive founders, and the quality of the videos. I also appreciate that the team actively improves the product based on user feedback. My latest professional-quality trailer cost about $7 to produce, which is outstanding value compared to traditional video production.

If you’re willing to spend a little time planning your projects instead of relying entirely on AI improvisation, Poko Motion is a very capable tool.

Poko Motion Is Exactly What I Needed

Created my first video using Poko Motion and it was a hit. The app is very easy to work within and it does exactly what it says. I also had a wonderful onboarding/demo meeting with Sam and he answered all my questions. My experience using Poko Motion out of the gate has been positive and I'm excited to continue using it as the product continues to evolve.

Impressive “love at first sight” videos from a simple prompt

I was genuinely impressed by Poko from the very first output. With just a one-line prompt, it was able to pull together all the necessary pieces using AI agents, so I didn’t have to think through how to write a perfect instruction.

I tested it with four materials: two landing pages, one PowerPoint, and one article. In just one go, Poko extracted around 90% of the key content and turned it into clear, effective messaging. The final video was short, direct, easy to understand, and visually pleasant — the kind of result that feels like “love at first sight.”

There are still a few areas I hope to see improved. For example, Traditional Chinese narration can be mispronounced by the default voiceover provider (to my large surprise the AI agent was able to self evaluate and identify the cause of such written script vs. pronounciation issue... it was resolved by the AI agent). The UI also feels a bit too technical at first glance, which may be intimidating for less technical users. Even I didn’t immediately realize it could be as simple as asking it to “create a stunning explainer video” without adding detailed instructions.

Another point is that the cost of using BYOK may be a bit high, since each run already costs around $3, and it can add up quickly if you need to correct or update anything. That makes it even more important to think carefully about what to include in the first prompt.

A cleaner first-time experience could help a lot — for example, hiding the agent conversation unless users choose to open it, and offering a simple default prompt to help new users get started more confidently.

Overall, Poko is already very impressive and has huge potential.

A genuinely useful tool for agency video production

I run a small digital agency managing content across several client brands, and producing short motion videos has always been a bottleneck -- either outsourcing it at cost or spending far too long in editing software. Poko has changed that considerably.
The core workflow is straightforward: point it at a PDF, a PowerPoint deck, or a website URL, and the AI agent builds a scripted, animated motion video directly on your machine. No cloud queue, no upload wait, no per-render fees adding up at the end of the month. On my Mac the renders are fast; a 30-second clip is done in under a minute, and everything stays local, which matters when you're working with client materials that shouldn't be sitting on someone else's server.
For agency use, the chat editor is where it earns its keep. "Change the background colour", "slow that transition down", "move the logo" it adjusts in real time, and you watch the preview update. What used to take an afternoon of back-and-forth with a freelancer now takes twenty minutes.
The support team has also been genuinely helpful. Responsive, straightforward, and clearly interested in the product actually working for you rather than just closing a ticket. That makes a difference.
If you're producing content for multiple clients and need a repeatable, professional video workflow without the overhead, Poko is well worth a look.

It saved my time and possibly even my sanity.

For my use case i was blown away. I need to explain complex journal articles and academic research which sometimes includes advanced statistical analysis and big boring words to foundations, donors and other decision makers to ensure our research and mental/medical care & outreach remains funded.

With an upload of the article and a prompt as simple as, "make this easier to understand and sound more cool, it whipped out an amazing video that seemed to respect the target audiences time and intelligence.

Also the founder was very responsive and you can tell he is excited about his project and not just the excitement around making money off of it. He wants you to know how to use it and show that off how cool it is. There is something special about this one compared to others. In such a saturated market. I'm pretty lucky to find one that saves me so much time and money. My team is on the verge of insanity ourselves from overwork and simply can not afford any more stress luckily this Poko motion helped us out.

Just purchased yesterday and generated…

Just purchased yesterday and generated an explainer video on Hooke's Law based on pdf I uploaded. Very pleased with results and the video is something I would gladly share in my classroom as it captured all the important points. Model used was Opus4.8

I made the decision after asking Sambhav, one of the founders, many questions including a few requests for demo videos. I was deliberating using Google LLM and other competitors but selected Poko based on one thing: quality of output.

Poko's founders are on the ball and have already rolled out voice cloning via AI. this, i will certainly test out along with the other AI features. I look forward to the day when I do not manually edit videos anymore and rely on Poko instead. As an early adopter, I wish Poko every success in its future endeavours, lets win together!

Promising video software

I think it's a really good product.

The team is very responsive. They seem trustworthy and honest.

The software has some really good features. There's been bug improvements.

I'm looking forward to testing it more. I think it will cut my time in half when making videos about products from either URLs, PDFs, or PowerPoint presentations.

Poko.video Makes PDFs and Websites Come Alive

Poko.video is a standout platform for turning static content into engaging motion videos. I used it to convert a PDF and a website into dynamic videos, and the results were impressive, slick motion graphics and a cinematic polish that felt far beyond a simple screen recording. What really set poko.video apart for me was the AI-driven layer: at key moments, the system suggested enhancements and creative tweaks, and it even offered a transparent, prompt-by-prompt view of the generation process. This made the experience feel like working with an AI agent that thoughtfully guided each decision, rather than a black-box tool.

The platform’s voiceover capability is superb and the ultra-realistic narration added depth and pace, making the final videos feel premium. If you’re after fast, high-quality transformations of PDFs or websites into compelling videos, poko.video delivers. My only wish would be for a bit more granular control over AI prompts and pacing options to tailor the tone even further, but the current level of creativity and output quality more than earns its five stars. In short, with its AI-assisted creativity and clear generation insights, poko.video has the potential to rank among the top motion video makers in the market.

POKO.video: From Repo to “Whoa” Without Selling a Kidney

I came to POKO.video with a very specific problem: I needed 21 app explainer videos, and I did not want to spend the next month living inside a timeline editor like a sleep-deprived raccoon arranging keyframes. Naturally, I did what any responsible person does before panicking: I checked Fiverr.

The best quote I got was around $120 per video for a 20-second explainer, with 2 edits included. Multiply that by 21 and suddenly my “simple marketing task” started looking like a small infrastructure project. And that was before the inevitable “can we just change this one tiny thing?” loop, which everyone knows is where budgets go to retire.

Then I tried POKO.video.

The pitch sounds almost suspiciously good: drop in a repo, PDF, or PowerPoint deck, let the agent build a motion video, then chat-edit it until it feels right. But the wild part is that it actually works in a way that feels practical, not gimmicky. The interface is easy to understand, the workflow is clear, and I did not need to write code, export 47 assets manually, or name files things like final_final_v8_really_final.mp4.

My favorite feature, by far, is the repo-to-video capability. This is where POKO really stands out. You can give it a project repo, and it understands enough of the app, assets, branding, and structure to build proper explainer videos from the source material. It can reconstruct screenshots from code, pull visual direction from the project, and turn the whole thing into a polished motion video. That is a huge deal. Instead of spending hours taking screenshots, cropping screens, arranging UI shots, writing copy, and making things move, POKO gets you to a solid first version very quickly.

And then comes the chat editor, which is honestly the part that makes the tool feel fun. You can say things like, “make this faster,” “change the colors,” “zoom in more slowly,” or “add the logo in the corner,” and the video updates. It feels much closer to directing a very patient video editor than using another complicated production tool. No hunting through a maze of controls. No wondering which hidden panel contains the one setting you need. You just ask for the change.

This was especially useful for my batch of 21 explainer videos. With a human editor, even small changes can become a chain of messages, waiting, revised exports, more waiting, and a final bill that looks like it was generated by a villain. With POKO, I could iterate quickly, test variations, and keep improving the videos until I was satisfied. The result: I got all 21 videos done for under $200, with some change left over. Compared with the Fiverr quote, that felt less like a discount and more like finding a secret passage in a video production dungeon.

Another thing I appreciate is that POKO runs locally. Your files stay on your machine, and rendering happens on your hardware. That matters if you are working with private repos, unreleased products, client decks, or anything you do not want floating around in a cloud render queue. The tool is upfront about the data flow too: your source files and rendered videos stay local, while model prompts and excerpts may be used for the AI workflow unless you bring your own key. That level of clarity is refreshing.

POKO also supports multiple models and offers BYOK, which is great if you want more control over your AI setup. That said, my personal preference is using their built-in credits. The pricing has been very reasonable, and topping up is easier than managing separate provider dashboards, keys, limits, billing pages, and the usual API-key circus. For my use case, their credit system was simple, predictable, and painless.

I also want to mention the founders, Kushal and Sambhav. They are super approachable, responsive, and clearly paying attention to feedback. The app has already gone through multiple strong iterations, and each version has made it better, smoother, and more useful. That matters a lot with a product like this, because the category is moving fast and the difference between “interesting demo” and “tool I can rely on” is execution.

POKO.video is not just another video maker with a shiny AI sticker slapped on it. It solves a real workflow problem: turning existing content into useful, attractive motion videos without needing a full production team. If you have a repo, PDF, or deck and need explainer videos fast, it is absolutely worth trying.

In short: POKO helped me go from “I need 21 videos and possibly a financial advisor” to “done, rendered, and under budget.” That is the kind of software magic I can get behind.

A high-performance video engine without the usual friction

I have evaluated and tested numerous video creation platforms to integrate into our growth architectures, and the vast majority suffer from the exact same bottlenecks: sluggish rendering, clunky interfaces, and too much legacy friction that slows down content deployment. Poko.video completely bypasses those issues.

It operates exactly how a modern digital asset engine should. The platform is built for operational agility and pure performance. When producing creatives for high-tempo funnels, the ability to iterate rapidly without getting bogged down in unnecessary parameters is critical, and Poko delivers that flawlessly.

The Highlight: The sheer speed from concept to final export. The editor is incredibly fluid, allowing you to generate and modify high-quality video assets in a fraction of the time compared to traditional, bloated software.

The Workflow Edge: It fits seamlessly into a modern production stack. It scales perfectly when you need to deploy multiple video variations quickly, with zero lag or platform fatigue.

If you are optimizing your digital infrastructure and need a reliable, high-performance tool for video generation that actually accelerates your workflow rather than hindering it, Poko.video is a brilliant choice. Highly recommended.
