This was an expedition journey with a very experienced expedition team, who delivered well organised and unique experiences such as, Swimming with Whale sharks in Indonesia and authentic cultural experiences in Papua New Guinea.

Service....service.. service.
Great food.
Only very small gripe was that many of the day's outings were geared up towards snorkeling/diving, so alternatives would have been useful

Great trip to an isolated place.
Disappointed by end of season shortages and ack of more structured ecxcursions that we hav to experienced on previous Ponant trips

Great small and picturesque ports of call. We like the personal touch, shuttles into town and town maps should we not do the offered excursions. Sometimes finding to ship for the initial embarkation and the process has been a bit chaotic. Like the French and when local wines are offered.

Excellent staff, excellent food, excellent wines.
Only somewhat negative is the bar staff - Eastern European - need to smile more, like your Filipino staff on other ships.

I am following up on a report I sent regarding promise from Ponant following cancelled trip blamed on Covid. If you look at report Ponant were going to invite us to a short Cruise with them and once again they have let us down. We love Cruising and will be taking our 36th cruise in 2 weeks time onboard Queen Mary.
Ponant being new to UK were offering trip to Rejkiavik from Edinburgh. Paid for Cruise our return flight and Hotel in Rejkiavik. Cruise was cancelled they say due to Covid but the same ship on same due was now due to be in Copenhagen, please be wary of Ponant!

It was our 3rd Ponant cruise and our 2nd of the year.The foreign staff and some French from the restaurant very nice, otherwise we bought a French cruise with French gastronomie, instead of it, the food was horrible, we had to follow the American hours, because the boat has been bought by the Smithsonian(nobody told us that when we purchased it)so breakfast until 8:30am (nice when you are in vacations) and dinner no more seat after 7:45pm😡.
At night zero ambiance..
We were a group of 8 persons, and we have been all of us super disappointed ☹️ and frustrated..we were cruising in Greece, country of beautiful vegetables instead of that we had frozen fish and horrible tomatoes and cuncumbers, impossible to have a nice Greek salad..
Unfortunately is gonna be our last Ponant cruise, because when you call them and complain about what happens to us..they don’t care..very bad customer and managing service..

Beware of doing any village ‘tours’ on the Suvasuva (Fiji) part of a Pacific tour. We just paid USD110 per head to have a tour guide expound about Mr Tony Robbins and his programs on the island. There was little cultural insight, rather it was 4 hours of real estate information, ie which American owns which house,and of course, more of Mr Tony Robbins. It was the worst organised tour I’ve ever done, and would caution people.

Sailed from Bergen, Norway to Glasgow, Scotland, my second Ponant cruise. There were multiple excursions available to choose from in each port, and I signed up for the pre-cruise tour of Bergen. Everything went smoothly, but boarding in Bergen took a long time, and it was not clear that the trip would not actually include seeing Glasgow, since the port where the cruise ended was outside the city, and bus transportation went directly to the airport.

The crew was very professional. The ship was comfortable. Food very good. Every thing very peel organized

We had a lovely cruise with my parents. Wonderful to see the Dalmatian coast. Our staterooms were beautifully appointed with a wonderful crew to go along. Just a perfect relaxing time. We were all very sad to disembark.

Excellent trip one of the best we have been on. High quality service and attention to detail with everything onboard and excursions. I would request greater attention paid to those of us with dietary restrictions and not rely on us having to constantly ask if something is OK to eat

The staff was great! The ship looked brand new and our room with balcony was excellent. The food and service was excellent as well and best thing was the ship was not full, and small to start. Looking for another cruise right now!

Super cruise line, certainly the best experience we have had. First a trip from Panama thru the canal and on to Lima. Next a quick backwards S from Aukland down the Easter edge of North Island, thru the strait, and the western fiords around to end in Dunedin. Our third trip was an exploratory trip into the New Zealand fiords and south with 13 naturalists around the sun-Antarctic Islands. Love the quality of experience, live-aboard life, and the details the line and especially the expert crew and officers. Food, conversation, programs, and safety remains second to none thru all three voyages. Love the practical quality and style, in attitude and service. No unnecessary pretentiousness. Sign us up.

Ponant is one of my very favorite cruise lines. My cabin was gorgeous, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. I was on a special theatre cruise. I hope there will be more of those on Ponant. Can't imagine how a cruise line could be any better.

From the moment we embarked on the yacht until embarkation we were made to feel welcome and like family.
The hardware is delightful, the staff attentive and the cuisine outstanding.
Only bug was the little additional charges for some drinks especially when you were invited to a cocktail party and then charged for champagne, best to have this additional cost included.
We have already booked another cruise to Norway and next year French Polynesia.

Very kindfull and very professionnel.
That’s the reason why Ponant is my favo urite cruise operator .

The cruise to the subantarctic islands was superb. Incredible scenery. Incredible wildlife. I got some great photos. Great service. Superb food. Good wines included. Nice cabin and ours was the cheapest! Suited my fitness level. (70 years old)

Our first cruise with Ponant from Alaska to Canada in 2019 was spectacular.
The attention to detail was second to none in every aspect, from bow to stern, restaurants, entertainment, bridge, guide talks, escorted excursions, accommodation, and the food and service was exceptional
After just one cruise it’ll be only Ponant for us. Really looking forward to our next one coming up !!!!
