Stay clear of beckton branch. Opened today and I had the deluxe chicken burger on arrival. I ate some only to realise it was raw! I showed a member of staff who agreed it was infact raw.
I felt so unwell I then spoke with a manager who looked at my photo not the actual burger and told me it was not raw started laughing to other members of staff inside and outside of the store!

I will not be retuning and would not recommend unless you whant bad customer service and raw food!

Further more no toilets could be found in branch!

I visited the Newport, Gwent restaurant today, and made a substantial order for takeaway food, to the sum of £55.16p. The restaurant was not busy, yet we waited for over 25 minutes for our food to be prepared. When the food finally arrived, we received our drinks cups, and attempted to fill up on the Coca Cola we ordered. Unfortunately, there was only one of the two drinks dispensers working. After waiting for a further 10 minutes in the queue, and tried to dispense our Coca Cola, the machine malfunctioned. I was deeply disappointed at the time we waited for our food, and complained to a staff member. We were told that they were short staffed, and were waiting for the biscuits we ordered to cook. I queried why they didn`t wait for the biscuits to cook before finishing the balance of the order, as most of the rest of the food was cold by the time the order was given to us. I was offered no acceptable reason for the delay, and lack of a drinks order, and by the time we arrived home, all of the food was cold. I find this situation to be completely unacceptable, and my order of over £55 was a complete waste of money, as the food was inedible. I raised a complaint with the head office and was offered a £15 voucher to visit again!
When I responded I was told that a £15 voucher was the maximum they could offer as a company policy.
Further efforts to seek reasonable compensation were met with obvious AI responses, that tells me all I need to know about how seriously Popeyes takes customer service. Do not use this restaurant, as the service, the food and the customer service are appalling!

Popeye's Ealing Broadway

I’ve been a customer since the day this place opened, and it’s really disappointing that I have to keep addressing something as basic as properly cooked chicken. This isn’t a one-off mistake — it has happened several times over since it's opened, and again today. The chicken tenders I received were undercooked and clearly needed at least another minute of cooking.

Every time this happens, the staff apologize, but nothing changes. It shouldn’t be a repeated issue, especially when undercooked chicken can cause serious health problems. As a loyal customer, it’s worrying to feel like food safety isn’t being taken seriously here.

You never hear of places like McDonald’s serving undercooked food, so it’s frustrating that this continues to be a problem. Something really needs to be done to address this, because customers shouldn’t have to worry about whether their meal is safe to eat.

Popeyes is crap

Popeyes is crap, 1 star is a generous rating. If u read this review and still go to order food then ur a fool. The food is so undercooked i think my freezer has more cooked chicken in there. It gave me food poisioning.

Used the drive through service

Used the drive through service, took money, but no email confirmation.
Still waiting for a refund.
Only got for my child in the end, as they have never tried it.
Fries cold and hard and the burger was cold hard.
Never going again.

So much better

Popeyes is soooooo worth it, I swear.
The chicken absolutely destroys KFC. no competition at all.

And the chicken balls? Oh my days. I practically drain every last bit of flavour out of them. The meat is so moist it just melts in your mouth 🤤🤤

And don’t even get me started on the mayo… that moment it splatters everywhere on the second bite? Iconic. Chaotic. Beautiful. Hehe.

Honestly, 10/10. Popeyes has my whole heart. 😁

Just ordered from Popeyes Middlebrook…

Just ordered from Popeyes Middlebrook through Uber Eats, delivery was well over an hour, I had to wave from the door as uber couldn't understand basic instructions, food was cold, order was wrong, I ordered a chicken burger, 8 chicken wings and regular fries for £23 all in, I literally got a a small chicken burger (cold) and cold cajun chips. Utter waste of money, went straight in the wheelie bin. I wish I'd checked out the reviews on here before taking a chance, they are all 1 star, absolute garbage. Never again.

Poor overall experience

Visited the Middlebrook restaurant and the experience from start to finish was very poor, the screens are to close to the main door so the customer experience is poor before you even get started, the staff on the serving hatch were verey aggressive to many staff in the kitchen area and not enough in the main area of the restaurant, food left to go cold not keeping on top of the orders staff arguing between themselves, the straws for me should be in wrappers (Food hygiene) the flooring is dangerous I witnessed an accident were a child slipped just walking on the tiles and not one member of staff asked how he was that would be because they are all in the kitchen area arguing between themselves.

Dreadful

We visited Popeyes in Llanelli today. 26 February 2026 for the first and last time, the reasons why is we ate in the restaurant and both the different fries we ordered were just warm and by the time we had eaten half our meal the fries were cold, I give up, we stopped using McDonalds as every restaurant we ate in they also served us warm fries, I had great hopes Popeyes would be different, the staff didn’t seem to smile and I watched one young employee bring food to a table and he never smiled, then as tables were vacated they were not cleaned down with food on the tables and on the floor, bad hygiene, then I was lucky enough to sit in the middle aisle where on the wall was a loudspeaker the noise was relentless and so loud that when drums were beat my table actually vibrated, if I want music that loud I would go to a night club. We ordered different chicken pieces and were happy as the chicken was properly cooked and juicy. Considering this branch has only just opened we were very disappointed serving luke warm fries and the cleanliness. Also we didnt like the actual inside, it all looked cheap and tacky and on getting home have decided to tick Popeyes off our list for good, such a shame.

Avoid

Avoid this place. My daughter and I both fell ill with severe stomach pain and diarrhoea after eating at the Birmingham city centre branch. It was a terrible experience, and we definitely won't be returning

Dartford branch absolute scam

Popeye's Birmingham Airport. Don't bother.

Popeye's Birmingham Airport.

Ordered a breakfast meal and waited at the collection point. No info on the screens there so just waited and watched the staff. I'm not sure if they market this place as fast food but the staff certainly didn't have the word 'fast' on their minds. Seemed like they were wading through glue as they moved so slowly.

I waited and watched as they served everyone but me and eventually asked what was going on with my meal as the screens were blank. They didn't seem to even know about my order and took the ticket off me to give to the kitchen staff to make the meal.

One of the staff eventually asked what I had ordered (very difficult to understand them not sure if English was their first language, but we got there in the end)

Finally got the food and sat down. The food was ok apart from it was basically cold. Couldn't be bothered to attempt a complaint with the language issues so just left.
