Atrocious customer service!

Atrocious customer service!
Came out to quote for a job and didn't provide a quote.
When I phoned I had the "Joy" of speaking to Joy who was condescending and rude!
Phoned to speak to a manager/director to complain and nobody available!
When I visited the store for samples initially, I was met with someone who wasn't interested and didn't ask for contact details to quote and despite this I asked for a quote as a friend recommended and wished I hadn't bothered wasting my time.

Perfect until they get your money then your just an inconvenience

Went into the showroom had a great experience, the guy who came out to measure was also great. but when we accepted the first of 2 quotes it all went downhill.

We requested to be the first fit of the day due to other commitments, no problem they said. I phoned the day before to check as we had had no confirmation, only to find we had been booked in as the second job of the day which was completely unhelpful and could not be changed.

The first job of the day had a problem and the fitters actually got to us at just before 3.00pm, everything else we had on that day had to be cancelled. I phoned the office and was given the wrong number to try to contact someone who could help.

After finding the correct number I contacted them and was told Andy one of the family who owned the business or Kevin would phone me back.................................... 4 days later still no call.

So as soon as they have your money the customer care, in my experience, disappears.

The second quote will be supplied from else where and Poplar Carpets will not be invited to quote for any further business for us at all.

Another example of staff expected to go through hoops of fire to pacify the Management but the management are too busy playing golf to care when it comes to their turn to do something about customer satisfaction.
