The whole process was great from booking tool to the briefing to then the event.
The DJ was brilliant on the night and was very good at keeping everyone dancing and vibe up

He was a great DJ. listened to everything we asked and was very open to taking requests on the night. Literally people won’t stop going on about how good the DJ was on the night. So a very big thank thank you and I hope to be using him for my wedding day!

DJ Kev was amazing, playing all the important songs we asked for and making the night memorable for all the right reasons. He had the crowd up and dancing and also played more downtempo when that was what the room required. Would recommend

The DJ Emmanuel was the nicest most considerate man I have ever met, nothing was to much trouble for him, I would highly recommend Emmanuel. I would like to say a very big thank you to the lovely Emmanuel for making my party a big success. xx

I would like to thank the young lady who was customer support for being helpful and easy to talk to,it has been difficult to give a star rating as I think the principle of pop top brilliant and when I had an issue with the booking of the DJ who took 3 days to respond they did everything to help me once I contacted Poptop.
Because I had been let down previously by another DJ not with pop top and was organising my own party i was feeling a little stressed.I used pop top only 2 weeks before the event,I personally found the process of paying the deposit a bit odd before having a confirmation from the DJ or pop top agents,because I had no communication on the booking from anyone for a couple of days who then declined,the site is confusing and said the DJ was available,I then emailed customer service who were more than helpful and said could help me find another DJ.unfortunately I then booked two by mistake on the site,of which one I had to cancel as I didn’t realise I booked him as he didn’t respond for 24 hrs either,so booked another DJ .I kept the other who was fabulous as he responded straight away.
Unfortunately because I had booked twice an administration fee is taken with each booking, the deposit was returned but not the administration fee,if you cancel a booking the administration fee is only returned if the entertainer cancels.Because of the booking confusion.I did ask if the administration fee could be returned but was declined ,tho customer service Laura did try her hardest with the manager,I think out of goodwill and because of the confusion of the DJ’s not responding quickly enough they could have reimbursed the 2nd booking fee.

My advice,book well in advance,wait for response to check the entertainer will do the event text them email or speak (in my case they didn’t respond for two days)use customer service immediately,as I initially thought Poptop a scam as only emailed me and Poptop should perhaps have an initial response from a booking with either a phone call or a picture and phone number on an email sent immediately to reassure you that there are people to talk to and Im not sure half the deposit should be taken immediately just a prebooking fee until entertainer confirms, then deposit.Now I know you are genuine and have lovely people working for you and my DJ fab I will use you again but perhaps look at the booking process and communicate verbally or give opportunity to client at the initial contact with Poptop before a client contacts Poptop as they have an issue.

I registered with this company as professional DJ and put over 50 quotes in and had not one single booking even at ridiculously silly prices. Dont give them the time of day.

Great service, Poptop found us a local disco/DJ company who was excellent and good value. Thank you, will use Poptop again.
