Ordered and item never received. Tried to email and phone but no answer. I wouldn’t mind if they got back to me and let me know due to many orders my item will not be received at the expected time but customer service is non existent.
Thankfully I used a credit card and am hoping to receive my money back as I am unable to even cancel my order through them!!!
Please do not buy!!!!!

The item was received after just a few days of ordering. Unfortunately the bar cast iron stool did not suit our kitchen. Item was very well made though. Only two stars at the moment as I need to return the item and I can't get a response from the company. If they changed their customer service/returns procedure I would definitely increase this rating based on the speed of delivery and the quality of the stool
6/1/24 still waiting
8/1/24 have received email contact today as they were closed for xmas and they have agreed to arrange collection for us at a cost of £9. When it is uplifted and credited I will increase my star rating as everything else was fine bar the customer service but this may have been due to the xmas closure
29/1 we eventually received a label to return the item via the post office . We have now received a full refund.
A long hard process but some parts of process good , some not so good.
Have increased from 2 star to 3 star

Don’t buy from them, they aren’t a reputable retailer; Items of subpar quality, slow replies or ignoring or emails, forget to send your purchase, refusal to refund item or postage when an item is faulty.

Customer service abysmal.

Goods not received no customer contact number no response to e mails no communication still not received my goods been waiting since 21 November only means of contact e mail or message via website both no joy

Absolutely terrible customer service.
- No phone number- there’s a clue
- no answer to emails
- at the time of ordering you are told 1-3 days delivery for stock items, 5-7 days for manufactured items.
- stock items you order you are told were lost in transit and do you want to pick another item.
- the replacement item you pick is not acknowledged or sent
- you send in a formal complaint to be told that your original item is back in stock and will be sent out that day
- that item is never sent
- you email asking for a refund for the item you have not received
- your email is ignored so you have no item and no refund
I got the bar at half price - it is shabby at best. There are some boards that if you had any self respect you would not have sent to a paying customer. I appreciate wood is a natural product but the quality and finish leaves a lot to be desired. I have put my own worktop on and luckily that is the bit people comment on.
The issue is with the customer service. Once they have your money they aren’t interested. I even told them that if they did not send me what I had paid for or give me a refund for what they hadn’t sent I would be writing negative reviews - they just don’t care.
Honestly - spend your money elsewhere!

Absolutely disgusting! Still waiting for a reply back all my box was ripped, all the wood damaged and splinted and not even painted properly! Absolutely disgrace and best thing no instructions!!!

Wow, this company 😂😂 DO NOT purchase anything from these con artists, 3 weeks late, wood is all splintered, packaging all ripped, literally looks like cut up crates, absolutely atrocious, I will be getting my money back on this poor product can’t believe it

If I could give more stars I would. The bar we had made was 10/10 very easy to assemble, ordered with a delivery expected 5-7 days, it arrived in just 2 days in time for weekend, overly happy with their service!

Only gave a star as I had to so that I could write this. Do not buy from this "business" - ordered a product weeks ago with promise of a 5 day delivery. Surprise - it hasn't arrived! I've called, emailed, messaged on Facebook, all without a response. We needed the product for today so when I finally received an email from APC Couriers advising it would be with us today I was a tad relieved. I've just contacted the courier and found that it hasn't been dispatched by Porter Bars!!!! They basically booked the courier to make it appear that the item had been sent, but didn't send it. Absolute shambles of a company...disgraceful that people can do this kind of thing.

Product is good but customer service and communication could do with improvement. Simple to put together and average quality. Instructions were ok. There was a delay in comms after order and after reading some reviews I was nervous. I tried calling, emailing and chatting but could not get a response. In the end...after nearly a week, someone finally told me what was going on. Sort out comms and they would be a 4/5.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The company doesn’t respond to emails, no way of contacting them by phone and then when they do eventually reply, the respondent is extremely rude and aggressive (no way to treat customers). I am very cross with myself for not reading the appalling reviews prior to placing an order. The matter is now in the hands of my Credit Card Company.

Finally got my money back by charge back! Infuriates me every time I get their promotional mail even know I’ve asked to unsubscribe, something else they can’t do right

Very disappointing after care service. Ordered on the 26th September with a ‘estimated delivery of 5-7 working days’. Sadly only received the order today 11th October. Despite emailing 4/5 times with no response and the advertised number will go directly to a full mail box (I work in telecoms and know this is a joke), social media was used but very reluctant to give information. Raised a charge back with my bank as money was deducted at time of order. However, with the little information given, when the order was actually dispatched clear shipping was provided and was good. Quality of the finished product, i cannot fault but maybe a point is the bar I received was flat packed - and will require assembled by the buyer. Note the bar is front heavy so maybe a bracket to secure to floor would be required.
Overall, I would not recommend this company due to the lack of customer services in obtaining information on order. Previous reviews makes this company suspicious if it really is genuine or not.

The bar is perfect i was shocked by how fast they deliver. Would recommend to any one who has a man cave!

My wife ordered a bar sign last June and we haven't seen or heard anything since. This company is clearly fraudulent as the owner has our money and has no intention of delivering our order.

I have ordered my dream bar from this company by phone and have paid for it in full via my visa debit card over the phone on the 20-9-23. After receiving a confirmation text with a link to the order I have tried many times to contact them via telephone, text and email. Unfortunately I have not received any response from them and need to be in touch with them to arrange for their delivery. If I had a second chance of ordering I would look elsewhere. I will now pursue this in any way possible
