They are literally scammers

They are literally scammers. First, I paid for my trip online. Then the rider called me and the customer, asking for an additional amount. After that, the customer care executive called and took me on conference to clarify the details, but she also asked for money. She said the payment was not received in my account, which is completely wrong. I have the invoice and all the details.

They are continuously calling, and it is literally harassment. I have all the details, including payment proof and the invoice, yet they keep calling even after deducting money from my wallet. The delivery executive is also calling me unofficially and personally messaging me, which is really harassment.

I am really frustrated and will never book again. Guys, please think twice before using this service.

Extremely Poor Service

Extremely Poor Service – Furniture Damaged & No Resolution Even After 7 Days

I had a terrible experience with Porter. They damaged my furniture and even the walls of my house, and it has been 7 days with zero resolution from their side. I have called them 7–8 times every single day, but all they do is pass responsibility — Porter tells me to contact the partner, the partner tells me to contact Porter. They just keep playing blame games.

Once they take your money, they stop taking any responsibility. They charge heavily but provide pathetic service. Even after paying extra for additional packing, they didn’t provide even a single layer of proper protection. They also falsely claim 0% damage, but in reality, they caused significant damage.

Overall, they take zero accountability, offer extremely poor service, and leave you helpless after the job is done. I strongly advise everyone to avoid Porter if you care about your belongings.

Unsafe and Unprofessional Delivery Practice

I had a very concerning and unsafe experience with Porter today. I booked a delivery from my friend’s place to my address. After pickup, I noticed the order wasn’t moving on the app, so I contacted the delivery person listed in the tracking details. To my shock, he told me that his friend was delivering my order while he himself was busy with a Rapido ride.

This “friend” was neither mentioned in the app nor verified by Porter. That means my package was handed over to someone whose identity I had no information about. What’s worse, this unknown person was also going to come to my home address to deliver the order — which is completely unsafe and unacceptable.

As a customer, I expect transparency and accountability, not to have my package and personal address shared with an unverified third party without my consent. Porter must immediately address this issue, as it puts customer safety and trust at serious risk.

This is a very different, intuitive way of personalised travel- finally someone that gets me.

I am not a number, but a person.
Good to have this service and stop endless scroll!

Booking made easier :)

Porter made selecting a hotel for our trip to Lisbon so much easier. Porter saved me the hassle of doing hours of research on which hotel would be best suited. The location, price and rating of the hotel was exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend using Porter and will 100% be using it every time I travel.

Effortless and enjoyable experience

Porter provided a very quick and personalised service. It did everything it said it would do, and more. It took me half the time to find somewhere to stay in London that ticked all my boxes. Very pleased with the service and will 100% use it again. Thank you Porter

Efficient personalised searches 🤙

I liked the fact the hotel type personality test got me spot on...loving my Culture Vulture title😉 Came across the company by accident on the socials ( advert on Instagram) Certainly great at cutting through all the endless pages on some other hotel provider sites, good matches.

Was most impressed when I signed up for the site, and the CEO Gary got intouch and asked if there was anything preventing me from booking. Was honest and said was unsure and cautious as Porter being a new provider to the market, and the search was extremely reasonable for a 5 🌟 hotel,which I normally would not stay in . Usually simple ,slightly more than average and within budget hotels I would choose.

Gary Piazzon (CEO) said for me to contact him directly if any issues. I think due to this personal touch that made me rethink and go ahead with the booking. Love the fact the business is starting to bloom out of his own frustration of hotel booking platforms.

The reason I have not given 5 stars in my review is had issue with the search fields on Instagram page. I tried a few different dates and locations. However, kept returning to the original dates. Had to re enter these couple of times before gave me correct search. No obvious way to clear search fields.

Apart from this, hopefully can be tweeked and dropdown choice to be added maybe have solo traveller??
Although my excellent deal may be due to this fact anyway.
Shall without a doubt use this wonderful new site again and again , I just hope I'm not booked into the broom cupboard of said 5 🌟 hotel😉

Love the design of the site

Love the design of the site - it doesn't overwhelm me with nonsense I don't need if that makes sense?!
Also really like that I can like any pic I see, and it helps the site understand my travel style. Better results/hotel suggestions , and that is exactly what I wanted.

This website is so easy to use and navigate.
I also love how Porter gets to know your personality and preferences first - adding a unique personal touch.

So glad i came across this service! It made booking accommodation for my upcoming trip so simple and easy and i found several options were cheaper than on other sites so i will definitely be using Porter again.
