Its not a case of what went wrong - its a case of what went right - nothing. Lets start with food - I do not think that it is appropriate to tell clients its advisable to put the food you have just put on your plate from the selection into the microwave to heat up as the temperature is not right - Heard of food poisoning. Its also quiet nice to be smiled at by staff not 2 of them having a heated debate in Spanish both side of the table as you are trying to eat food. They state cook to order - rare, medium, etc - omelettes to order - Well ask and they look at you as if you are something they have stepped in - you get pointed to cold ones cooked earlier you ask for them to cook to your liking as written on card and they walk away - although praise for the more mature Omelette Lady who smiled and nothing was too much trouble for her. The one yesterday - well she didn't even want to crack an egg. Pool and sunbeds - no smoking or vaping allowed unless at the specified areas - well that’s a joke, smoking, etc everywhere. I went to reception to ask them to please come up and enforce their rule - they said they couldn't. I went back and asked the people that came and sat by us to use the smoking area, I was told to fxxk off. Wonderful Now we get onto the best part – building work – dust. I booked through Expedia and there was nothing on their website about the building work, but saw reviews on Tripadvisor. I contacted Expedia who contacted Port Benidorm to ask for a room away from the building work – Port Benidorm stated that my room was no where near the building work and we would not be disturbed. Strange as I was right next door to it – dust and noise all day - workers were so close I nearly asked them to have a cup of tea. Couldn’t sit on the balcony due to noise and dust – not good for asthmatics. Contacted Expedia again and they contacted the hotel – Hotel said that I could try every morning to get a swap but they were full – strange that as they had rooms available to book on Booking.com – website, etc. Tried everyday but not good as we were there only nights. Complained to Expedia again bt they are as useless. DON’T BELIEVE PORT BENIDORM ABOUT THE WORK – DO NOT STAY THERE UNTIL ITS FINISHED OR DON’T STAY THERE AT ALL.

We have booked hotel room in Port Hotels Alicante. On the website was mentioned that swimming pool is heated, they do supply with beach towels - but none of this were there. No sorry or anything. Seems like they didn't care. We booked that hotel just because of heated pool for our little one.
Food isn't ready good, fruit is not fresh. Very disappointed

My family and i have been staying at hotel euroupa for the past week in this whole time no once have they changed the bed sheets swept or moped the floors i will not be returning to stay with port hotels agen

When you find a good hotel in a the right location that is spotlessly clean with excellent food and staff that are both friendly and extremely helpful, you stick with it. We are, we think, fairly energetic 70 somethings, and have been to Benidorm on very many occasions as it is a good short haul break for us and we have stayed at many different hotels both in Levante and Poniente but the Port is we think the exception to the rule. Have already stayed there twice (once this last Christmas) and hope to spend many more as we think the Port Benidorm have got it right, they really do put the guests first. We did have a bit of a plumbing problem on our last evening (the only problem we had) but it was soon resolved and with the staffs help we were moved to another room. Thanks to ALL staff at the Port.
