I echo what others say here. Product was not like what was advertised, didn’t function, and they have no return policy except to email them. When you do that, they say to follow the return policy. Keep your money and avoid this scam!

The Portlands Portable Desk Pad was not as advertised in their product photo or description. It needs to be hand inflated, and what they sent to do that is a joke. The material has a terrible feel. There are no return or refund instructions on their website. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are dishonest.

There is everything wrong with this company. They do not have a customer service number, and they will not respond via email for days! Most importantly, they sent you the wrong product on purpose and they you cannot send it back because return instructions don't exist. This company is a complete fraud!

This is a scam. I ordered memory foam desk pads and got inflatable ones that don't work. I have emailed three times with no answer and doubt I will get my money back. No phone number just an email to no-one. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHOP.

Total scam! As others have mentioned in their reviews, you do not get what is pictured. I ordered a memory foam lap desk for $80 (which was supposedly DISCOUNTED from the "original" price) and it's literally just an inflatable, and is not even functional. I'm not even going to try to return it, because it would cost just as much to ship it back, and I doubt I'd actually get a refund. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE!

Total scam, product NOT as pictured. they sent inflatable style not memory foam.. return cost 130$ , if your trying to return take the refund they offer its much cheaper 45% refund.... CHEAP JUNK.. and the worst customer service. try to give you the run around until the return time runs out. Much better products on line

So we walk into the store now I have a service dog a.k.a. assistance dog, and the store owner didn’t care/says he doesn’t care. We go into the store the man behind the till says you cannot have dogs in here and my mom says it is an assistance dog so the man behind the till tells us to leave, and my mum says no, we’re not going to leave. Also one thing to note is that denying an assistance dog is illegal and you have to pay a lot of money for disability discrimination. Now I didn’t want to mention this but I feel like it’s important for other people to know he is a medical alert dog and a psychiatric service dog and they denied him - unacceptable! if you go into the store with an assistance dog mark my words they will almost certainly deny you and your dog so please take my advice and don’t come in here with an assistance dog — unless you want to get denied or have some sort of confrontation.

I ordered a portable memory foam desk-for $85. when I received the item, it was the most ridiculous inflatable desk. I tried to email them as instructed through their website. I’m still waiting for their answer…even though they say in their customer service that they will answer emails within 24 to 48 hours. There is no actual customer service number that you can call. To my surprise, the cheap item they sold me for $85. That inflatable piece of junk can be bought in Amazon for $10. I contacted PayPal ….who right now sucks ….because they favored with the seller I would not hear a reason. The seller wanted to give me back the money IF I sent back the item to ITALY. The postage and handling of the item itself would’ve been at least $60 up to $250. I will make sure to voice my feelings to any potential buyers because this is a scam!!

First, one star is being generous. This company is a SCAM! Run. Save your $80! They will deliver inflatable desks similar to an air mattress. They have difficulty reimbursing, telling the truth and being a company with integrity.
Best suggestion: do not deal with them!

I had the same experience as the person who posted on 1/13/25. It is NOTHING like what you see on the ads. I have now written 4 emails requesting a return and have not received a response to date. Do not purchase these.

BEWARE! ALL reviews for Portlands.shop that are positive are FAKE. They currently have less than 30 reviews on TrustPilot with a 3.9 rating. But on their own website, they claim to have a 4.6 rating on TrustPilot and list reviews from fake people that don't actually exist. If I could post a photo of the cheap inflatable cushion they sent me, you would have verifiable proof this company is a SCAM. It is literally the same quality as a $3 inflatable pool raft you can purchase from a gas station. It is nothing like what's on their website. Strongly recommend contacting your banks and file a dispute for fraud against this company.

It took over 30 days to receive my order, which completely ruined my plans for a Christmas gift. When the so-called "portable desk" finally arrived, it turned out to be nothing more than a flimsy inflatable piece of junk. To make matters worse, their return policy is absurd—I have to return the item in its original packaging and ship it to ITALY at my own expense. Upon further investigation, I discovered that their listed address doesn't even exist on Google Maps. This company is fraudulent and should be avoided at all costs.

I have tried to reach out to the customer service email for weeks and have had no response. I had made a mistake on placing my order and ordered more than needed. I sent 2 email the same hour order was placed and then 2 days later and then 2 weeks later. They have not communicated at all nor have confirmed receiving any info. They tell you to wait for an email with physical adress to send your return to but don’t respond at all. I would not recommend buying from this company due to no communication with customers and now I’m 6 days away from the 30 day limit for returns. Not good and not recommended!

Any review other than a 1 star is a lie! The portable desk says it is made of memory foam. LIE!!! It is 100% inflatable. DO NOT BUY!!!!
Again, any review giving this anything other than a 1 star is a lie. MASSIVE let down for my wife's Christmas present.

Hope someone reads this before purchasing. Thought I was getting the portable desk shown in the advertisement. Instead I received a piece of junk, inflatable desk.

Total scam!!! I bought one product and was charged for it and then another item was purchased later in the day without my authorization. Hopefully you don't get caught up in this BS company!!
