Quite happy with the coverage and the price...thanks.

Quite happy with the coverage and the price...thanks.
I am 80 and anticipated some problems finding an insurer at a reasonable price, especially since the holiday break was to Iceland! Volcanic activity has caused problems in the past. Although I was not sure if Iceland came under the European area, a phone call to them gave me an assurance that this was the case. To be honest, that could have been made clearer on the online presentation.
All in all, a fair insurance offer...which , having bought, fortunately, I did not need to call upon!

As brokers we deal with a large number of companies. It is therefore not as easy to select 'regions' as schemes with only one insurance provider - some companies include Iceland as Europe, some do not. If in doubt customers using our comparative quotation system can select the country from the drop down lists as well as the expected area. The help button on the page provides information and we have amended it so that travellers to Iceland are requested to specifically enter the country as well as Europe for the region. We have also given further guidance on the page. Thanks for pointing this out.

On our Redwood Contract there is no such problem and we will amend the page to make sure that a list of 'European' countries is available more easily.

Searched many sights before finding this one. Many companies i tried wanted 10 times more for my holiday insurance. Just returned from my holiday, and recommended B Portwood to a few people i met who paid well over the odds for their insurance cover.Hope they try you.
Will be using you again for my next holiday!
